If he had been calm enough, he could have dealt with the current crisis, even if he would get injured, it wouldn’t be fatal. Unfortunately, he encountered a series of unexpected events, where could he find serenity? Even Wen Caishang was defeated without poise; had it not been for Li Xian’s support, she would have been captured long ago.

It’s rare to find soone who remains calm in adversity. Zhao Zhiyuan looked like a porcupine, with fourteen arrows in his chest, thirty-seven arrows in his back, and nurous arrows in his thighs and arms...

He roared, "Kill...kill the adulterers!" and charged forward fiercely.

Li Xian and Wen Caishang used the Yin Yang Dual Swords, entangling and circumventing him. This swordsmanship combined strength and gentleness, the more desperate the enemy, the harder it was to counter.

After a brief entanglent, the second chanism was triggered. The eyes of the Four Saints Sculptures spewed fire, scorching the area.

Zhao Zhiyuan had once been burned at Luofang Mountain, disfiguring his skin. He had just recovered not long ago and was burned tragically again. He had lost his rationality and was flailing wildly.

He accidentally triggered a chanism, causing sharp poison spikes to erge from the ground and pierce his feet, leaving him bloody and unrecognizable!

Li Xian and Wen Caishang exchanged a glance, seeing him as a cornered beast. They silently avoided him, intending to escape the cave. Zhao Zhiyuan suddenly regained his senses and lunged at them, determined to capture at least one!

Li Xian unleashed the Jade Palm, with Inner Qi surging, to slow Zhao Zhiyuan’s advance. Holding Wen Caishang tightly, he jumped out of the Four Saints Cave. Wen Caishang flicked pebbles, activating another chanism within the cave.

The cave entrance slamd shut.

A rumbling "sound of water" echoed from within. This was the third chanism of the Four Saints Cave, closing the cave door and flooding it with "lead rcury." Wen Caishang, knowing it was hopeless, originally intended to activate this chanism to drag more down with her.

Unexpectedly saved, she instead trapped Zhao Zhiyuan inside, subjecting him to more injuries and the imrsion of lead rcury. Li Xian furrowed his brow and retracted his heavy pupils, his pupils aligning into one. In truth, having heavy pupils and strange eyes was his normal state; his single pupil appearance was a deliberate disguise.

He breathed heavily. The recent fierce battle was truly terrifying; any slight misstep would have led all three to perish in the cave!

Li Xian spoke seriously, "Let’s go! I’m severely injured. If we encounter them again, I’ll be unable to handle it!" Wen Caishang softly said, "Li Lang, follow ...I know a way to leave this tomb!"

Li Xian’s shoulder was pierced by a sword, using Blood Solidification and Aperture Closure to slow the injury. But each step caused excruciating pain, with a fractured shoulder bone making it difficult to raise his hand after escaping danger.

Wen Caishang gently tended to his injuries, filled with endearing tenderness. She felt imnse gentleness and affection, thinking how such a gifted man of ancient talents did so much for her. Her joy surpassed the countless dangers along the way.

Throughout her life, she had the highest regard for the strong. Li Xian’s formidable spirit captivated her deeply. At this mont, his displayed talent subtly conquered her. She thought such a man was hard to find throughout history. Yet he was by her side at that mont.

However, they were still in danger, and various emotions were kept in check. The two fled along the path, using their familiarity with the tomb to navigate, hide, and evade searches.

Half a day’s ti passed.

Both were already weary. Li Xian’s healing ability was strong, with a Pure Yang Body brimming with energy and blood coursing like a dragon, yet Zhao Zhiyuan’s palm strike was deeply infused with Palm Qi, intensely powerful, and lingered for a long ti. Li Xian chuckled, "My lady, if we encounter the enemy again, we’ll end up being buried with them!"

Wen Caishang softly replied, "If it truly cos to that, there’s nothing we can do."

The two fled hand in hand. Suddenly, urgent footsteps sounded, and soone approached from the front. In the vast tomb, they were more likely foes than friends. Li Xian, without much thought, looked around and saw a tomb chamber, pulling Wen Caishang inside to hide.

They lifted a coffin and hid inside.

This place was the "Good Craftsman Room."

The tomb’s construction took decades, with many craftsn dying from exhaustion. They were buried here. During the Nanyang Period, countries were in turmoil, and people suffered greatly. Human sacrifices were not uncommon, and Lv Dongzhi, free from worldly concerns, provided a resting place for craftsn, showing true enlightennt.

Li Xian and Wen Caishang hid inside a "Master Craftsman’s" coffin.

The corpse inside had already turned into a skeleton.

The two pressed close together, listening intently to the movents outside.

"Ah, the Good Craftsman Room is only filled with craftsn; there’s no treasure. Let’s move on!"

The voice belonged to "Su Qiuyu."

"Wait! These corpses might be useful to . You, you, you, help open the coffins and see if there are any uncorrupted bodies. If so, drag them out!"

This voice belonged to Shen Pingping.

It turned out everyone was scattered throughout the tomb, yet in their wandering, unexpectedly encountered each other again. They traveled together, also searching for the tomb’s map and its treasures.

The map was with Li Xian, ensuring they would never find it.

Wen Caishang felt a pang of anxiety. Li Xian frowned, hearing a "boom" as a coffin lid was opened.

Given the situation, the two would definitely be discovered. Even with the "Yin Yang Immortal Lovers Sword," they could not escape the fate of being captured alive.

Li Xian had a sudden idea, quietly employing "Vast Leg" and "Jade Palm," creating a misty white fog. Then he released the Blood Solidification and Aperture Closure, dispersing the blood into the fog, spraying it with toxins, disguising it as a blood mist poisonous gas chanism. Then he propped the skeleton over them, hiding beneath it.

Doing so might allow them to deceive the enemy.

Soon, footsteps approached. Two disciples from Taixin Sect and Sword Rain Tower exchanged a glance and jointly lifted a coffin. When the coffin lid was pushed open by half an inch, red mist imdiately wafted out. Inhaling even a whiff caused dizziness and discomfort.

The two disciples exchanged a glance, dared not open it further, hurriedly closed the lid, and moved on to other coffins in search.

Eventually, they found three uncorrupted corpses. The two disciples carried the corpses out, but dared not ntion the "blood mist" situation. They knew these people were ruthless, and if it were a real chanism, they’d be forced to test it personally.

Shen Pingping said, "Not bad, the harvest is decent."

Suddenly, footsteps sounded again, and a young voice called out, "Masters, quick...quick! Elder Zhao has discovered the whereabouts of that treacherous woman and has her cornered. Please hurry to assist!"
