"Friend, dearest friend..."
Svanni pondered these two unfamiliar words, couldn’t help but shake her head. She lifted the aura blockade of the treehouse and smiled as she looked toward the direction where Eliza was.
Her doppelganger sat where Herbert had just been sitting, took a deep breath to greedily inhale his scent into her lungs, and chuckled to herself, "This is truly an unexpected developnt."
...
...
Aurora Sanctuary.
Whoosh!
The Teleportation Gate flashed and vanished, and in this montary gap, Herbert dove through from behind the gate, tumbling awkwardly on the ground before standing up gracefully again.
"Heh, a re Hungry Dragon, that’s all it is... hiss."
He grimaced, rubbing his palms, lanting, "Whew! That was thrilling! I was almost caught there!"
Upon pushing open the Teleportation Gate, Herbert almost ran into Valentina patrolling around, nearly getting stopped halfway!
The Hungry Dragon wanted to force to submit, surely wanting to capture for the Star Fury Power!
Well, if it weren’t for urgent matters, I might have gone along with it...
Thinking of the matter at hand, Herbert turned his attention back inside the Aurora Sanctuary, searching for the main figure that had drawn him here.
"Yo, long ti no see, Luhier! Are you at it again... huh?"
But when Herbert looked at Luhier, he blinked uncertainly.
Huh?
Every ti Herbert reached the fifth level of the Aurora Sanctuary, he would encounter new discoveries.
The first ti, Herbert saw a gigantic eyeball, surrounded by those dark wings.
The second ti, he saw the tall four-ard Fallen Angel, witnessing her new appearance after transformation.
And this third ti...
"Gulp."
Herbert swallowed and squinted at the presence in the distance.
If previous encounters with Luhier revealed only her gentle side as a Fallen Angel...
Then at this mont, what Herbert saw was her battle stance as she once was, a War Angel facing evil and enemies.
The black veil in front of her eyes vanished, replaced by a black face mask emitting a cold aura, concealing her face.
The dark wings behind her gently floated, each feather seemingly transford into a sharp blade, with tallic gleams flickering as they gently swayed.
This reminded Herbert of one of her titles — [Fallen Sword Feather]!
Her elongated four arms were also covered with battle armor arm guards, her fingers adorned with hand armor flaunting a chilling sharpness.
Her fingers moved slightly, causing the space to twist faintly, as if capable of tearing apart everything in the world.
Behind her, a massive pale halo floated, emitting an eerie glow, resonating with the intense Fallen aura radiating from Luhier.
An expansive sacred hymn continuously echoed around her, as if lanting her fall, yet also recalling past sanctity.
Amid this intertwining atmosphere of fall and sanctity, she embodied a paradoxical combination, exuding a uniquely heart-palpitating aura.
"...hiss."
Herbert squinted, briefly unsure how to speak.
This...
Why did she suddenly beco like this?
"Luhier, you are... huh?"
Just as he began speaking, the Fallen Angel in the distance suddenly vanished into thin air.
Vanished!!?
Before Herbert could think, he suddenly sensed a terrifying presence behind him that made his blood run cold.
Teleportation!!!
Before Herbert could react, he heard a sigh laden with complex emotions.
"Sigh."
In the next instant...
Herbert’s vision went black.
