What is this?!
Seeing the massive creature swooping down from the clouds, Cornelia was taken aback and quickly stepped aside. As a commander, she had considered various situations on the battlefield, but this certainly didn't include a "creature descending from the sky to attack her" scenario that seed as fantastical as a fairy tale!
The creature, having missed its attack, didn't pay Cornelia any mind. Instead, it continued to dive downward, appearing as if it intended to crash into the ground. Seeing this, Cornelia was quite surprised. She instinctively maneuvered her cha backward, and then watched as the peculiar creature dived down, spun around, and landed steadily in the square not far from the Governor's Office.
And there was......
"Damn it!"
Watching the knight in silver armor leap onto the back of this peculiar creature, Cornelia's expression changed dramatically. She wasn't a fool; even if she was the most clueless person around, she knew what the other side intended!
At that mont, the strange creature let out a roar and charged towards Cornelia and her group once more.
"Quick, gather the Imperial Guard, eliminate that bizarre creature!"
Although Cornelia had many questions deep inside, like what exactly this thing was or why it had appeared, as a commander, she didn't need to consider the questions that biologists and mystics should be concerned with. She only knew one thing—that this bizarre creature was her enemy, an ally of the opposition!
And knowing that was enough for Cornelia!
However, unlike Cornelia who was left bewildered, the soldiers of the Restoration Army held their breath upon seeing the mysterious appearance from the sky. After a mont, they threw their hands up in cheers!
"The Divine Dragon has appeared! The Divine Dragon bless us!!"
Though Zeqidun established an exiled Japanese governnt in the Chinese Federation, it wasn't as if his soldiers spontaneously generated from nowhere. In fact, these soldiers were actually sent by the Chinese Federation, rely disguised as the exiled Japanese governnt's soldiers.
As people of the Chinese Federation, they were undoubtedly familiar with their nation's mythology, and as descendants of dragons, how could they not be familiar with the existence of dragons?
So when these soldiers clearly saw the Divine Dragon descending from the sky, their first reaction was one of disbelief. They slapped themselves a few tis before abruptly raising their hands high in cheer.
It's a Divine Dragon! Their ancestral totem!
Now, with the appearance of this Divine Dragon, what does it signify?
It ans that their battle is undoubtedly won!
Seeing Fang Zheng leap onto the back of the Divine Dragon and soar into the sky, the soldiers of the Restoration Army couldn't help but shout loudly.
"Long live the Chinese Federation! Long live His Majesty! Long live His Highness Fang Zheng!!"
Amidst the excited cheers and shouts, the Restoration Army on the ground once again launched a fierce attack against the Britannian Empire's cha units, as if everyone had suddenly been buffed with a " 10% All-Attributes" boost. Though it wasn't quite at the level where they could kill gods or Buddhas if obstructed, it wasn't far off!
At the sa ti, Fang Zheng, riding on the Divine Dragon, charged towards the Britannian Army in the sky.
Naturally, this Divine Dragon was not a real dragon, but an "Elite Unit" Fang Zheng had Niadra modify based on the Flying Serpent. For the Swarm, creating such an appearance wasn't difficult.
As for why it could fly without wings?
Psionic energy is sothing that's hard to explain to you.
"Imperial Guard, prepare defenses, attack!!"
Seeing Fang Zheng and the dragon charging at them, even Cornelia felt a little nervous; after all, it was her first ti encountering such an enemy. Facing the missiles flying in from all directions, Fang Zheng raised the Pitch Black Greatsword in his hand. Soon, dark purple lightning erged from the blade, jumping and entwining. Then, Fang Zheng gripped the Pitch Black Greatsword tightly in his right hand and swung it forward with force.

The next mont, Cornelia and the others saw a bright flash, as dazzling radiance from the lightning took everything before them. Lightning burst forth from Fang Zheng as the center, forming an impassable pool of thunder. Before the missiles could reach the Divine Dragon, they exploded under the lightning's impact, losing their threat.

"Long live the Divine Dragon!!"
Seeing this scene, the soldiers of the Chinese Federation cheered once again. At this mont, they no longer doubted that the Divine Dragon was truly the mythical Divine Dragon. After all, controlling clouds, mist, and lightning, soaring above the nine heavens, was a miracle only a Divine Dragon could perform!
