Even with Herbert’s pride, he had to acknowledge the great disparity between them.
In terms of mastery over Epic Power and combat experience, Herbert simply wasn’t on the level.

Are they omnipotent creators? Or emotionless, desireless embodints of rules? Unspeakable anomalies? Or the anchors of the Spirit World?
The forr world offered many explanations, a hundred schools of thought contending, each holding their own view.
But for the beings of this world, there is only one answer.
Deities are beings with long lives, terrifying power, and thousands of years to squander at will.
They dwell on the clouds, overlooking the mortal realm.
Endless years allow the deities to hone their specialized skills to invincible peaks in the world, achieving true Legendary status.
So long-lived Ancient Gods can even master multiple skills!
Among mortals, there are those who can match them in skill, reaching Legendary status through decades or rely years of cultivation.
But throughout history, such geniuses have been exceedingly rare.
Herbert, indeed a genius, is well-talented in all aspects, but he too has his limits.
He needs ti to train and adapt, it’s impossible to grasp Divine Level skills just by blinking and opening his eyes.
That’s not enlightennt, that’s simply cheating.
Herbert has also co to terms, hoping to rely directly on the Sect’s power to defeat his opponent.
But the "benevolent" deity only gave him power levels without proficiency.
At the mont, all Herbert can do is rely on the astonishing speed provided by his four wings, darting around like an agile monkey, occasionally throwing Holy Spears to impersonate a human catapult.
Very insulting, but the damage is genuinely not significant.
Herbert managed to successfully pin down the God of Sinful Desire, forcing Him to engage directly, rather than using other combat thods against him.
Of course, this is not without effect, as there are monts the God of Sinful Desire fails to dodge, suffering substantial injuries.
Yet the regenerative ability of this incarnation is simply too shocking; even if pierced by a Holy Spear, wounds heal swiftly after just a few breaths.
Those charred black skins burned by the Holy Fla crack open while moving, revealing underneath newly regenerated flesh.
Herbert realizes, after all, this can only delay montarily, it’s not a long-term plan.
