Ti was up.

Fang Zheng stood up, gazing at the sea before him. It was mid-afternoon, yet the ocean had taken on a feeling of an impending storm, with brooding clouds and ceaseless, rolling waves. It seed to foreshadow that what was to co would not be so easy. The gale howled past, mixed with sounds like the roar of a gigantic beast.

Well then, let’s begin.

With that thought, Fang Zheng spread his wings, and with a vigorous flap, he soared into the sky towards the depths of the sea.

"Where is it going?"

Observing the sudden departure of the Giant Dragon, both the followers of the Divine Dragon Sect and the base staff were startled. Before this, Fang Zheng had been sleeping on the tarmac, giving off the sa vibe as those dragons in fantasy novels that spent their days lying in their lairs. But now it had suddenly sprung into action, surprising many.

Soon, several fighter jets took off from Hong Kong Base, trailing closely behind Fang Zheng. However, not long after, they were astonished to find that Fang Zheng’s destination was not just anywhere but the Wormhole at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean!!

Upon learning this news, everyone was quite shocked. While they had already guessed that the reason for the Giant Dragon’s appearance was to deal with the Blossom Beasts, since no such beast had appeared in the interim, they thought Fang Zheng planned to wait it out and dispose of the Blossom Beasts when they showed up. However, it had gone to the Wormhole instead? Could it be that this Giant Dragon had a way to close that Wormhole?

With this thought, many were overco with excitent. In truth, they had thought more than once about destroying the Wormhole. Unfortunately, their ans of attack were of no use. Could it be that this Giant Dragon had a way to destroy the Wormhole?

Commander Pandacos was also extrely excited at this mont, hurrying to the command center and issuing orders to the pilots ahead.

"Hawkeye, this is the command center! Report the situation of that Giant Dragon imdiately!"

"Yes, Commander, it’s hovering right above the Wormhole, and I don’t know what it wants to do, but I think this might be so kind of... Oh, my God!"

But before the pilot could finish his sentence, his speech suddenly turned into an exclamation of surprise. Hearing this, everyone in the command hall instantly tensed up!

"What’s happening? Hawkeye, report imdiately!"

"This is Hawkeye, Commander, you wouldn’t believe what we’re seeing... I’m opening the live feed now!"

Quickly, the screen before the command hall flickered, and then, an image appeared. The Giant Dragon could be seen in the sky above the ocean, with its wings spread wide, hovering over the Wormhole. Around its body, countless glowing halos pulsated, rging into rings of mysterious Runes that, from afar, made it seem as though the Giant Dragon was casting so sort of magic.

"Hiss...!!"

Seeing this, everyone drew in a sharp breath. Even though they had known this Giant Dragon to be extraordinary, the power it was now exhibiting far exceeded the limits of their imagination. They did not know what the Giant Dragon intended to do, but everyone’s eyes were fixed intently on the screen.

Fang Zheng was unaware that his "mighty figure" was being broadcast, but he did not care. In this world, Fang Zheng had not triggered any missions. But, out of sympathy for these poor people who were constantly harassed by monsters, Fang Zheng was willing to lend them a hand.

However, Fang Zheng did not plan to destroy the Wormhole as they did in the movies since that would only be a temporary solution. Movies do it to set up a sequel, but in reality, no sane person would want to leave Earth vulnerable to an unknown race, waiting for them to occasionally send a monster to create an apocalypse on Earth.

Even if heroes could be mass-produced, it would still take ti, wouldn’t it?

So Fang Zheng decided to help this disaster-prone world one last ti before leaving, at the very least to eradicate any visible threats. As for whether other colossal creatures would appear in this world in the future, Fang Zheng couldn’t be sure. But he believed that under his "persuasion," humanity in this world would maintain a ntality of "being prepared even in peace," at least not neglecting unknown dangers due to a montary peace.

So... prepare to et your end!

"Boom!!!"

A bolt of lightning appeared out of nowhere, transforming into a spear from the clouds that pierced the entire ocean surface, plunging deep into the Wormhole. In the next mont, the sky and earth changed color, the winds and clouds transford, and the once-calming surface of the sea began to surge with waves. Then, the seawater churned and twisted as a vortex slowly erged...

"Commander, the Wormhole is experiencing anomalies!"

At the sa ti, in the command hall, alarms were sounding nonstop. Hearing his subordinates’ astonished cries, Commander Pandacos quickly stepped forward.

"What’s wrong? What’s happening with the Wormhole?"

"The Wormhole... it’s expanding!"

"What!?"

Hearing this, Commander Pandacos and others were taken aback. They had originally thought the Giant Dragon intended to destroy the Wormhole, but now it was actually enlarging the Wormhole? What in the world did it want to do? Could it be that this Giant Dragon was also part of the Aliens and had just been undercover here this whole ti? That couldn’t be it, but then how else could they explain its current actions?

"What should we do now, Commander?"

"We..."

At this point, Pandacos was at a loss for words as well. He, too, wanted to co up with a solution, but it was only then that Pandacos realized how little they knew about this Giant Dragon!

What could they do now? They were helpless! After all, the Giant Dragon had appeared so suddenly that, up to this point, they still did not know what it intended to do! From its previous deanor, it didn’t seem to want to attack humans, and besides, with the Giant Dragon’s abilities, if it wanted to confront humanity, it wouldn’t need such a grand display... So, what was its purpose? Could it be that sothing else was about to happen?

"Report, report!!"

But before Pandacos could figure out what to do, another scream erupted. On hearing the scream, Pandacos furrowed his brow once more.

"What now?"

"Large, unidentified life form detected by the near-Earth orbit satellite!!"

"What? Imdiately switch the screen over!!"

Hearing this, Pandacos felt a surge of alarm within him. He quickly issued a command, and soon, another screen swiftly switched over to a new feed, and then... a gigantic, pitch-black shadow lood before them.

The sight of this massive entity made almost everyone lose their voice.

"What is... that..."

"Analysis... the unidentified object is 16KM in length, 10KM in height, with signs of life..."

"You’ve got to be kidding ..."

Facing this colossal entity, Pandacos found himself speechless. Although he had seen many large monsters before, this one before his eyes totally exceeded his understanding. How had this monster appeared? How could it have suddenly shown up in Earth’s orbit? Just what was it? Wait, could it be...?

At that mont, Pandacos seed to have had an epiphany, startling him.

Could it be that this monster was summoned by the Giant Dragon? What does it want to do by summoning this terrifying beast?

"—————!!"

As if confirming the Commander’s speculation, hundreds of the imnse Flying Dragons erged from the side of the beast, flapping their wings as they entered the atmosphere and swooped downwards. Below them was— the Giant Dragon that called itself the Earth Guardian, along with the Wormhole that was slowly expanding!!

The diater of the Wormhole had already expanded to dozens of kiloters wide. The deep purple psionic energy swirled ceaselessly, anchoring this passage through space. This was exactly the thod Fang Zheng had co up with. Previously, the "door" had been set up by those creatures on the other side to only accept the biosignature encoded in the Gate Card for entry. The people from this world naturally had no ans to counter such a tactic, but that did not an Fang Zheng didn’t!

The approach Fang Zheng took was simple and crude: stabilize the entire "Teleportation Gate," then head in with a hamr to smash the door open and charge through... Take action!

The reason he had not done this before was the lack of "coordinates," which are essentially the key to link two points of a passage. If one views this Wormhole as a door, then previously only the other side had the key. But now, Fang Zheng also had the key, and therefore, there was no longer any need to consider the other side’s situation!

Now that the gate was open, it was ti for the big bad wolf to enter Little Red Riding Hood’s house and do as he pleased!

"Attack!"

At Fang Zheng’s command, countless Flying Dragons shrieked as they rushed into the Wormhole, followed closely by the Leviathan. In the blink of an eye, this Swarm Army had vanished into the Wormhole. Fang Zheng took a look around at the scenery, then turned and flew into the Wormhole with a flap of his wings.

After Fang Zheng’s departure, the Wormhole, no longer sustained by psionic energy, swiftly collapsed and dissipated. The roaring seas surged upwards, reaching for the sky, causing a massive tsunami to sweep across the entire Southeast Coastal Region.

However, at this mont, the people in the base didn’t care about such a trivial matter.

"Report, report to the Commander, the Wormhole’s signal... has disappeared."

Looking at the screen before him and listening to his subordinate’s report, Commander Pandacos was utterly dumbfounded.

What on Earth was happening?
