"I say, young man, we’ve already prepared as you instructed, what’s next?"
Standing in the training field, the rcenary Captain looked at Fang Zheng with a serious expression. At first, they might not have taken this place seriously, but after witnessing the adorable but clumsy Officer Seras and the Vampire Alucard, these rcenaries had learned not to judge by appearances. Therefore, although Fang Zheng didn’t seem particularly threatening to them, they had wisely refrained from mocking him as they had done with Seras earlier.
"You’re ready?"
"Of course."
Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s query, the rcenary Captain nodded, then made a gesture to his companions. Even though they were rcenaries, they still had pride. Even though they were not facing ordinary humans, should they fail to demonstrate their capabilities, they would be looked down upon by their employer!

Fang Zheng glanced at the rcenaries lined up in formation before turning his head to look at the elderly butler standing not far from him. Walter was holding a pocket watch in his hand, while Intagura and Seras stood by his side, curiously watching Fang Zheng. As for Alucard, that old bat had once again chosen to spy from the shadows, but Fang Zheng didn’t care.
"What exactly do you want us to do?"
In the rcenary Captain’s eyes, it seed that Fang Zheng might be planning to challenge them all by himself, but what purpose would that serve? Nevertheless, since Fang Zheng had made a request, they would comply.
"You just need to stand there."
The rcenary Captain heard Fang Zheng say with a slight smile after his query.
"Next, let’s see how long you can hold out."
Having said that, Fang Zheng closed his eyes and then slowly opened them.
At that mont, his pupils turned a golden-yellow color.
"......!!"
In just an instant, the rcenaries felt an imnsely terrifying pressure descend upon them. Their eyes widened in horror as they realized they were completely immobilized. It was as if they were standing unard on a beach, watching helplessly as a tsunami approached, unable to make any move.
They seed to have completely lost control of their bodies, to the point where, for a mont, many couldn’t even rember how to move their legs or raise their hands. It was as if, apart from their heads still functioning, every other part of their body had gone on strike.
What in damnation was this?!
These rcenaries were battle-hardened; they had faced countless battlefields, and even a ticking ti bomb about to go off in front of them was no more than a toy. But now, in front of this young man, they felt as if they had reverted to children, trembling and standing fearfully, their strength rapidly draining away from their bodies. They knew a hundred combat and killing skills in their minds, but now, they were helpless to do anything.
"Clang!"
Finally, a portly rcenary couldn’t withstand the intense pressure and collapsed to the ground. As he fell, it seed to signal the others, and soon, more rcenaries collapsed. The better ones among them were still able to keep their eyes wide open and remain conscious, while the weaker had been scared into fainting.
"What, what is this?"
It wasn’t just the rcenaries who were surprised, even Walter, Intagura, and Seras standing behind Fang Zheng widened their eyes in astonishnt. Although Fang Zheng had restrained his power, they could still keenly sense the aura emanating from him.
Powerful, supre, and invincible... it instinctively made them realize from deep within that there existed beings far greater and more superior in this world, and all they could do in the presence of such magnificence was humbly lower their heads.
Otherwise... one would die.
Seras was already shivering as she lowered her head, while Integra was still stubbornly holding on. She bit her teeth and clenched her fists, her posture upheld solely by the self-esteem of an heir to the Hellsing family. And Walter, without a word, just tightly held on to his pocket watch. However, his slightly trembling hands revealed that the old butler was far from as calm and composed as he appeared.
At this mont, almost all the rcenaries had collapsed on the ground or had fainted away, except for the rcenary Captain who was still persevering. He hung his head, his body swaying continuously. Even so, he was still trying hard to resist the psychic pressure that Fang Zheng had released.
But his will finally reached its limit.
"Thud!"
The rcenary Captain’s knees heavily hit the ground, and then he fell forward. Seeing this, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow, then his eyes quickly returned to their original state, and at the sa ti, that chilling sense of psychic pressure also disappeared from the entire training ground.
"Mr. Walter, how long did he last... Mr. Walter?"

Hearing Seras’s comnt, those rcenaries who were still conscious nodded in agreent. They only felt that the mont just now had been unbearably long, as if their lives had co to an end. Had Walter not spoken up, these rcenaries would have never believed that only thirty seconds had passed?
"Although I only used half my strength, lasting thirty seconds is still quite good."
After hearing Walter’s report, Fang Zheng nodded, then once again looked toward the rcenary Captain who had passed out.
"He’s a tough one, but his subordinates are not as strong as their leader..."
Fang Zheng had grounds for such remarks. The psychic pressure he had just released was a mix of both the Zerg Overlord and the Ti Dragon, where the Zerg Overlord’s ntal force could drive a person into becoming a crazed lunatic, while Dragon Might could completely erase all resistance in lower beings.
This was the true purpose of Fang Zheng’s trial. Now it seed that these rcenaries... well, most were stronger than average people. After all, if an ordinary person were directly exposed to Fang Zheng’s Dragon Might, they would probably collapse incontinently in less than a second.
"This is your current strength."
Fang Zheng swept a glance over the rcenaries before him.
"To be honest, by the standards of ordinary people, you are not bad. But unfortunately, your enemies are not ordinary people. Therefore, starting from today, I will begin your training... any objections, Miss Integra?"
"Of course not."
Having listened to Fang Zheng’s question, Integra, now regaining her composure, nodded to Fang Zheng.
"Then I’ll leave it to you, Mr. Fang Zheng."
