"Herbert!!?"

"What are you trying to do!!?"

"Are you crazy?!"

"You!"

"Ahhh!!!"

In what was deed the most luxurious space in the Frost Crystal Kingdom, death descended.

Soone wailed.

Soone begged for rcy.

Soone cursed.

But the Paladin never stopped his steps.

Not even half a step.

He walked, he judged, he left, leaving behind headless corpses.

Regardless of gender, anyone who had previously shown killing intent towards him t the sa fate.

Judgnt.

It wasn't difficult.

Judging an evil noble only took three seconds.

"Guards! Where are the guards!!?"

"Princess!?"

"Why are you just watching...?"

"Do you know!?"

In this mad chaos, Philia, the main character of the banquet, stood quietly in place.

No, it's not that she didn't want to stop it, nor did she approve of Herbert's slaughter.

Rather, she simply couldn't move right now!

"Hey, why aren't you moving?"

Valentina, dressed in a nun's attire but exuding a delinquent vibe, crossed her arms in front of her chest, pushing up her ample bosom, and snorted at Philia:

"Go ahead, I certainly won't stop you."

Hmph!

Dragon lady's vertical pupils stared intently at her foe, just waiting for her to counterattack.

As long as she initiates, though not kill her, she can surely give her a good beating, right?

"..."

But Philia remained silent at this mont.

Normally, she would make other choices, but under the current Ice and Snow Mind, she would only make the best choice.

She watched in silence as Herbert slaughtered among the crowd.

One, two, three... ten nobles.

Herbert did not stop, continuing to hunt down new prey like a specter.

Judgnt, judgnt, judgnt.

Beheading, beheading, beheading.

Although most of the dead were young nobles without titles, it was bound to cause quite a stir.

Philia understood that by this point, no matter how she explained it, she was already implicated.

This person, from the mont he attended the banquet, had already started planning.

The unexpected banquet attendance, the intimate dance of the two, and even the final confrontation and the present forcing to watch it all happen... these were all acts for others to see.

He didn't declare anything, yet everyone would assu their intimate relationship.

She had beco an accomplice.

anwhile, after Herbert swiftly judged several evil nobles, he finally stopped pursuing, sparing the others who fled in panic.

"Whew!"

Herbert's Paladin white robes were completely stained with blood, appearing ferocious and savage.

This was his first ti taking a life, but perhaps because that bloody knowledge had warped his mind, he felt no discomfort.

He even felt a faint pleasure now.

He longed for more blood.

My friends, I want to see rivers of blood!!!

Only, this ti it seed impossible, as outsiders had arrived.

He raised his head, looked at the hastily arriving royal guards, and revealed a bright smile soaked in blood.

Though these n may not all be innocent, killing them all might result in accidental casualties.

"Alright... now, that's about enough."

"Ti to leave."

Herbert called out to Valentina: "Valentina, let's go."

"Hmph."

Valentina snorted at Philia sowhat displeased, then strode towards the side of the ballroom, kicking open the terrace door.

Whoosh—

The biting cold wind suddenly poured in, causing the flas in the fireplace to flicker, nearly extinguishing them!

The ballroom was high up in the Frost Crystal Palace, where the wind was fierce in winter.

Yet Valentina ignored the cold breeze, striding forward and leaping down!

Herbert followed closely, ready to jump off the terrace as well.

"Herbert!!!"

Upon hearing the icy call behind him, Herbert continued his motion, turned his head while standing on the terrace railing, and gave Philia a bright smile.

"Don't worry, we'll et again later."

He waved goodbye to the Princess and then spread his arms wide, falling backward, free-falling down!

Philia's expression changed, and she rushed forward, but just as she was nearing the terrace, a gust of fierce wind blew her back.

Whoosh!!!

Philia braced herself with ice, gripping the ground firmly to stabilize her body.

But in that mont, her mind could not remain stable.

Even with her Ice and Snow Mind, Philia still felt imnse shock.

"What is this!!?"

She saw a giant vertical pupil appear beyond the terrace — coincidentally, she was quite familiar with that eye.

At dusk.

All the residents of the Frost Crystal Royal City witnessed a scene.

A terrifying giant dragon silhouette appeared outside the royal palace castle, circling around the castle, its dark red scales glowing scarlet like blood under the winter's setting sun.

Yet before feeling fear, they could only feel shock.

The hundred-ter-long giant dragon looked almost half the size of the castle, soaring across the sky, it blew a fla towards the horizon.

Roar—

The giant dragon flapped its wings, soaring freely, enjoying its long-lost freedom!

And Herbert stood steadily on the wide, flat back of the giant dragon, braving the cold wind, roaming the sky with Valentina.

Of course, his skills had not yet reached the level where he could move as if on flat ground on a dragon's back — but he could cheat.

A physical kind of cheat.

Shadowy tentacles sprouted from the shadows beneath his feet, gripping his ankles tightly, anchoring him securely to the dragon's back.

Yes, that was his safety belt.

And after the two wantonly road above Frost Crystal Royal City for a while, a thunderous roar echoed from the depths of the royal palace, resonating through heaven and earth, even overshadowing the dragon's roar!

"Where did this monster co from!!?"

"How dare you run wild here!!!"

"You! Get! Down! Here!"

Without seeing the person, a massive Dragon Spear was seen thrown from the ground, flying toward the giant dragon in the sky, aiming cunningly for its wing.

Boom—

Valentina dexterously dodged it, letting out an angry roar, feeling provoked and ready to retaliate.

But Herbert stopped her at that mont.

"Don't worry about him, let's go."

Roar!!?

"Let's go."

Herbert gently comforted, his whisper echoing in Valentina's ear: "We've already made enough fuss, the initial purpose has been achieved."

"If we don't give them so face, allowing the people to believe the kingdom's heroes drove away the giant dragon, the Royal City will fall into complete chaos." Read complete version only at Nove1Fire

"If a large number of refugee flows appear, it would certainly result in many deaths, and then we two would not have a good ending either."

They ca to show force, to declare their presence.

Not to conduct a terrorist attack.

Just to establish power.

No need for you to actually fight.

"Hmph!"

The giant dragon snorted, ready to argue, then heard Herbert's next words...

"The Archbishop would definitely scold us."

"Roar... Hmph! Let's go! I won't stoop to his level!"

Valentina sniffed and carried Herbert, flying quickly into the distance without looking back.

Hmph!

No, not because I'm afraid!
