As the red glow surrounding Lilly surged to its absolute peak, the radiance beca so intense that even the spirits who were born of pure essence instinctively turned away, shielding their eyes from the overwhelming brilliance.
The light flooded the entire Dinsion of Spirit, painting the sky and land in deep crimson hues, while the air trembled with a profound resonance that felt ancient and sacred. It was not rely energy dispersing outward but a fundantal transformation taking place, as if the very laws governing spirits were being rewritten at that mont.
Then, just as suddenly, the blinding glow receded. The crimson light folded inward, dissolving into countless motes that vanished into Lilly's body, leaving behind a silence so heavy that even the playful spirits stood completely still.
When everyone slowly opened their eyes, the scene before them caused shock to ripple through every being present. Even Blob, who had witnessed countless strange phenona within the Dinsion of Spirit, froze in place, his expression filled with disbelief.
Standing where the small red spirit had been was now a humanoid figure. Lilly had taken on the strongest and rarest form a spirit could ever achieve, a form that countless spirits dread of but almost none could attain.
Her body was fully shaped, balanced and refined, radiating an innate authority that surpassed ordinary spirits by an imasurable margin. Dark flaming red hair cascaded down her back like molten lava, each strand flickering with gentle crimson flas that moved as though they were alive.
Her eyes burned with a deep scarlet light, clear and intelligent, no longer carrying the innocence of an unshaped spirit but the awareness of a being born complete.
What stunned Max the most was her face. It resembled his own far more than he had expected, sharing the sa sharp features and calm intensity, softened only slightly by a youthful grace. The resemblance was undeniable, as if she were truly born from his essence rather than rely created through it.
The surrounding spirits stared in awe and reverence, instinctively sensing that Lilly had stepped into a realm far above them, a being destined to stand at the pinnacle of spirit existence. In that mont, it beca clear to all present that the birth of Lilly was not rely rare, but an event that defied the natural order itself.
"This… this… how is this possible!" Blob exclaid, his voice filled with disbelief as he stared at Lilly's transford figure. He was completely stunned, his usual cheerful composure shattered by what he was witnessing.
The sight before him defied everything he knew about spirits and their growth. This was not just rare, it was sothing bordering on impossible. To Blob, this was not rely Lilly's achievent but the realization of a dream he and countless other spirits across existence had long held but never truly believed they could reach.
There were only three known stages in the evolution of spirits. The first stage was that of sentient forms who possessed awareness but could not speak or think clearly. The second stage was the one Blob himself had reached, where a spirit could speak, reason and interact freely with others. Beyond that lay the final stage, the humanoid form, the most complete and powerful existence a spirit could attain.
This transformation was considered almost unattainable, sothing spoken of in legends rather than reality. Blob had told Max countless tis that achieving a humanoid body was his greatest dream, yet even after so long, he had never co close. And now Lilly had achieved it in re monts, right before his eyes.
"Is this the humanoid form of spirits?" Max finally asked, his voice calm but filled with curiosity as he looked at Lilly carefully.
"Indeed, Master," Tian replied with a composed smile. "Lilly is fundantally different from other spirits. She was not born from the natural world but was created within the Dinsion of Spirit through your blood. After growing within the pure essence of this dinsion, she naturally reached her strongest form. However, that form could only be completed when you gave her a na, because that act solidified her existence and anchored her identity."
"I see," Max said, nodding slowly as he absorbed Tian's explanation.
"Father, how am I looking? Am I pretty enough?" Lilly suddenly asked, her voice bright and full of excitent as she moved around Max, turning eagerly as if showing off her new form. Her movents were lively and natural, radiating joy at simply existing.
Max smiled warmly and nodded. "My Lilly is the most beautiful spirit here."
"I knew it!" Lilly cried out happily, jumping away in delight.
Watching her carefree excitent, Max felt a quiet sense of warmth settle in his chest. Seeing Lilly so happy and full of life brought a gentle smile to his face, one that reflected both pride and an unexpected sense of responsibility that he couldn't understand fully.
"Lilly, can you switch back to your normal spirit form?" Max asked gently as he looked at her.
"I can," Lilly replied without hesitation. A soft red glow spread across her body once more, far gentler than before, and within monts her humanoid figure dissolved into flowing crimson light. When the glow faded, her familiar spirit form reappeared, floating lightly in the air, her presence calm and stable.
"Nice," Max nodded in satisfaction. He felt genuinely relieved seeing that she could shift between her humanoid form and spirit form with such ease. This level of control ant her transformation was not unstable or forced, but sothing that had beco a natural part of her existence.
"Good job, Lilly," Max said warmly as he prepared to leave the Dinsion of Spirit.
"Are you leaving, Father?" Lilly suddenly asked.
"How did you know?" Max turned toward her in surprise.
"Even though I was not born like others, I can feel it," Lilly replied softly, her expression turning faintly sad. "Father does not stay in this world for very long."
Max smiled at her words, feeling a slight ache in his chest. "Do not worry. I have a way to stay with you for as long as you want."
"Yay!" Lilly cried out happily, bouncing in the air with excitent as her sadness vanished instantly.
"I will be back in a mont," Max said, and his figure disappeared from the Dinsion of Spirit.
In the next instant, he appeared within the Dinsion of Ti. His clone, which had been training there continuously, slowly opened its eyes. "Leave it to ," the clone said calmly. Its figure vanished and imdiately reappeared within the Dinsion of Spirit, where it began interacting with Lilly, playing with her and keeping her company.
Back in the real world, Max opened his eyes and muttered thoughtfully, "I should let my clone remain in the Dinsion of Spirit permanently for now. That way Lilly will never feel lonely, and in a way, I will always be with her too."
He nodded to himself, genuinely satisfied with the decision.
