Looking at Fang Zheng before him, the Chaos Knight stood silently.

He had never encountered such an enemy, not because of Fang Zheng’s strength — many powerful beings had battled against the Chaos Knight Order throughout history, and he had led his n to kill many foes even stronger than Fang Zheng. However, this young man was different.

What exactly was different, he couldn’t say,

but he didn’t care. After all, at this mont, this man was the greatest obstacle in his plan, and he was determined to eliminate him at all costs.

Coincidentally, Fang Zheng felt the sa way.

He didn’t care what plans the Chaos Knight before him had. His goal was to sweep through the Twilight Frontier, allowing the power of Order to return to this land. For this, the chaotic lackey before him must die — it was that simple. So he raised the greatsword in his hand and coldly stared at his opponent.

There was nothing more to say; they had said all there was to say last ti. Different ideologies, different values an talking was futile — a battle to the death; the survivor is the truth, for dead n cannot argue.

It’s like if there was only one Copernicus on Earth; once he died, he’d be gone, and no one would care about heliocentrism.

This is why Fang Zheng scoffs at the naive thoughts of so people in the ch World; mutual understanding is aningless — when it’s ti to fight, fight; when it’s ti to kill, kill. Do the Church people truly not know that the Earth revolves around the Sun, or are they pretending not to? Does it make a difference to humans whether the Earth orbits the Sun or vice versa?

Of course, there is, because if the Sun orbits the Earth, they get paid.

But if the Earth orbits the Sun, they don’t get paid.

When interests are involved, truth becos insignificant.

Fang Zheng safeguards the interests of Order; he doesn’t care about the deep hatred the man before him harbors from the Church slaughtering his family hundreds of years ago. He won’t persuade him to uphold justice. Chaos must be extinguished, and this man, a lackey of Chaos, has only one path — death.

Fang Zheng’s house, woman, money, power, strength, and everything all co from Order, so he’s naturally willing to protect the world of Order from harm. Just like missionaries in the Middle Ages, not caring whether the Sun really revolves around the Earth, but knowing that such talk would cost him his livelihood, collapse the Church’s beliefs, leave him without food, starve his wife and children, and strip believers of spiritual faith, burning him on the stake...

So he must burn them on the stake.

It’s that simple.

Of course, arguing who is Copernicus and who is the missionary is aningless now, as even in the 21st century, so schools still oppose teaching Evolution, claiming it violates Creationism.

Copernicus has been dead for so many years, yet people online ardently support flat Earth theory, forming the Flat Earth Society, holding steadfast to their beliefs — their devotion no less than Copernicus burning on the stake.

If the Church still had the authority for fire punishnt, perhaps one could see warriors dying on the stake, shouting "The Earth is flat, the rulers are deceiving you!"

Whether they’ll make it into textbooks centuries later — that remains unknown.

Thus it is evident, there’s no unchanging truth, regardless of technological civilization’s advancent. Truth is not singular nor eternal but is constantly moving, changing, even contradicting.

Simply put, whatever you believe, that becos reality.

Fang Zheng tightened his grip on the greatsword, staring at the Chaos Knight before him. anwhile, the opposing knight was mounted on a Unicorn, holding a long spear and shield — their last battle was a draw, but this ti, it’s clearly a fight to determine victory and survival.

Only one of them would stay here, and Fang Zheng was sure it wouldn’t be him.

As for the outco, let strength decide!

Fang Zheng’s body slightly moved, producing streams of Magic Radiance from him, forming barriers, transforming flesh into an impregnable fortress within seconds. Then Fang Zheng extended his left hand forward, releasing hundreds of azure Magic Missiles, hurtling towards the Chaos Knight and the Unicorn.

Normally, the Chaos Knight wouldn’t even need to dodge these Magic Missiles, but now, with Fang Zheng’s protagonist Destiny from Another World bolstering him, his "Chaos Force Field" was incompatible with the attacks, prompting the Chaos Knight to pull the reins, his Unicorn swiftly turning like a supersonic jet, making a sharp angle to distance from the Magic Missiles, becoming a tiny dot within miles.

Yet, Fang Zheng didn’t care; his right hand gripped the sword, while his left sketched swiftly in the air, with Magic Runes silently appearing and vanishing.

anwhile, the Magic Missiles kept chasing the Chaos Knight like rattlesnake missiles, although their speed clearly lagged behind the Unicorn, being swiftly outpaced.

For a mont, almost everyone thought the Chaos Knight had escaped far beyond.

But just when this thought arose, the Chaos Knight had already appeared behind Fang Zheng, riding the Unicorn, lunging his long spear silently at Fang Zheng’s back.

The Protective Barrier of Magic shimred, simultaneously, a massive golden Magic Fist erged from the void, crashing towards the Chaos Knight’s spear tip.

Both sides clashed rcilessly, the golden giant Magic hand shattering like glass, disappearing, while the Chaos Knight’s form wavered, retreating.

Only at this mont did the supersonic explosion sound burst loudly, sharp enough to pierce eardrums.

Fang Zheng’s speed was also quick, almost just slightly slower; quickly, he turned, gripping the sword, slashing at the Chaos Knight. At the very instant the Chaos Knight was diverted by the Magic Iron Fist, the pitch-black greatsword, ablaze, swung down decisively.

The Chaos Knight, unfazed, raised his shield, eting Fang Zheng’s greatsword.

"Dong!!"

The pitch-black greatsword struck the sturdy shield, the sheer force causing the Chaos Knight and the Unicorn to sink downward, grateful for being airborne, else it might have buried the Chaos Knight beneath earth.

Nonetheless, it had been blocked!

"Huff!!"

While blocking Fang Zheng’s attack, the Chaos Knight resolutely thrust his long spear towards Fang Zheng again. Simultaneously, Fang Zheng’s originally free left hand lifted upwards, and a silver dagger instantly appeared in his hand, sweeping up to intercept the approaching spear.

"Clang!!"

The silver dagger and spear clashed, emitting a shrill tallic screech. The Chaos Knight’s body trembled slightly, then sank downwards.

At the sa mont, Fang Zheng did not relax in the slightest, and with a flick of his greatsword, he directly aid at the Chaos Knight’s heart.

"———————!!"

Just then, the unicorn beneath the Chaos Knight suddenly let out a sharp scream, raising its head, the horn on its forehead catching Fang Zheng’s greatsword blade. It then jerked its head forcefully, causing Fang Zheng’s pitch black greatsword to sweep past the Chaos Knight’s body without hitting its target.

"You again."

Gazing at the unicorn in front of him, Fang Zheng squinted his eyes. He had suffered greatly under this unicorn’s feet before; it wasn’t just a simple mount for the Chaos Knight but seed more like a partner, able not only to assist but also to protect him.

Fang Zheng actually didn’t know much about the specific details concerning this Chaos Knight, but knowing the enemy was once a Holy Spirit Knight under the divine favor of the Goddess, so skills seed natural.

But I’m also a Holy Spirit Knight!

Moreover... is it fair for two to fight one?

However, we’re not alone in this battle either!

Seeing his sword miss the mark, Fang Zheng wasn’t angered; instead, his eyes flashed with a smug expression, followed by a shouted command.

"Attack!"

"Bang!"

Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, followed by a cry of pain as a large blood spray burst from the unicorn’s head. The Lap Magnum bullet’s tip spun, tearing into its flesh like a savage beast plunging into its wound.

The next mont, the unicorn howled and retreated. anwhile, Fang Zheng advanced, swinging his sword forcefully towards the Chaos Knight!

Faced with the unstoppable strike, the unicorn made a choice; it suddenly turned back, bit the Chaos Knight’s hand, then with a powerful swing, flung the Chaos Knight far away. Simultaneously, Fang Zheng’s pitch black greatsword reached the unicorn, cleaving into its skull!

"—————————!!!"

The intense pain filled the unicorn with rage, as it let out a piercing screech, lowered its head, charging forward with Fang Zheng’s blade against his chest. Fang Zheng clutched the hilt of the pitch black greatsword tightly, pressing it down with force, and roared fiercely!

"Restia!!"

With Fang Zheng’s call, the pitch black greatsword erupted with a series of dark lightning, enveloping the unicorn in flas. Feeling the pain deep in its soul, the unicorn scread repeatedly, yet it didn’t slow its pace. Pouring all its remaining life and strength into the attack, it sacrificed everything to protect its master and eliminate his enemies!

"Screeeeeeech—————!!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"

Under the searing heat of the Primordial Fire, cracks began to appear on the unicorn’s hard skull. Then Fang Zheng let out a loud roar, gripping the sword and swinging it forward!!

"Slash!!!"

The next mont, the charging unicorn was cleaved in half by Fang Zheng, its body igniting into flas, its bifurcated corpse flew to either side of Fang Zheng, spilling innards and blood, then explosively combusting in the fire!

"Bang!!"

The explosion, like a firework, illuminated the sky.

Fang Zheng swung his sword, coldly staring ahead as the Chaos Knight recovered, staring at the explosive flicker, then dying flas, he exhaled deeply, tossing away his spear and shield, drawing a pure white blade from his waist.

"Today, only one of us can leave here."

The Chaos Knight then spoke softly.

"That person won’t be you."

Fang Zheng snorted lightly, raising his pitch black greatsword at the Chaos Knight before him.

"You and your mutt are on the path of death."

With those words, a brief silence ensued.

Then, light and shadow flashed.

The earth and sky divided once more.
