When Fang Zheng returned to the Heavenly Dao Palace, several days had already passed.
"Huaaah..."
He yawned and felt a bit tired; this ti he hadn’t triggered any mission. It could be said that this world was the most leisurely instance Fang Zheng had ever experienced. To put it another way, he used to enter instances as if he were playing an RPG, with main and side quests, and after completing them, he would receive achievent summaries and rewards in the form of equipnt.
But this ti, Fang Zheng felt he was playing a sandbox ga, doing whatever he wanted. Of course... aside from fending for himself, he couldn’t expect to receive any rewards.
In fact, the reason Fang Zheng did this was that he discovered there wasn’t anything he needed in the Monster World.
Although the human technology in that world was relatively advanced, Fang Zheng, after hacking into their servers to analyze their technology, found with resignation that there wasn’t anything useful. He wasn’t sure if it was because of the intrinsic nature of the Monster World, but their technology tree, much like The Matrix of Hackers, deviated in a peculiar direction. If the human civilization in the world of the Matrix specialized in virtual reality within their tech tree, then the technology in Monster World was biased towards things like Gundam.
From tallurgy to electronics, and from energy to information technology, all the highest rank technologies were developed to serve ch Hunters, and in other weapon systems, such as firearms, missiles, and airplanes, that world was only about 1.5 generations more advanced than Earth before Fang Zheng’s rebirth.
This level of technology was of little use to Fang Zheng, even though that world possessed miniaturized nuclear fission technology. His Sea Mist Fleet used a gravity reactor within the atmosphere and a dark matter engine beyond it – both far more powerful than nuclear fission.
As for in the cities... with Star Spirit Technology as the foundation, Fang Zheng genuinely found their level of progress unspectacular.
However, adhering to the principle of never leaving empty-handed, Fang Zheng still covertly packed away a copy of the world’s technology before he left. Although he didn’t need it himself, he considered that in the future, if he arrived in a world suffering from an energy crisis or one set at the end of the 20th or the beginning of the 21st century, he might be able to trade this bit of technology with the powers of that world.
On the other hand, the Blossom Beast alien force from the Monster World greatly disappointed Fang Zheng. This alien force followed a biological path similar to that of the Swarm, yet their technological progression wasn’t as advanced as the Zerg’s. It was essentially like having a modern army in "Civilization" while the opponent was still using firearms, and the composition of this alien force was very similar to that of the Swarm. Furthermore, since they were so frail, the Swarm didn’t even see them as worthy of assimilation. Hence, in the end, Fang Zheng simply eradicated this alien force and then brought back a fattened Swarm to his ho.
Although the system prompted Fang Zheng that he could annex the Monster World into the Free World, after so consideration, he decided to let it go. The Free World was finite, and the Monster World, in terms of growth potential or strength, was aningless. Thus, Fang Zheng chose not to pick the Monster World and just went ho to rest.
"Indeed, there’s no place like ho..."
Looking at the peaceful Heavenly Dao Palace before him, Fang Zheng stretched lazily. In the Monster World, he hadn’t done much besides eliminating those alien invaders. After all, Fang Zheng’s stand was clear; unless facing a hopeless situation like the Pitch Black World, where only death awaited, he would provide assistance to humanity when they faced threats. These alien life forms had been coveting Earth for more than a day or two, and Fang Zheng obviously did not hold back with them; he swept them away thoroughly.
At least in this way, there was one less alien race eyeing Earth. As for whether that world would encounter other troubles in the future, like a three-headed lizard or giant moths, that was no longer Fang Zheng’s concern. He wasn’t the father of Earth’s humanity after all; so things needed to be handled by them themselves.
"I’m back!"
Pushing open the door, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but shout out loud. Hearing his voice, the little kitten and Little Fire Dragon sprawled on the sofa imdiately lifted their heads to look his way. Accompanied by "ows" and "yaps," the kitten and dragon pounced toward Fang Zheng at once.

He petted the kitten in his arms and patted the Little Fire Dragon by his side. Fang Zheng felt he had truly won in life – even without owning a dog, having cats and dragons was equally beneficial for ntal and physical health.
"No one’s around, eh..."
Looking at the empty hall, Fang Zheng was quite unperturbed. This was his Western Mansion, which also served as a "dormitory." Black Katie and Natsuse, for example, would take care of teaching and studying at school after making breakfast in the morning and would only return in the afternoon.
Of course, not everyone was gone; at least so were still around.
"Captain? You’re back?"
"I am back, Iona."
Looking at Iona in front of him, Fang Zheng waved his hand and greeted her. Within Heavenly Dao Palace, the Fleet Girls were probably the most leisurely at the mont, their duties mostly limited to routine patrols, and beyond that, they spent most of their ti slacking off. And as Fang Zheng’s secretarial ship, Iona was basically on full-ti housekeeping duty here.
"How have things been recently?"
"All normal, no problems."
"Really... Is there anything you need to handle?"
"Of course, Captain, I have sorted out the docunts."
As a secretarial ship, Iona was certainly very diligent and responsible. Hearing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, she nodded.
"Miss Nymph has sent a ssage; the item you asked her to make is now complete. Also, Miss Tilia would like to discuss with you so issues regarding... ’dia’."
"Oh?"
Hearing this, Fang Zheng’s eyes lit up. He walked into his room with the two little ones and soon saw a flat box on his desk. Inside the box was sothing resembling a bracelet, with instructions placed beside it. Fang Zheng picked up the bracelet and put it on his wrist, and soon he saw a faint light emanating from the bracelet. He extended his hand and tapped on it, and then a virtual screen appeared in front of him.
"It looks like Nymph has done a good job."
Looking at the screen in front of him, Fang Zheng nodded in satisfaction. He had always wanted Nymph to design a tool to replace smartphones and computers. After all, there was no unified communication tool inside Heavenly Dao Palace, which was quite annoying. The little ones from Black World mostly used phones and the Swarm Network, while Black Katie and Tilia used the Free thod from the Crimson Realm for remote communication, and Nymph used her chains to send information directly to Fang Zheng. As for other ssages, Little Angel would use the radar for search and organization.
The Sea Mist Fleet, led by Iona, used the Core of Sea Mist Network...
This led to the transmission of various ssages being quite troubleso. For example, if Natsuse or Midori wanted to pass down Fang Zheng’s orders, they would need to use a phone. And if they needed to pass information among themselves, then Nymph would have to find Natsuse or Iona, and then have them use their respective networks to transmit information.
This was clearly a tedious and inconvenient matter. Therefore, Fang Zheng had previously given Nymph a task to co up with a portable, multipurpose tool capable of integrating communication and information processing, so that every person in Heavenly Dao Palace could be equipped with one. This way, whether it was transmitting information or orders, it would be much more convenient.
And now, it seed that Nymph had indeed completed this task.
From the current perspective, this bracelet was quite convenient. It could unfold a virtual screen and keyboard of any size in front of Fang Zheng. The mode of use was similar to that of a tablet computer; he only had to swipe and tap on the screen to launch applications, and the virtual keyboard allowed for direct and rapid input of the data Fang Zheng needed.
Unlike those projected keyboards, Fang Zheng could feel that these virtual keys indeed had "substance" when pressed, providing a very nice tactile feedback and ease of use. Moreover, the entire system’s interface was both sleek and infused with a high-tech fashion sense... It seed that Little Angel, being an Omnipotent Angel specialized in electronic warfare, was truly professional when it ca to information processing.

Fang Zheng tried to pull up the contacts list and quickly noticed that it already contained several nas, including Nymph, Tilia, and Black Katie among others.
"Well... how should I say this..."
Looking at the list of nas in front of him, Fang Zheng twitched his eye. Although this was actually quite normal, why did he feel as if he were flipping through a roster?
