Rose didn’t say much more.
Mina and the other children happily pulled Rose towards the shower room at the back.
After they left, Su Mo’s expression subtly shifted as he walked towards the living room. He naturally approached the damaged pile of tal.
Su Mo looked left and right, making sure everything was clear, and then softly called out.
“Hey~ opportunity knocks.”
The next second, the Fake Owner·Swallower silently erged from Su Mo’s body with extrely little noise.
Su Mo quickly whispered an instruction, “Don’t make any noise and don’t damage any part of this thing. Otherwise, it’ll be noticeable that soone has tampered with it. Also, be quick.”
“I know my asure.”
After responding, the Fake Owner·Swallower went straight into it.
Su Mo held his breath, occasionally glancing around. Actually, the others were not an issue, as he could sense them approaching right away. It was Rose he had to be most wary of since she was a real professional combatant.
So, after Rose went to bathe, Su Mo dared to boldly get to work.
In less than a few minutes, the Fake Owner·Swallower re-erged and went straight back into Su Mo’s chest.
Seeing that it had finished, Su Mo couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
“You finally got it done.”

“As you wish.”
The Fake Owner·Swallower seed a bit surprised by Su Mo’s reply.

Su Mo turned to look and saw Rose, with her blond hair hanging loose, wearing a pink nightgown—an undersized version of Mina’s—that was stretched tight, the buttons straining as if they would burst at any second, revealing her snow-white belly and slender waist.
Rose’s figure was simply perfect, her waist devoid of any excess fat, her skin especially white and smooth.

Su Mo felt a bit guilty and quickly turned his head away, coughing and saying, “You’ve finished bathing.”

“Su Mo, aren’t you going to wash up?”

“I’ll go and wash now.”
With that, he made an awkward exit.
Rose watched Su Mo leave and couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
“Haha, turns out he’s just a little boy.”
After a while, Su Mo had a bath and comfortably returned to the living room. He hadn’t expected to find a small swimming pool made of stone in Mina’s shower room.
It looked like Mina’s family used to be quite well-off.
Su Mo glanced at the living room; Rose had already nestled into the bedding laid out on the ground.
Su Mo walked to his own bedding and crawled in.
He felt soone’s gaze on him and turned to look.
There was Rose, lying on her side, watching him with her eyes blinking.
“Not asleep yet?”
Su Mo felt a bit guilty as he spoke to Rose.
“It’s still early, I don’t usually sleep this soon. In our line of work, sleep is sotis a luxury. Of course, you understand what I an—not that there’s no ti to sleep, but that most of the ti, it’s hard to sleep soundly.”
Rose was genuinely interested in chatting with Su Mo. Initially, she thought of Su Mo as a highly skilled person, but the more she interacted with him, the more she realized he was not just strong. He also had many rare qualities, like being extrely low-profile and gentle, and still very green, contrasting starkly with the open n from their Kingdom.
“Yeah, that’s true. As the ace of the GT Departnt, we’re essentially on call 24/7,” Su Mo nodded in agreent.
“Actually, there’s nothing to be happy about. My reasons for joining the GT Departnt are many and complicated. Plainly put, I had no choice, and this position is not easy. You face the most dangerous enemies. One second you’re on top of the world, the next you might be gone,” Rose said with so emotion.
“That’s true, it’s far too dangerous,” Su Mo agreed.
“What about you?”
“?”
Su Mo was surprised, not sure how to respond for a mont.
“Yes, why go on an expedition? Why join the GT Departnt? Is it for glory, or for power and wealth?”
