"Take sothing away?"
At this mont, Aika was also full of interest. She pondered for a mont and then looked at Fang Zheng.
"Father Master, what do you want to take away?"
"That one, over there."
Fang Zheng glanced around, then set his sights on the pen holder on a desk in an office not far below.
"If you can take that without alerting anyone, I will reward you, but I must remind you, it’s not easy."
"I understand, Father Master. Leave it to ."
At this mont, Fang Zheng clearly saw the anticipation and excitent in Aika’s eyes. This might be the first ti the girl embarked on a mission with an unknown outco since she was born. Previously, whatever she did would yield imdiate results. But now she finally felt an unprecedented sense of tension.
"Hoo... Ha..."
Aika took a deep breath, and then Fang Zheng saw her softly casting a piece of magecraft on herself. Afterward, Aika stood up, walked out from her hiding place, and proceeded down the corridor.
Along the way, Aika brushed past several researchers, but none of them noticed her presence. This was quite normal; most magicians in the Type Moon World have magecraft to "banish the idle," and Aika is no exception. However, soon enough, she encountered opposition.
"Da da da da!!"
The sound of urgent footsteps arose, and soon, a group of heavily ard soldiers wielding firearms ca rushing over from the other side. They approached Aika, glancing around as if searching for sothing. But clearly, they found nothing—Aika’s magecraft perfectly shielded their senses. However, unfortunately, Fang Zheng already knew Aika had failed.
Looking at the soldiers ahead, Aika curiously blinked her eyes and then changed direction, attempting to bypass them. But, unexpectedly, as she moved, the soldiers seed to receive so sort of instruction and once more blocked her path, and... raised their guns.
"I don’t know what you’ve done, little girl! But we know you’re there. Now, imdiately remove those peculiar tricks of yours, raise your hands, and place them behind your head! Otherwise, we’ll attack!"
"Ah?"
Upon hearing this, Aika widened her eyes in shock, gently covering her mouth with her hand in surprise while staring at the soldiers ahead. Clearly, Aika wasn’t a fool; she understood she had been discovered.
But what was happening? How could she be discovered?
The magecraft was perfectly executed, and there were no other magicians or magecraft barriers here either, right?
Indeed.
Seeing Aika’s bewildered face, Fang Zheng shook his head. He clearly understood why Aika had been discovered. Although Aika’s "suggestion" had deceived everyone here, she couldn’t deceive the machines.
Specifically, the caras.
In fact, according to Fang Zheng, even if Aika passed through the corridor, she wouldn’t be able to complete the task he assigned her. Because, at the end of the corridor, the security doors require fingerprint and iris appraisal for access. Not to ntion, there’s infrared scanning equipnt inside. Although magicians in the Type Moon World are strong, when facing modern technology, they’re often powerless.
"Raise your hands imdiately! Remove these strange tricks!"
A Black soldier had already strode out from the lineup, holding a gun aid at Aika as he cautiously moved toward her. It was clear soone on the other side of the monitor was instructing him on how to proceed.
So, how would Aika respond?
This was also what Fang Zheng was curious and concerned about. Aika had clearly realized her task had failed, so what would she do?
At that mont, Fang Zheng noticed Aika retreating a few steps, then turning to look at him, seemingly seeking help. But Fang Zheng gestured to Aika to solve it herself. He wanted to see what this link to the Origin would do without its protection.
Aika clearly understood Fang Zheng’s gesture. She took a deep breath and raised her hand...
"Beep beep—beep beep—!"
Suddenly, a piercing alarm sounded, breaking the initial silence.
Simultaneously, the chanical alarm began to echo.
"Warning, a fatal anomaly has occurred at the NBE-01 landing area, all personnel please evacuate imdiately, warning..."
What’s happening?
Hearing this alarm, Fang Zheng was also shocked, and the soldiers seed to receive so command, quickly turning and running desperately toward the end of the corridor. Watching them leave, Aika hesitated slightly before returning to Fang Zheng’s side.
"Father Master, they left."
"I know... Let see what’s going on."
As he spoke, Fang Zheng activated his personal terminal and swiftly hacked into the secret base’s information network. Quickly, a scene appeared that surprised him imnsely.
Displayed on the screen, a robot was encased in thick ice layers, awakening gradually. It frantically swung its arms, banishing and slaughtering nearby humans, then charged to the other side of the hangar. There, a giant stone block shimred with faint radiance...
It seems the plot has advanced to gatron awakening... Hold on, sothing’s off!
Watching the monitor footage, Fang Zheng suddenly froze, realizing sothing was amiss. In the movie, Bumblebee should have already shrunk and taken away the Fire Seed. But why is the Fire Seed still here?
Where is the protagonist? Where’s Bumblebee? Where’s Optimus Pri? Where have all the Autobots gone?
What kind of ssed-up storyline is this??
As Fang Zheng pondered over this, gatron successfully seized the Fire Seed and charged out of the hangar.
"Boom!!"
Next mont, the wall near Fang Zheng shattered, and he saw gatron rushing out like an untad horse. It swiftly transford into a shape resembling a cosmic fighter jet and, with a roar, directly dashed out of the tunnel, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
"Amazing... Was that a Decepticon just now?"
Standing beside Fang Zheng, tightly holding onto his arm, Aika gazed in surprise at gatron’s retreating figure, and Fang Zheng gave a slight nod.
"Yes, he’s gatron, the leader of the Decepticons, but..."
What’s going on?
Has the storyline taken another detour?
