The Lust Demon attempted to entice the Swarm to build a teleportation gate to Hell within their territory, but Fang Zheng would never agree to such a request even if he lost his mind. Instead, he just gave the Lust Demon a......
"What is this?"
Looking at the small larva in front of her, the Lust Demon was bewildered.
"This is the foundation of our Swarm."
Niadra stared coldly at the Lust Demon and then spoke.
"As long as you take it back to Hell, our trade is complete."
What use is this tiny larva?
The Lust Demon frowned, scrutinizing the larva in front of her. It looked small and inconspicuous; she even suspected that any devil in Hell could crush it with a single step. What use could such a small thing have? If she took this back....... she might end up being laughed at by everyone.
But at the mont, there seed to be no better option.
On the surface, the devils’ powers were suppressed, and the Lust Demon was no exception. As a Lust Demon, she didn’t rely on power like other devils; she fought through charm, which was sowhat fortunate. Nevertheless, the Lust Demon was not foolish enough to believe she could forcibly change the minds of these terrifying creatures.
At that mont, a sudden and inexplicable thought appeared in the Lust Demon’s mind, a thought from an unknown source even to herself.
This peculiar creature might be liked by Lord Trastor if taken back. After all, Hell had never seen anything like it; it could be taken back as a specin..... Besides, these creatures don’t seem to be lying......
This was a thought completely against the Lust Demon’s logic, yet she inexplicably found it very reasonable. So after thinking for a mont, she was quickly persuaded by her own idea. She nodded, reached out to pick up the larva. The next instant, a bright red hexagram teleportation array appeared at her feet, and she disappeared into the air.
Seeing the Lust Demon leave, Niadra waved a tentacle to report to Fang Zheng.
"Master, she has left."
"I know."
Upon hearing Niadra’s report, Fang Zheng closed the "Ratziel", and at the sa ti, the feather pen in his hand vanished into the air --- modifying the thoughts of a low-level Lust Demon was a trivial matter for Fang Zheng, who possessed the Omniscient Angel.
The reason Fang Zheng wanted the Swarm to develop in Hell was partly to see if he could gain reputation there, and partly to investigate the history of the Main World.
According to the Codex record in the Sanctuary, the Main World is composed of several dinsions including Hell, the Abyss, the Main Dinsion, Heaven, and the Star Realm. But for so reason, Fang Zheng had never seen Heaven, he had never seen angels or divine envoys who should represent Heaven’s existence.
Even raising the "Goddess of Order" sign to bluff hasn’t made them appear.
On the other hand, devils and demons have been seen by Fang Zheng several tis, including the one he casually exterminated while doing the plaza dance in the Land of Wealth.
But at that ti they were enemies, so Fang Zheng couldn’t follow the enemy to Hell. Now, the appearance of the Lust Demon offered Fang Zheng a good opportunity. In fact, when the Lust Demon appeared, Fang Zheng had already conducted an investigation through "Ratziel".
That devil lord called Trastor was rely one among the countless fortress lords on the first level of Hell, not even considered middling. One of those at the bottom during final exams, hence being bullied. Such devil lords, even if exterminated, wouldn’t attract much notice, allowing Fang Zheng the chance for the Swarm to absorb the genes of devils and demons for enhancent......
Next, it depended on the delivery itself.
anwhile, the "delivery person" holding the larva had returned to Hell. She stood dazedly on the ground, gazing at the larva in her arms.
Only then did the Lust Demon realize sothing was amiss.
Wait, this wasn’t what we talked about, right? I wanted to bring back an army for Lord Stratus, but why did I bring back a larva?
Before the Lust Demon could react, she felt the larva in her arms suddenly struggle, and then with a "thud," it fell to the ground. The Lust Demon then saw the larva curl up, transforming into a giant egg......
"......This is......"
The Lust Demon was astonished, looking at the egg standing a person’s height. She approached with curiosity, reaching out to lightly tap on the eggshell. Then she saw the eggshell crack with a "snap," and a worker bee erged from it.
Has it...... evolved?
As a devil, the Lust Demon certainly understood evolution. In fact, all devils upgrade through the sa pathway, but it was much harder for them. They needed to devour many powerful souls and ensure their survival in bloody battles against demons.
That was very difficult.
Yet......the evolution of this creature seems to be of no use......
Looking at the worker bee swaying its head and tail in front of her, Lust Demon pouted. She had a feeling she had been tricked sohow, but just couldn’t figure out how.
Just as the Lust Demon gave up thinking and was about to reach out to grab the worker bee, she saw its body suddenly inflate like a balloon, quickly turning into a huge mass of flesh!
"Wow!!"
Upon witnessing this, Lust Demon was so startled that she blinked herself away, teleporting hundreds of ters back to hide behind a massive rock, cautiously observing the writhing, expanding lump of flesh not too far away.
What exactly is this?
Lust Demon felt increasingly uneasy. She glanced around and confird that this was indeed Lord Trastor’s territory. Currently, the lord hadn’t noticed anything strange here, but it probably wouldn’t be long before the patrol would discover it. By then, how should she explain this...? Or perhaps it was best to feign ignorance and keep her distance?
"Pop."
While Lust Demon was distracted with her thoughts, she saw the giant mass of flesh suddenly burst open, transforming into a tall structure resembling a building made of coagulated blood and flesh. Then, a swarm of larvae poured out from the passage below, starting to hatch again as worker bees, quickly transforming into various strange objects.
And Lust Demon watched as countless larvae crawled everywhere, swiftly turning into white insect eggs...
"This, this, this seems a little bad..."
In less than ten minutes, a base of the Swarm was quickly established. Lust Demon’s inner intuition increasingly felt wrong... This was completely different from what she had imagined!
"Ha, let’s see what we’ve found?"
While Lust Demon was inwardly anxious, suddenly, a voice ca from above. Lust Demon looked up, and saw a group of Devil Guards fluttering their ugly red wings, descending from the sky and encircling her. They were excitedly wide-eyed, their golden eyes flickering with evil radiance.
"A fresh chick? Why are you here, hmm?"
"Shut your mouth, insolent fool."
In response to the Devil Guard’s questioning, Lust Demon proudly puffed out her chest in contempt.
"I am Lord Trastor’s private pet! You dare to be rude to , do you know what the consequences might be?"
"Hmph..."
Upon hearing Lust Demon’s answer, the Devil Guard’s face slightly darkened.
"Just a chick, do you think Lord Trastor would care much, hmm?"
At that mont, the Devil Guard raised his head, looking behind Lust Demon.
"What’s that? Are they demons?"
"They’re the soldiers I’ve brought back to offer to Lord Trastor."
Now Lust Demon decided to risk it.
"You should imdiately inform Lord Trastor, they are quite useful warriors."
"Warriors? Based on these lowly creatures?"
Looking at the busy Swarm, the Devil Guard sneered, then strode forward and stomped on a larva rolling on the Fungal Carpet.
"These lowly worms think they can serve Lord Trastor? Their only fate is to beco our dinner, although who knows if these worms taste any good..."
"Pfft."
A sharp, vicious spike pierced through the Devil Guard’s head, penetrated through his eyeball, and erged from his eye socket, abruptly ending the unlucky fellow’s sentence.
A Hydralisk coldly glared at the Devil Guard, its eyes revealing the unique gaze of the Swarm.
"Attack, attack, kill those worms!"
Seeing their companion being attacked, the other Devil Guards were also taken aback, then hurriedly raised their weapons and charged at the Swarm in front of them.
Thus the battle began.
