After erging from the underground secret chamber, the Zhao Family Ancestor and his three companions all focused their senses, carefully probing their surroundings.
Soon, ecstatic expressions appeared on all four of their faces.
"It's the aura of the Vermilion Bird! We can feel it even from this far away. He must have co into contact with the Vermilion Bird very recently!"
"We'll definitely be able to track down the Vermilion Bird through that Chu Qingyun!"

Once they had a plan, the four of them took a slight detour and beca four blurs, lunging toward the courtyard from four directions.

The buzz from Chu Qingyun's slaying of the Half-Step Martial Spirit had yet to fade, and many faces were still flushed with excitent.
But upon feeling this terrifying aura, everyone instantly fell silent. Those with weaker cultivation couldn't help but start trembling uncontrollably.

With a furious roar, the Zhao Family Ancestor swooped down from the courtyard wall, his hand shooting out to grab Chu Qingyun.
"Haha, Zhao, let give you a hand!"
"I'm coming too!"
"Count in!"
The other three Martial Spirits weren't about to stand by and watch him take all the credit. They too swooped down, lunging at Chu Qingyun.
Pinned by the four powerful auras of the Martial Spirits, Chu Qingyun was under imnse pressure. Even breathing beca difficult.
However, a cold sneer played on his lips.
'So, you finally couldn't resist showing yourselves!'
"Stop! It is not your place to discipline a mber of my Great Xia Dragon Guard!"
A loud shout erupted from the crowd as an even more terrifying aura soared into the sky, instantly shattering the four auras from the Zhao Family Ancestor's group.
Grand Commander Chu Yu's figure flickered as he charged toward Chu Qingyun at incredible speed.
"Earth Spirit Realm!"
The Zhao Family Ancestor couldn't help but cry out in alarm.
Their hearts and minds reeling, the four of them instantly understood. They had been duped. They had fallen into a trap set by Chu Qingyun and the Great Xia Dragon Guard!
'Flee!'
A single thought flashed through all four of their minds.
Facing an Earth Spirit Realm expert, they couldn't muster the slightest will to fight back, even with four of them.
However, Grand Commander Chu Yu's speed far surpassed the four of them.
Besides, they had been lunging at Chu Qingyun with all their speed; it wasn't easy to change direction so suddenly.
Grand Commander Chu Yu appeared before the Zhao Family Ancestor in an instant, striking out with his palm.

Caught off guard, the Zhao Family Ancestor hastily t the attack with a palm of his own.

The sight instantly confird it for Grand Commander Chu Yu. They were indeed from the Martial Soul Hall!
After severely injuring the Zhao Family Ancestor, Grand Commander Chu Yu chased down another man, easily incapacitating him.
However, the other two fled north, not even daring to look back.
Grand Commander Chu Yu watched them flee north without giving chase. He had deliberately herded them in that direction when he made his move.
"You filthy rats of the Martial Soul Hall! Where do you think you're going!"
After the furious shout, two figures shot up from the north, splitting up to intercept the two fleeing Martial Soul Hall mbers. A battle instantly erupted.
These two were none other than the two special operatives of the Great Xia Dragon Guard who had accompanied Grand Commander Chu Yu.
Grand Commander Chu Yu was an Earth Spirit Realm expert. He also possessed a Treasure that could conceal his aura, which was why he could disguise himself and blend into the crowd undetected.
The other two, however, had to hide much farther away to avoid detection.
This too was a precautionary asure.
Though the two special operatives were not at the Earth Spirit Realm, they were still considerably stronger than the Martial Spirits from the Martial Soul Hall. They ended the fight quickly, capturing the two n alive.
The Martial Spirit Level battle had destroyed a large section of buildings within the city.
Those who lived around the Zhao Family estate were among the rich and powerful of Fla City; they were all people of extraordinary status.
However, the Great Xia Dragon Guard couldn't be bothered with such things.
They were only responsible for catching their targets. As for the ssy aftermath, they let the respective City Lord's Mansions clean up the ss.
Seeing that the two had been captured, both Chu Qingyun and Grand Commander Chu Yu breathed a sigh of relief.
"Chu Qingyun, this matter involves Martial Spirit Level experts and is of grave importance. I must take them and depart imdiately, rushing back to the County City. Are you coming with us, or will you travel alone?"
Grand Commander Chu Yu said to Chu Qingyun, holding up the two heavily injured Martial Spirits.
Chu Qingyun pondered for a mont, then said, "Sir, you go on ahead. I still have so things to take care of in Fla City."
Grand Commander Chu Yu nodded. "Very well. Then I'll take Liu Canghai with first, to keep him from causing you trouble. Once you've handled your business, you can travel to the County City with Sun Daxiong and Xia He."
With that, Grand Commander Chu Yu took the two prisoners and quickly vanished from the courtyard to rendezvous with the other two n.
"Haha, Chuyu, capturing four Martial Spirits from the Martial Soul Hall is a huge accomplishnt!" one of the special operatives laughed. "But I have a question. What would you have done if you'd injured the Zhao Family Ancestor and discovered he wasn't part of the Martial Soul Hall?"
"Not part of them? Hmph. If he wasn't, then I would have charged them with the cri of attacking Chu Qingyun, a mber of the Great Xia Dragon Guard! In any case, that incident was definitely connected to the Zhao Family. They killed so many of my Celestial Wind Army's n. The Zhao Family was going to pay the price one way or another!" Grand Commander Chu Yu replied.
The two special operatives shook their heads. "You people from the Six Armies are as overbearing as ever."
"Gentlen, I suggest we take Liu Canghai and return to Lianshan County City imdiately," Grand Commander Chu Yu said, his tone serious.
"In such a hurry?"
"Mm. Don't forget, we've captured four Martial Spirits. This is no small matter. If a true powerhouse from the Martial Soul Hall sets their sights on us, this great accomplishnt could turn into a great catastrophe."
Grand Commander Chu Yu said, a hint of a threat in his voice.
