Seeing these newly ford empty Law Seeds, Max could not help but feel puzzled as he tried to understand their purpose.
Under normal circumstances, a Law Seed served as the foundation for comprehending a specific law. It represented the earliest stage of understanding, a starting point from which a cultivator could gradually deepen their grasp over an elent or concept.
However, these seeds were different.
They contained nothing.
They carried no elent, no concept, no direction.
Max frowned slightly as he observed them. Without any defining essence, how could these empty Law Seeds contribute to his cultivation? How could sothing without a foundation lead to comprehension?
"I will figure that out later," Max muttered as he suppressed his curiosity and forced himself to focus on completing his breakthrough first.
Yet just as he redirected his attention, another change began to unfold.
The Chaos Tree within his inner space suddenly trembled.
It was not a subtle movent.
The entire structure shook violently, as though responding to the transformation taking place within him. Before Max could fully comprehend what was happening, the tree began to grow.
Its size expanded rapidly.
What had once resembled a small plant rooted within his inner space now stretched upward, thickening and stabilizing as it transford into a fully developed dium sized tree. Its presence beca far more imposing, its branches spreading wider, its trunk growing denser, as though it had reached a new stage of life.
But the changes did not stop there.
As Max focused more closely, he noticed that each of the main branches of the Chaos Tree, which represented the core elents he had comprehended such as fla, lightning, ice, space, and others, began to shift.
From those primary branches, new branches started to erge.
These were not random growths.
Each new branch extended from an existing one, as though it were a natural evolution of the original concept. The fla branch split further, giving rise to finer variations that carried subtle differences in heat and intensity.
The lightning branch extended into new paths, its energy becoming more intricate and layered. The ice branch expanded with additional offshoots that seed to embody deeper aspects of cold and stillness.
The sa phenonon occurred across all the main branches.
One beca many.
Each primary branch began to branch outward into countless possibilities, forming a complex and expanding network within the Chaos Tree.
Max's eyes widened slightly as he took in the sight. He never thought even his Chaos Tree would undergo changes.
"It seems that the higher I ascend in cultivation, the more possibilities my abilities begin to reveal," Max murmured to himself as he steadied his thoughts. With that realization, he shifted his focus inward, directing his attention toward two of the most important branches within the Chaos Tree, the branches of fla and sword.
On the main fla branch, three Chaos Fruits hung quietly, each one radiating a faint yet profound aura. Originally, there had been five, but Max had already consud one, while another remained stored within his dinsional space. Even so, the remaining fruits still carried imnse significance, representing condensed manifestations of the fla laws he had comprehended.
However, what truly caught his attention was not the fruits themselves, but a smaller branch that extended from the main fla branch.
Unlike the main branch, which bore tangible fruits, this side branch appeared far more subtle. There were no fruits hanging from it. Instead, at its surface, Max could barely make out a faint, star shaped mark. The mark was so indistinct that it almost blended into the branch itself, and without complete focus, it would have been impossible to notice its existence.
Max narrowed his eyes slightly as he observed it more closely.
Then he shifted his gaze toward the sword branch.
There, he found a similar phenonon.
A side branch extended outward, and upon it, there was also a star shaped mark. However, unlike the one on the fla branch, this mark was far clearer. It possessed a more defined structure, its outline sharper, as though it had already taken a more complete form.
Max fell into deep thought as he compared the two.
After a brief mont, realization struck him.
"Could these star shaped marks represent my cosmic paths?" he muttered softly.
The more he considered it, the more the idea made sense.
His comprehension of the sword path had always been far deeper than that of flas. He had invested more ti, more effort, and more understanding into it, allowing it to develop far beyond the others. In contrast, his fla path was still in a much earlier stage, lacking the sa depth and refinent.
This difference perfectly explained the disparity between the two marks.
The faint and almost invisible star on the fla branch reflected an incomplete and embryonic cosmic path, while the clearer mark on the sword branch represented a path that had already taken shape and gained substance.
Max's expression grew serious as he understood the implication.
These were not just marks.
They were the foundations of sothing far greater.
"I am not sure whether these side branches serve any purpose beyond this," Max murmured softly, a hint of curiosity lingering in his voice as he observed the changes within his inner space.
At that very mont, a surge of power rose from within him.
His cultivation finally broke through.
The barrier that had held him at the peak of the Rebirth Realm shattered completely as his aura transford, stabilizing at the first level of the Law Awakening Realm. The shift was profound, not just in strength but in essence, as his control over laws beca clearer and more refined.
Max did not allow even a mont to pass.
Sensing the opportunity before him, he imdiately reached into his dinsional space and took out several more corpses belonging to humans, primordials, and devils. Without hesitation, black flas surged from his body once again, engulfing the corpses and devouring them completely.
The energy they contained poured into him in rapid succession.
Each wave of devouring further strengthened his foundation, pushing his cultivation higher without pause. His aura continued to rise, breaking through one level after another as the accumulated power surged through his body.
In a short span of ti, his cultivation advanced twice more.
By the ti the last of the stored corpses had been completely consud, Max's strength had already reached the third level of the Law Awakening Realm.
