Not long after leaving the region where he had fought Mira, Max arrived at a desolate stretch of land.
The surroundings were barren and silent, with no signs of life in sight. He extended his Dinsional Sovereign Body and carefully scanned the area, confirming that there was no one nearby. Only after ensuring that he was completely alone did he act.
In the next mont, his figure vanished.
He entered the Dinsion of Genesis.
Inside, Lucia and Isabella stood in the vast, unfamiliar world, still trying to make sense of their surroundings. When Max had suddenly pulled them into this place, both of them had been caught completely off guard. The transition had been instantaneous, leaving them with no ti to react.
As they looked around, they found themselves standing in an expansive world that felt both real and stable. There were no signs of instability or distortion. The air, the ground, and the distant horizon all carried the sa sense of reality as the outside world.
That alone was enough to leave them shocked.
They had expected sothing akin to a storage space or a fragile pocket dinsion, yet this place felt entirely different. It was vast, calm, and strangely complete, as if it were a world of its own.
While they were still trying to understand what had happened, Max appeared before them.
"How are you two?" he asked with a faint smile.
Lucia looked at him, her curiosity imdiately surfacing. "What is this place?" she asked. From what she had already sensed, this world was clearly connected to Max. It was also obvious that he had brought them here deliberately when they were surrounded by the Sword God Palace.
"This is a secret domain under my control," Max replied without going into too much detail. "There is no need to ask how I obtained it. You can think of it as sothing similar to a pocket dinsion or a life space ring, except far more stable and far safer."
Lucia and Isabella were both visibly stunned by his explanation.
They were not unfamiliar with life space rings or pocket dinsions, but they also knew their limitations. Life space rings could be destroyed during intense battles, and pocket dinsions often beca unstable when moved or interfered with. However, this place showed none of those weaknesses.
Even after spending a few minutes here, they could clearly feel that this world was stable, almost indistinguishable from reality itself.
It was not sothing they could easily comprehend.
Max then turned to Isabella. "You should remain here for now and explore this place," he said. "I am heading closer to the center of the Orion secret domain, and I do not know what dangers I may encounter there. It will be too risky for you to follow."
He paused briefly before continuing. "Instead, use this ti to focus on the plan I ntioned earlier. You can consider this place as the foundation of that plan. In a way, it will serve as our base."
With a snap of his fingers, a faint golden light enveloped Isabella's body. As the light faded, she felt a subtle connection form between herself and the world around her.
"This will allow you limited control over this domain," Max explained. "Try to understand it and see how you can shape this place into sothing more suitable for what we intend to build."
Isabella stood still for a mont, feeling that connection settle within her, while Lucia looked at Max with even deeper curiosity than before.
Isabella was not foolish. The mont she heard Max's words, she understood the deeper aning behind them. He was not simply asking her to explore this place. He was entrusting her with sothing far greater.
A hidden force.
If her understanding was correct, then this domain would beco the foundation of that force, a place from which they would operate in the shadows, away from the eyes of the world.
"I will do my best," Isabella said with a serious expression.
Having witnessed Max's true strength, she no longer held any illusions about the gap between them. The difference was overwhelming, and more importantly, it was still growing. With each passing mont, Max was becoming stronger at a rate that defied reason.
That realization gave rise to a firm belief within her.
Max was soone destined for sothing far greater in the future.
The hesitation she once felt about joining his hidden force disappeared completely.
Max smiled faintly as he saw the change in her attitude. Without saying anything further, he reached into his storage and took out a Chaos Fruit before handing it to her.
"This is what I promised you," he said.
Isabella accepted it carefully, her eyes reflecting a faint excitent. She still rembered what Max had told her before, how he could help her obtain a divine body, how he could elevate her talent beyond that of Zain Heron even before her Imperial Bloodline fully awakened.
"I will not disappoint you," she said firmly.
"I know," Max replied with a calm smile.
In the next mont, his figure disappeared from the Dinsion of Genesis, taking Lucia with him.
When they returned to the Orion secret domain, Lucia could no longer hold back her curiosity.
"What was that just now?" she asked imdiately. "I did not understand anything the two of you were talking about. And what was that thing you gave her?"
Max shook his head slightly. "There is no need for you to worry about that."
Lucia narrowed her eyes as she looked at him. "You and Isabella are definitely planning sothing behind my back."
Max simply smiled. "Perhaps we are, or perhaps we are not. In any case, now that you have seen my true strength, you should stop worrying about and focus more on yourself."
His expression turned slightly serious as he continued, "We are approaching the center of this domain. There is no telling what we will encounter next, so you must remain alert at all tis. Do you understand?"
Lucia nodded, her expression turning solemn.
"Good," Max said. "Let us move."
With that, the two of them set off once again, heading deeper toward the heart of the secret domain.
