Sawamura wiped at his tears with the back of his hand.
"I just… rembered our Sumr Tournant," he said quietly.
They too had lost—in their very first ga.
His friend rolled his eyes.
"Have so sha. We lost in the first round of the regional tournant.
Osaka Kiryu made it to Koshien!"
Sawamura gave a weak laugh through his tears.
"Yeah… but soday, I'll be there too."
