Whilst I was away on my duty as a son to my father whom I had been with for so ti after I had left the activities of the dinsional gate to the Sinister Twelve. My father had wanted to tell that he was going to appoint another king to be ruling all of us in his stead. He felt that it was necessary however I told him that it wasn't. He kept insisting, disregarding my logic.
I had no reason to continue arguing with him so I kept silent knowing that anything I would say would not be able to see light in this conversation. "What do you say is needed, Darius?" my father asked. I looked at him with gleaming eyes, like a child would when they are asked what sweet they would like to have. I parted my lips.
"I say that we don't need to have another king and that we would need more of us to take over that world," I told him.
"We shall not continue with the discussion of a new king for that would be futile. As for that endeavour, it may turn out to be fruitless, child. Your colleagues have said that your brother is alive and well, don't you think he will co in the way of your goal?"
"He may not do such with how little he had been fighting for years and besides so of his forr mbers were delighted to hear of his being still walking and breathing. Besides that, he does not know where the dinsional gate is, and even if he were there are plenty of us to stop him in his path."
"That may not be the case with how he has developed before he left. You absolutely haven't the feintest idea of him now do you, Darius? He may be your brother, but he is more than ets the eye, though he, himself, has not found that out himself but it is the truth and an undeniable fact."
After he uttered those words sothing in ca to be. A feeling I had never felt before, it was not fear, not anger but envy. I had never envied him for he knew of nothing greater than I, yet he was favoured over . Then I was angry, and I resented Ravedos. Now I envy him for he may be stronger, more powerful than I.
It should've been to lead the Sinister Twelve not him. I should've escorted the angels then; I should be in the front lines with the others, yet my father had summoned to stand before him to speak of this and waste my ti. NO! I have had enough of being overshadowed by him. I hate him, I envy him, and I cannot fathom how he ca to take more power than I while he is a crossbreed of that bitch the Supre Deity and my father.
No one despised him, they feared him excluding myself. He betrayed us, yet my father doesn't have any feeling of pain, hate and resentnt toward him than the others. He is calm and content in this situation. Does he know sothing I don't? Is Ravedos even my brother? I thought to myself.
I looked at my father, he stared at . His head resting on his hands, elbows planted on the table and his eyes staring at and they felt like my shrapnel tearing through the air and hitting my eyes as our gazes t. I could sense a malevolent energy flowing through him. He had been thinking, analysing and scrutinising what he had to do with .
"Darius I can see that your emotions are coming into play about Ravedos. I had always known that you hated him, but these are a new array of emotions. I warn against facing your brother in any manner. You- "
"You shall not tell what to do especially with how I feel. You never gave what I wanted. You dumped all the responsibility onto him, when he didn't want it. You made him to be fierce, feared and known by all. Have you forsaken father to be apart of his shadow? Or is it that you feared and used him instead?"
"Hahahahaha. How absurd is your statent, Darius? I have never heard such preposterous words in my life. Do you really believe I fear any one of them here in our ho. Those beasts may kill you, but I am the one who will be able to kill them effortlessly. You will rule the day that you have spoken to as such, and you will see why I am the Demon Lord. Continue to pursue this path of iniquity to be my child that you have found yourself to have fallen into and your days will be numbered. That I swear to you."
"… I -apologise father for my insolence. I shall not return to that path."
He got back to work while I stood there not realising that I don't know my father. I always find him in his office in our ho and of recent it is one of the many hos we have built. Over ti the influence of humans had arrived, and they built settlents and now we have cities and towns in our ho. These humans had no other access here than to die.
I had pondered the thought of that soone had been killing these humans as a multitude of them had been arriving for years. Though my theories had been wrong, I may not understand why this is happening.
While I was in my thought my father spoke and said, "There is a ssage for you to co at any mont. Be ready to receive it." He had a dark monotone that I didn't want to question. Monts afterward a ssenger arrived and stood upright, then knelt before . I was jaded by this, and I knew all that I needed to know to respond.
It stood and parted its lips, "Your brother is with two angels and two humans, and they are by the dinsional gate, while the others are standing ground to kill them. However, they prove to be like insects that cannot die and would co back in persistence," it spoke. It had said all it had to speak and left.
My father sat there glaring toward . "Continue down this path and believe that your bond with him will be severed further to a thin a strand that may snap at any mont." My father said. "Your brother can beco vicious, yet he restrains himself so much so. He cares for you, and he doesn't want either of you to end up in a pool of blood for he knows better not to lose you. Do not provoke his anger and all will be well. You shall heed my words, Darius."
"Very well father. I shall heed your words and not provoke his anger, although he and I have not seen each other in centuries and a little dual is all I want."
"Is that all you wish to do?"
"I assure you that is all I will do."
My father dropped his head back into his work and I left to et my older brother once more.
