The genius hesitated for a brief mont before gritting his teeth. He raised a trembling finger and pointed toward one of the tunnels on the far side of the chamber. "That tunnel," he said hurriedly. "If you follow it, it'll lead you straight to the secret cave. I swear, that's where they went!"

Max's eyes narrowed slightly, a faint glint of suspicion flashing in them. The temperature in the chamber dropped again as the red glow in his eyes deepened, turning almost crimson-black.

"Are you lying to ?" he asked softly. His tone was calm, but every word carried a weight that made the genius's knees go weak. Infernal energy began to leak from Max's body, filling the space with a suffocating, oppressive aura. It felt as if the air itself had turned into molten iron.

The genius's body trembled uncontrollably. His eyes widened in terror, and sweat poured down his face as he shook his head violently. "No, I'm not! I'm telling you the truth! Please, believe !" he cried out. "I swear on my soul, I'm not lying!"

Max stared at him for several seconds, his glowing red eyes boring into the man's very soul. The chamber was silent again, save for the faint hum of residual energy from his earlier attack. Finally, Max's expression softened slightly. The glow in his eyes faded, and he released his grip.

The man stumbled back, gasping for air, his face pale as death.

"You'd better be telling the truth," Max said, his tone calm but cold. "Because if I find out otherwise, I'll co back for you."

The genius nodded rapidly, too terrified to even look him in the eye.

Max turned his gaze toward the others, his sharp eyes scanning each one of them. "You all do your job here," he said firmly. "I'll go and see what's happening."

None of them dared to respond. They only nodded, still shaken from what they had just witnessed.

Without another word, Max's figure flashed with blue lightning. The air rippled from the surge of energy as he vanished, his body shooting forward into the tunnel that the genius had pointed to. The faint crackle of lightning echoed for a mont before silence returned to the chamber.

The four remaining geniuses stood frozen in place, their eyes still wide, staring at the scorched marks left behind by Max's black flas. Not one of them dared to speak. The image of the Devouring Ants being crushed before their eyes would haunt them for a long ti to co.

anwhile, Max raced through the tunnel, his lightning-lit figure darting through the dark passage like a blue streak, heading straight for the secret cave of Holy Nectar—and the two golden crown geniuses who had taken control of it.

'I have to hurry up,' Max thought, his expression tightening with focus. His body suddenly erupted in a surge of red lightning, sharp and violent, as he activated the Storm King's inheritance – Extre Speed. The air around him trembled from the sheer power of the lightning bursting forth. His muscles tensed, his senses sharpened, and the world around him blurred into streaks of color.

Whoosh!

The tunnel filled with flashes of red and blue lightning as Max accelerated to his peak speed. His body beca a flicker of light, darting through the narrow passage like a streak of thunder piercing the dark. The wind howled around him, and every wall he passed cracked slightly from the overwhelming pressure of his movent.

The deeper he went, the denser the air beca. The sll of smoke and burnt rock lingered faintly, and the air carried the vibrations of sothing powerful ahead. Max's Three Dinsional Body was fully active, stretching his awareness through every inch of the tunnel.

He could feel the faint disturbances in the mana around him—shockwaves, flashes of heat, and raw energy colliding.

Soon, the faint echoes of sothing caught his attention. At first, it was only a distant tremor, but the more he ran, the clearer it beca. The unmistakable sound of battle. Blasts of energy clashing, stone cracking, and the faint roars of powerful beings echoed faintly through the long, winding tunnel. The noise grew louder with each passing second until it began to shake the walls themselves.

"So there really is a fight happening ahead," Max muttered, his eyes narrowing. The edges of his body crackled more intensely as he pushed his speed even further. His body beca almost weightless, the air breaking apart around him from the friction of lightning and movent.

In that instant, he was gone—no footsteps, no afterimage, just the flash of blue and red lightning cutting through the dark.

The pressure in the tunnel grew suffocating as he neared the end. The mana turbulence was imnse now. Even before reaching the exit, Max could feel the intensity of the power being unleashed in the space ahead. It was fierce, chaotic, and unrestrained. Whoever was fighting inside wasn't holding back.

Activating his Three Dinsional Body to its maximum range, Max expanded his perception ahead. Countless spatial lines appeared in his mind—every motion, every burst of energy, and every vibration forming a clear image in his head. The mont he focused, his eyes widened slightly.

There, at the far end of the tunnel, was the secret chamber. It was enormous, its walls glowing faintly from the light of the energy waves colliding inside. Cracks ran along the ground, and fragnts of Holy Nectar shimred faintly in different parts of the room like pools of molten gold. But what drew Max's attention the most were the two figures fighting at the very center.

They were both humans, both geniuses, and both had golden crowns hovering faintly above their heads. Their movents were so fast that ordinary eyes wouldn't have been able to follow them. Waves of force rolled through the chamber every ti their attacks clashed. Sparks of sword energy, bursts of fire, and flashes of lightning illuminated the entire space in chaotic brilliance.

Max slowed down slightly at the tunnel's mouth, stopping just before entering the open chamber. His gaze sharpened as he observed the fight from afar, studying their strength and movents.

'Grover and Tanya,' he thought quietly. 'So that's who those people were talking about. I guess this is the cave they took over.'

He could feel the intensity of their battle even from a distance. The air itself vibrated from the pressure. Every clash was like a collision between two worlds, their combined power enough to make the ground tremble continuously. Dust and fragnts of rock floated in the air, carried by the sheer turbulence of their attacks.

Max didn't move imdiately. His mind remained calm, his expression unreadable, though deep in his eyes there was a faint gleam of anticipation.

The presence of Holy Nectar was strong here—so strong that it almost distorted the air. But for the mont, Max's focus was on the two geniuses fighting before him. Each blow they exchanged revealed not only their incredible strength but also their complete disregard for restraint.
