Brilliant thunder exploded in all directions from the dark creature, forcing Fang Zheng and Eileen to retreat, while the dark creature itself stared fixedly at Fang Zheng, its eyes blood red.
"How did you find out?"
"Cut the crap, can’t you swallow whatever’s at the corner of your mouth before you speak next ti?!"
Fang Zheng thought, isn’t that obvious? When the man spoke, Fang Zheng and Eileen could see the bits of flesh at the corner of his mouth, and together with the corpses by his side, if they really believed this idiot, wouldn’t they be idiots themselves?

But, fortunately, Fang Zheng was not fighting alone.

Just as the dark creature turned to continue its pursuit, suddenly a small dagger flew past and pierced through its ear. The intense pain made the dark creature turn its head and roar, only to see Eileen, who had at so point reached the other side of the creature, holding her Dual Blades and coldly watching it.
"I’ll take you on, monster!"
"Seeking death!!"
Good timing!
Seeing Eileen had grabbed the dark creature’s attention, Fang Zheng quickly rolled on the spot to get behind it, then he gripped his Greatsword in his right hand, lifting it up and aiming at the monster before him. Sparks of fire appeared on the broad black blade, quickly engulfing the entire sword in flas. Without hesitation, Fang Zheng gripped the Greatsword tightly and thrust it forcefully into the creature!
"Ohhhhhhhhh!"
The Greatsword, ablaze with flas, stabbed into the dark creature’s posterior. The creature felt the sharp and scorching Greatsword, like a heated iron rod, piercing directly and deeply from its rear into its body, causing it such soul-piercing agony that it imdiately howled in pain.
It beat the ground forcefully with its hands as if trying to vent its suffering. At the sa ti, the dark creature struggled desperately to shake off Fang Zheng from behind. But of course, Fang Zheng wasn’t going to let it succeed. Seeing the creature trying to break free, he quickly stepped forward, and with a "pfft," the Greatsword stabbed deeper into the creature’s body!
"Uuuu...!! Uuuu!!"
At this mont, the dark creature was doing more than just howling; the sounds it emitted were so horrifying that even the hardened Hunter Killers felt a chill down their spine. However, as a competent Hunter, Eileen certainly wasn’t going to miss this opportunity. Seizing the mont when the dark creature seed powerless to resist, she dashed forward, and her Scimitar sent phantom slashes directly through the dark creature’s eyes.
"Aoooowwwww!!"
This strike also made the dark creature furiously angry. It roared and stretched out its front claw, striking forcefully at Eileen. The Hunter Killer, unable to dodge in ti, was hit by the creature, then let out a muffled groan as she was sent flying into a patch of grass.
The black beast, which had suffered heavy damage, no longer exhibited its forr majesty, with bolts of thunder exploding and burning all around its body. After forcing Fang Zheng and Eileen to retreat, the creature staggered in an attempt to escape. However, because Eileen had blinded its eyes and the excruciating pain from its rear end made it impossible for the black beast to quickly assess its predicant, leaving it to flail around aimlessly like a headless fly.
As it groped around attempting to flee, Fang Zheng’s greatsword once again swung down, severing the black beast’s head with a flash of crimson fla. The terrifying creature twitched for a mont before collapsing to the ground, motionless.
"This fellow was quite a hassle."
Fang Zheng swung his greatsword, and a streak of fire erged from the blade, instantly cleansing it of its bloodstains. He then walked over to the edge of the bushes where Eileen was slowly picking herself up, coughing and clutching her chest.
"How’s it going? Are you alright?"
Fang Zheng glanced at Eileen. The furious counterattack of the black beast was threatening; although it did not pierce through her body, it left a significant wound on the Hunter Killer. Nevertheless, she seed to ignore it, just waving her hand,
"It’s nothing, just a scratch. I’ve got so Blood Bottles on hand..."
As she spoke, Fang Zheng saw Eileen pull out a small glass bottle from her waist, which looked about the size of an ordinary dicine bottle. She then removed the wooden stopper and swallowed the thick substance, which looked like blood, into her mouth.
No... this stuff seed to be actual blood.
"Are you sure it’s okay to drink that thing?"
Fang Zheng watched as Eileen casually tossed the bottle aside, the sll of blood was so potent that even he could detect it. This all seed to point to the fact that it was human blood, aning... it really was a "Blood Bottle"?!
"What, haven’t seen it before? This is Blood Healing."
Seeing Fang Zheng’s expression, Eileen gave a slight smile.
"We Hunters are born from blood and have received the power of fresh blood, and now... this is our destiny... "
As she spoke, Eileen stood up. Despite Fang Zheng’s doubts about whether that thing could truly heal, at least Eileen seed to be in better color than before.
Not that he could see much color through the crow mask.
"But... I really didn’t expect to encounter a black beast here."
As she said this, Eileen moved toward the corpse of the black beast, her tone becoming grave.
