The battle that unfolded between the human geniuses and the demon army quickly beca a display of overwhelming power from both sides. The seven squads carved deep lines into the advancing horde, and each squad leader directed their forces with movents honed through countless battles.
Victor's squad stood at the center of the frontline, and Victor himself drove into the densest part of the demon ranks. His Azure Dragon Bloodline granted him strength beyond his peers, and each punch he threw ripped through waves of demon warriors.
His squad followed close behind, moving with disciplined coordination as they struck down every demon that managed to survive Victor's initial assault. The earth shook beneath them, and the sky trembled as Victor continued pressing forward like a living battering ram.
To the right of Victor, Michael and his squad fought like lightning incarnate. Michael's spear danced through the air, leaving long trails of crackling electricity in its wake. Every thrust created a streak of light that pierced demon bodies with clean precision.
His squad enhanced his attacks with their own lightning techniques, forming a barrier of flashing bolts that tore through demons that tried to break the formation. Thunder rolled continuously across the battlefield wherever Michael moved, and the demons that dared approach him were reduced to twitching remnants before collapsing lifelessly.
On the left side, Seraphina's squad created a blazing inferno that pushed back both darkness and demon flesh. Seraphina's golden flas spread across the battlefield like an ocean of radiant heat. She commanded her flas with the confidence of a queen whose authority no one could question, and her squad followed her example.
The golden fire lded with their own fla techniques, increasing their power as they burned through the charging demons. The intense brightness of the flas illuminated the entire frontline, giving the human side an unyielding foundation.
Further along the field, Daniel and his squad transford their section of the battlefield into a realm dominated by dark fire. Daniel's black flas spread outward in rippling waves that consud everything in their path. Demon bodies twisted and dissolved as the dark fire swallowed them, leaving no trace behind.
Daniel's squad used their own dark-elent techniques to support him, reinforcing his flas and maintaining stable control over the area. Their movents were fluid, and together they ford a zone where demons could not step without being devoured by shadow.
Chris and Christine's squads held the central support position. Chris summoned vast sheets of freezing mist that swept across the battlefield, slowing the demons to a crawl. Their limbs stiffened as frost crept across their bodies, making them vulnerable targets. Christine followed imdiately with bursts of blazing fire that shattered the frozen demons and created shockwaves that cleared the area.
Their squads took advantage of the frozen ground and the burning trails, launching combined elental strikes that alternated between freezing and exploding. The battlefield around them resembled a storm of ice and fla locked in harmonious balance.
Arthur's squad dominated the left flank, where Arthur himself controlled a vast domain of floating swords. They hovered above the battlefield like stars waiting for command. When he directed them to move, they converged in sharp, swift lines that tore through demon formations.
His squad fought beneath this rain of blades, moving in synchronization with the paths of Arthur's sword projections. The demons that attempted to flank the humans were sliced apart before they could raise their weapons.
Though the seven squads perford with impressive coordination and skill, Max did not involve himself in the battle. He stood above the battlefield with arms folded and eyes half narrowed, observing the flow of the fight with a calm detachnt that seed out of place amid the chaos.
His gaze moved from one squad to another, watching the strengths they displayed and the gaps that still needed tightening. The battlefield roared beneath him, yet nothing shook his stillness. His presence alone felt like a pressure that stretched over the entire field.
As the battle intensified, several demon leaders among the army shifted their gaze toward Max and see him terrified them. They had been warned long before that one particular human genius stood above all others, soone whose existence threatened any demon foolish enough to provoke him.
They had been told to do anything in the human world except provoking Max but now this Max had ca to their world and this terrified them even further.
Their instincts scread at them to avoid him. A few demon captains exchanged alard looks, and whispers spread among their ranks that this was the human genius they had been warned about. So of them even began retreating from the frontline, eager to escape and notify the higher-ranked demon lords before the situation spiraled out of control.
Max noticed their panic instantly. He sensed the shift in their movents and the intentions that flickered within their aura. His lips curved slightly as he raised his hand. "Running away will not help any of you," he said quietly, although his voice did not rise above a whisper.
With a smooth motion, he extended his fingers toward the sky. The space around the battlefield trembled, and a deep vibration spread through the air. The edges of the world seed to blur as Max activated his fifth level concept of space.
A crushing seal ford.
Space itself locked in place around the battlefield, creating an invisible barrier that closed like a cage. The atmosphere shifted violently for a mont before stabilizing into a confined pocket of distorted reality.
The demons felt the change imdiately. The ones who had begun retreating stopped abruptly as their bodies collided with an unseen wall. The barrier did not physically throw them back, but the spatial force pressed them inward, trapping them completely. Panic spread across the demon army as they realized every exit was sealed.
Max lowered his hand slowly, his expression calm as if he had done nothing unusual. The battlefield was now locked inside an isolated space where escape was impossible.
The demon leaders stared at him with dread, understanding that they were trapped with the one person they had been commanded to avoid. Their desperate instincts scread for retreat, but Max had already closed off every path.
