"I do not know for certain," Luna replied, shaking her head slightly. "Everything happened too quickly. One mont we were still on Orion, and the next mont we found ourselves here. However, I did notice sothing unusual. When I first arrived, my strength was at the fifth level of the Law Manifestation Realm, but shortly after, it was forcefully suppressed to the peak of the Law Refinent Realm."
She paused briefly before continuing. "I also encountered so of these creatures earlier when they were at the Law Manifestation Realm, but after my strength was suppressed, I have not seen any of them at that level again."
Her expression turned more serious as she voiced her conclusion. "My guess is that we have been pulled into so kind of secret domain within Orion. If that assumption is correct, then the cause may be related to the battle between that masked man and the elven group. Their clash likely destabilized the crack in the void, causing it to expand and draw all of us inside."
After a brief mont of thought, she added, "As for this domain itself, it appears to be restricted to the peak of the Law Refinent Realm. Otherwise, there would be no reason for my cultivation to be forcibly suppressed to that level."
Max nodded slightly as he listened, silently understanding how the restrictions within this dinsion were taking effect and aligning with what he had already observed.
"From what I can tell, the center of this secret domain is where the most dangerous auras are gathering," Max said, his expression turning serious as he spoke. "If my judgnt is correct, then that is also where we are most likely to find a way out."
"The center of the secret domain?" Luna frowned as she looked at him closely. "That is strange. I cannot sense anything in that direction. How are you able to detect it?"
Max gave a slight shrug, his tone calm and indifferent. "Whether you believe or not is your choice. If you do not, then I will simply take Isabella and leave on my own."
Luna studied him for a mont, her gaze steady and thoughtful as she weighed his words. After a brief silence, she spoke. "I do not have any clear direction to follow at the mont, so I will go along with your lead for now."
A faint smile appeared on Max's face. "That works."
"Then let us move," Max said as he shifted his attention back to the battlefield.
With a thought, the black flaming swords that had pinned down the devil creatures flared to life once more, their flas intensifying as they began to devour the bodies impaled beneath them. Within monts, both the swords and the corpses were consud entirely, leaving no trace behind.
Luna and the others did not react with much surprise. To them, it simply appeared as though Max had burned the creatures to nothing.
Soon, the group began moving again, this ti heading directly toward the center of the secret domain.
Coincidentally, this direction aligned with the path Lucia was taking. Considering her cautious and asured pace, Max was confident that they would encounter her before long.
As for the dangerous auras he had ntioned, Max knew that part of his statent was an exaggeration ant to guide Luna and her group toward the direction he intended to go.
However, that did not an the center of this domain was ordinary.
Ever since he had assimilated this dinsion, Max had been able to sense a powerful spatial disturbance emanating from that area. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before, vast and unstable, as though space itself was being distorted on an enormous scale.
If his instincts were correct, that disturbance was either the key to escaping this domain, or it concealed sothing far more significant beyond it.
As the group continued their journey across the desolate battlefield, they soon found that the path ahead was far from safe. Ti and ti again, those horrifying devilish creatures erged from the wasteland, appearing without warning and surrounding them with the sa relentless hunger.
However, with Max and Luna leading the group, each encounter ended swiftly. Luna's strength at the peak of the Law Refinent Realm allowed her to hold back and suppress the creatures with precision, while Max's black flas brought destruction upon them with overwhelming force. Together, they cut through every wave that stood in their way.
Each ti the creatures were slain, Max made sure not to leave their corpses behind. His black flas would quietly consu them, drawing out their essence and strengthening the Infernal Energy within him before the group moved forward once again.
Hours passed as they traveled deeper into the domain.
The pattern soon beca clear.
Every few hours, as though following so unseen rhythm, new hordes of those creatures would appear. They would erge from the barren land, from behind ruined structures, or sotis from nowhere at all, surrounding the group in waves that seed endless.
The constant battles began to wear on the others. Even though they managed to survive each encounter, the pressure never truly eased. The creatures did not grow weaker, and their numbers did not diminish. If anything, it felt as though they were being drawn deeper into a place where these beings were even more concentrated.
Yet despite the mounting tension, Max continued forward without hesitation, devouring every fallen creature along the way, his strength steadily rising as the group pressed on toward the unknown depths of the secret domain.
As they continued moving forward, Max suddenly halted in his tracks, his expression shifting as a subtle change occurred within him.
"What happened?" Luna asked imdiately, her eyes narrowing as she looked at him.
"I think I am about to break through to the Law Awakening Realm," Max said in a low voice, his tone calm but certain.
The mont he spoke, he could clearly feel the accumulated energy within his body reaching a critical point. After devouring so many of those devilish creatures, each of which possessed strength at the Law Awakening Realm or even the Law Refinent Realm, it was only natural that his own cultivation had reached the threshold for advancent.
"You are about to level up?" Luna repeated, her surprise evident. She could not understand how such a sudden breakthrough was possible. From what she had observed, Max had neither absorbed any Divine Crystals nor consud any rare treasures that would normally support such a leap from the peak of the Rebirth Realm to the first level of the Law Awakening Realm.
"Please keep watch for while I break through," Max said, turning his gaze toward Luna and Isabella.
Isabella nodded without hesitation, fully trusting him, while Luna's brows furrowed slightly as she considered the situation.
"Make it quick," Luna said after a mont, her tone serious. "There is no telling what we might encounter next in this place."
Max gave a small nod in response, already preparing himself for the breakthrough.
