The biggest question in Fang Zheng’s heart naturally was this.
Why did he co to this world in the form of a soul, and why did he inexplicably possess the ga system he was still developing? So far, Fang Zheng could only speculate that all of this might be related to the so-called Secret Treasure of the Goddess.
But how exactly was all of this accomplished?
Fang Zheng had no knowledge of this.
However, upon hearing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, the Goddess of Order rely adjusted her glasses.
"I don’t quite understand what you an, and I don’t know anything about a system or the Dinsional Codex..."
"Huh?"
Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng was completely baffled, but soon, the Goddess of Order continued speaking.
"However, based on your hypothesis, I believe you are asking about the Order Mark on your body."
"Order Mark?"
Fang Zheng lowered his head and looked at his body. He was sure there was no mark or tattoo on him. But at this mont, Fang Zheng suddenly thought of sothing.
"That’s right, the Secret Treasure!"
"......???"
"It’s that thing... what’s it called?"
Faced with the sowhat puzzled gaze of the Goddess of Order, Fang Zheng also furrowed his brows, gesturing wildly until he finally rembered the na.
"Order Activation Enhancent Device! It seems to be called that, right!!"
"Ah, I see..."
Upon hearing this, the Goddess of Order seed to finally understand sothing and nodded.
"I finally understand where the Order Mark on you cos from."
The Goddess of Order’s expression remained calm, almost like a robot.
"It’s a long story... so let’s start from the beginning... what do you think of this world?"
"Think of?"
"This world is composed of order, and because of the existence of order, life can survive. Stars, nebulae, everything is like this, all existence is influenced by the omnipresent order... what do you think of this statent?"
"Hmm... I think I can roughly understand what you an..."
Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng furrowed his brows. Although the words of the Goddess of Order were sowhat vague, Fang Zheng could roughly grasp the aning she wanted to convey. In fact, Fang Zheng had seen similar content before on the internet or in roadside magazines in his own world, which roughly suggested that the world we live in might have been created through strict calculation.
Generally, the idea is that if we use mathematics or so thod to asure data like the orbit of the Earth-Moon system, we would find there is an obvious pattern. Sotis, even a slight deviation might have prevented Earth from turning into the vibrant world it is today. This is also why many scientists search for God or similar entities in their later years, because there are so many of these "coincidences" that they hardly seem naturally ford and more like the product of an artificial creation.
After studying and researching, Fang Zheng did indeed discover similar patterns, but he didn’t care or pay much mind. The essence of this world was aningless to Fang Zheng; he’d rather spend the ti playing with cats and teasing dragons.
Perhaps in a few hundred years, when Fang Zheng is extrely bored, he might consider researching a similar topic.
However, the Goddess of Order did not say much to Fang Zheng; she simply continued speaking.
And as the Goddess of Order spoke, Fang Zheng gradually figured out so things.
As he suspected, the Goddess of Order ca from a very advanced civilization. Although Fang Zheng couldn’t possibly see this civilization system with his own eyes, he was sure this civilization was definitely a Level Zero civilization. They naturally possessed very powerful forces, capable of observing the rules of order and space that other races (including humans) could only detect with much effort.
And this civilization also developed its own religion, similar to that of the current Sanctuary, which can be simply summarized as "Order is supre, Order is strongest" and so on...
Because of this belief, this civilization developed a brilliant culture. They began to "organize" the order in this world, categorizing them, and simultaneously, this civilization began to use these forces to create new planets, new lives, new races.
However, during this process, the civilization discovered a problem.
Chaos variables.
At first, the civilization didn’t pay much attention to the chaos variables, thinking they were rely simple errors. But as ti went by, they realized the threat of the chaos variables grew larger. When the civilization realized the essence of the chaos variables, they imdiately felt fear.
The greatest characteristic of chaos variables is instability and unpredictability. Any slight change in initial conditions, magnified by chaos, could end up distorted and result in a vastly different outco. Because of the existence of chaos variables, many initially smooth plans ended in inexplicable failure, even producing a certain degree of negative impact.
For such an advanced civilization centered on "Order is supre," this was intolerable.
If it were humans, they might only shake their heads and sigh, saying "Man proposes, God disposes; it’s all fate." But as this advanced civilization had ntioned before, they were essentially equivalent to a creator of the universe, and they were naturally unwilling to watch such uncontrollable and dangerous things scamper around their world.
Initially, this civilization attempted to completely eliminate chaos variables, but they quickly realized this was impossible. So this civilization initiated a plan.
They tried to forcibly separate chaos from order, then protect order and eliminate chaos!
And it was this decision that brought about a calamity.
At first, the civilization’s actions did indeed succeed, but unfortunately, they were not creators of this universe, and the power of chaos far exceeded their imagination. Even more deadly, chaos was originally randomly distributed, and its threat was not very significant. But this civilization "compressed" the randomly distributed chaos together, causing the power of chaos to suddenly surge, ultimately triggering a disaster that affected the entire universe.
Chaos Tide.
The chaotic power compressed to the limit exploded completely, devouring the entire universe. That creator civilization was the first to be destroyed, and other civilizations were also completely consud by chaos.
Being a mber of this civilization, the Goddess of Order naturally fled desperately and ultimately escaped to this planet.
And it was here that the Goddess of Order encountered the humans who "coexisted" with chaos.
In fact, within that civilization, there had always been a theory that chaos and order were not naturally opposed but were mutually dependent. The Goddess of Order was also a supporter of this theory, so after discovering this precious planet, the Goddess of Order imdiately made a decision.
She planned to conduct an experint.
An experint to verify whether that theory was correct.
So she descended upon this world, and what followed was the sa as recorded in the scriptures of the Sanctuary. The Goddess drove away the chaos, creating day and night, the four seasons, and the lengths of ti for the world’s life. She then created multilayer dinsional spaces around this planet as the core, placing all of her creations brought from other worlds that had fled together in this little haven. Then the Goddess completely sealed this haven in another dinsional space to avoid the invasion and impact of chaos.
"... As for the Order Mark, it is a unique tool of our civilization. It allows us to perceive, experience, and use the power of order. Of course, since the order base point of each existence is different, the manifestation of the Order Mark is also different. What you ntioned about a system or a codex is very likely a product manifested by the Order Mark leveraging the order base point you are most proficient in and comfortable with deep in your heart."
"Since it’s unique to your civilization, why would it work for ?"
At this point, Fang Zheng finally had a rough understanding of the whole story but was still a bit puzzled.
"After arriving in this world, the first-generation Goddess of Order also attempted to grant the Order Marks of her civilization to the life forms of this world, but the life forms of this world were too fragile. Although she created an activation device for the Order Marks, several attempts to connect them failed. So, in the end, the first-generation Goddess abandoned these..."
"Wait, you said... what is this?"
"Abandoned tools."
The Goddess of Order adjusted her glasses again, her expression unchanged.
"Tools that were deed unqualified and failed to et requirents, so they were discarded."
".........."
Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng was completely speechless.
