Order Activation Enhancent Device.
Looking at this mysterious little device before him, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but fall into deep thought. He had heard different nas for this thing from both the Cultist and the Lizard Man, but so far, the term "Order Activation Enhancent Device" was the most standard description of this mysterious little object’s utility to date.
At least compared to nas like "Secret Treasure," which leave people baffled, this one makes it easier to understand the characteristics of the device.
"Order Activation Enhancent Device......"
Staring at this little thing in the Reputation Market, Fang Zheng also furrowed his brow and began to ponder.
The na of this thing is quite straightforward: Order, Activation, Enhancent, Device. Fang Zheng had more or less guessed its purpose. In fact, he already knew what it was for.
According to Fina, the Goddess of Order fused the order into every soul here to protect the order of this land. So people might easily clear hell-difficulty instances and then leisurely parade around in T6 gear.
But so people get stuck at difficulty, wiped out, and even if soone carries them through the instance, they can’t get any equipnt.
Strength, perseverance, and luck are all indispensable.
However, in Fang Zheng’s view, this "Order Activation Enhancent Device" is essentially a top-up instant upgrade package. You only need to spend ninety bucks to buy a service, and with one click of the mouse, you can directly upgrade your character from level 1 to level 100.
To put it bluntly, this device works by injecting sothing into the body, forcibly awakening the dormant order within, unleashing its own power.
But, in the ga, characters need players to control them.
And in reality, no one knows what might happen if soone suddenly jumps to level 100.
In fact, just look at the Lizard Man who was injected with the Secret Treasure and the villager uncle who mutated in the endless Cultist ritual, and you can understand the cost of "instant upgrading."
They couldn’t control their own power and ultimately only faced destruction.
For Fang Zheng, this was a pleasant surprise. He never expected to find the answer he had been searching for in the System’s Reputation Market. Now it seed that the so-called "Secret Treasure" must be a product of a high-tech civilization, and that high civilization———undoubtedly hamred as the Goddess of Order.
Besides, Fang Zheng also saw so things in the Reputation Market that almost made his jaw drop.
Such as "Higher Dinsional Weapon," "Living tal," "Dyson Sphere"......each of these is simply perverse!
Unfortunately, Fang Zheng couldn’t use most of these because the Main World items require a minimum of "Respected" status to purchase, and Fang Zheng’s current reputation is only "Friendly."
Luckily, even though he couldn’t purchase them, the Product Catalog at least allowed Fang Zheng to figure out the situations of things he had previously found. For example, the Secret Treasure is the "Order Activation Enhancent Device," and the thing he found in the trench composed of countless nanoter-sized gadgets, capable of changing form at will, should be the so-called "Living tal."
As for whether the Main World itself is a Dyson Sphere.......it’s hard to say.
It seems that to continue uncovering the secrets of this world, Fang Zheng’s next step is to farm reputation.
However, farming reputation in the Main World is not easy. Fang Zheng has done quite a few things in the Main World, but his reputation is still just Friendly.
This is understandable, considering that from the past reputation gain observations, the higher the impact range, the higher the boost in reputation. Like in the ch World, where the cosmic civilization and human forces were on the brink of extinction by the Reapers, Fang Zheng stepped in to save them from destruction, naturally skyrocketing his reputation and favorability standing.
However, in the Main World, even though he stopped nurous disasters, these disasters.......are things that were happening even before Fang Zheng’s intervention. Just like opening the Gates of Hell and Devils attacking the surface again, similar events have happened before. There was no Fang Zheng back then, yet soone stopped it.
Moreover, in these events, Fang Zheng resolved them before they escalated, so no mass casualties occurred, and thus the general public didn’t feel particularly grateful to him———after all, they didn’t experience the pain firsthand.
If Fang Zheng wanted to farm reputation in the Main World, though, there might still be a way.
For instance, he could have the Swarm attack the Kingdom of Fla, causing its residents to suffer from the Swarm’s tornt, and just when they are in despair, send the Heavenly Dao Palace’s warships to rescue them.
This back and forth might raise quite a bit of reputation......
However, as a Paladin, Fang Zheng must at least keep his integrity.
More importantly, if soone uncovers what he’s doing, it might not just be a matter of not reaching "Respected," it might directly plumt all the way down to "Hostile" if the Goddess doesn’t intervene.
Maybe he could venture into so other business in the Main World?
But what kind of business could that be?
This also posed a challenge for Fang Zheng.
rcenaries are out of the question; Fang Zheng wouldn’t send his young girls under his command to die for others’ benefits. And when it cos to a re trading relationship, Heavenly Dao Palace seems to have no resources for trade......
Thinking about this, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but look up at the sky, then gaze at the Crystal Tower, floating amidst the clouds and slowly spinning.
No, maybe......there is sothing after all?
And at this mont, Fang Zheng suddenly sensed Mirune’s voice coming from the Swarm Network.
"Master......"
"What is it?"
Upon hearing the Insect Queen’s call, Fang Zheng collected his Spirit and asked. As the Swarm’s overseer, Mirune would not seek him out lightly under normal circumstances; her seeking him out signified sothing noteworthy.
"Soone has invaded our Swarm Territory on the Western Continent."
"Oh?"
Upon hearing this response, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow.
"Are those folks from the Kingdom of Fla itching for trouble?"
"The invaders are not human."
However, Mirune’s response sowhat surprised Fang Zheng.
"They call themselves......Devils."
