Logically speaking, a group of idols playing on the beach in swimsuits should easily draw a crowd.
But in reality, no one seed to pay much attention to them, maybe because... they’re still not very famous.
But it’s also good this way. Once they beco famous, coming out to the beach for a playti might require renting a private beach, and being careful of paparazzi. Days of carefree fun like today might beco a thing of the past.
But that’s a concern for the future. At least for now, the girls don’t have to worry about these issues.
Hikari Onaba and Kikuchi Makoto were busy having a swimming race, while Iori and Yayoi got pulled into a water fight by the twins, and Haruka was leading ixi and the others in a ga of water polo. Under the bright sumr sun, everyone was having a great ti.
After a day of fun, the girls checked into a five-star hotel by the beach — well, the local guesthouse next to it.
Funds were tight, and having a place to stay was already pretty good.
The girls didn’t mind, laughing and giggling as they put down their stuff before heading off to take a bath. Though it was a cheap guesthouse, it did have a hot spring. Although not a mixed bath... well, it obviously couldn’t be a mixed bath, right?
Fang Zheng cleaned up a bit and then leisurely soaked into the hot spring.
But not long after, he heard the door slide open, and then Sora peeked in, wrapped in a bath towel, grinning.
"Yo, brother, I’m here."
"The female bath is next door."
"I know."
As she spoke, Sora stuck out her tongue and slipped skillfully into the hot spring, snuggling up beside Fang Zheng.
"I’m here to learn swimming."
"Learning to swim in the hot spring? Aren’t you afraid of being seen?"
"Of course not."
Sora seed quite calm in response to Fang Zheng’s inquiry.
"After all, it’s just us in this guesthouse, right?"
As Sora ntioned, the entire guesthouse was occupied by the 765 crew. It wasn’t that they splurged to book the whole place; other guests with money preferred the hotel next door, leaving this small inn unfrequented.
Clearly, Sora wasn’t here just to learn swimming.
"So how are you planning to learn?"
Curious, Fang Zheng asked while looking at the Sora beside him. She responded with a aningful smile.
"The first step in swimming is learning to hold your breath."
With that, Sora took a deep breath and subrged under the water.
Soon, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow, then closed his eyes.
"Whoosh!"
At this mont, the wooden door suddenly swung open with a "whoosh".
"Producer!"
"ixi?"
Seeing ixi wrapped in a bath towel, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but feel surprised.
"The female bath is next door."
"Oh, I know... Producer, have you seen Sora?"
"Why are you looking for her?"
"I didn’t see her in the female bath..."
"So you ca here looking?"
Fang Zheng found ixi’s straightforwardness quite overwhelming, though her instinct was surprisingly accurate...
"Seems she isn’t here."
ixi appeared indifferent to gender differences, even poking her head in to scan the whole hot spring, then murmured before playfully waving to Fang Zheng.
"Well then, I’m off, Producer."
Having said that, ixi humd a tune and skipped off towards the female bath.
"Whoosh!"
A mont later, Sora suddenly erged from the hot spring, her throat moving as if swallowing, then she wiped her mouth and showed an expression of surprise.
"Brother, I found I can breathe underwater!"
"Not surprising, you’re a Dragonborn now."
Fang Zheng remained calm, explaining that as part of the Dragon Race, especially being Enchanted of a Ti Dragon, the highest Rank of Dragon Species, the Ti Dragon had the strongest adaptability to any environntal change. Fang Zheng had even once lurked in the asteroid belt in the vacuum of Halo World universe, feeling only the cold as the Black Dragon River and nothing else.
So clearly, water poses no problem. Not to ntion this is a re two-ter-deep hot spring, even if Sora ventures into the depths of the Mariana Trench, it would be fine; matters like water pressure and oxygen need no concern at all... Well, being idle is the worst, perhaps it’s worth visiting the trench for a spin?
Might even discover ancient civilizations’ relics or an alien base.
"Really?"
Upon hearing this, Sora’s eyes glead as if thinking of sothing, then she quickly turned away and subrged again, popping back up with excitent.
"Brother, let’s play a ga, how about hide and seek? See if you can catch , this rmaid!"
With that, Sora dove into the hot spring again, disappearing from sight.
"Interesting."
Watching this, Fang Zheng’s lips curled into a smile.
"Once I catch you, let’s see how I’ll deal with this playful little one!"
As he spoke, Fang Zheng too plunged into the water and vanished. After a while, the once calm hot spring started to shake, waves rocking back and forth, splashing against the edges with a "pata-pata" sound...
When the girls finished their hot spring dip and joyfully returned to their room, they found Sora already seated at the table in a bathrobe, sipping on a drink.
"Sora? Where did you go?"
"I went to take a bath."
In response to the inquiries, Sora cheerfully waved her drink. Her words rang true and the softness of her long hair and the fragrance she exuded confird it.
"Why didn’t we see you in the hot spring?"
Curious, Haruka asked, and Sora’s eyes twinkled.
"I found a nice spot, it was really comfy."
"Really? Why didn’t you tell us about the good spot?"
Upon hearing this, the other girls quickly crowded around.
"Where, where?"
"If you want to go, I’ll bring you next ti."
"Definitely!"
"Hmm?"
At that mont, Hikari Onaba, who was close to Sora, suddenly sniffed the air.
"Sora, what’s that sll?"
"Uh? Sll? What sll?"
Sora’s eyes flashed a hint of panic but she quickly hid it.
"There’s no sll on ?"
"Really?"
Confused by Sora’s answer, Hibiki scratched her head.
"Hmm... maybe I was mistaken..."
