One of them, an elder nad Shelly, moved to the front.
Her expression was serious as she looked at both sides and spoke in a clear, steady voice.
"Everyone must remain calm," Shelly said. "We cannot allow a battle to break out here. If fighting erupts in this place and sohow interferes with the war unfolding around us, we may disrupt the balance of this secret domain itself. If that happens, all of us could beco trapped here forever."
Her words carried weight, and the gravity of her warning settled over the gathered crowd.
She continued, "For the sake of everyone present, step back from this conflict. Once we leave this secret domain, you may settle your grievances however you wish. Until then, no one should act recklessly."
The people from the other factions nodded in agreent.
None of them wished to risk disturbing the strange temporal battlefield around them. They all understood that a careless clash here could trigger consequences none of them were prepared to face.
Edwin's expression darkened as he listened.
He turned his gaze toward the battlefield in the distance, where the war between the primordials and the devils still raged without pause. For a mont, hesitation crossed his face.
He wanted to kill Max.
That desire burned fiercely within him.
Mira was the daughter of the Palace Master of the Sword God Palace, and reducing her to a comatose state was an unforgivable insult. In Edwin's eyes, such an act demanded death.
Yet the situation before him was not favorable.
The old man beside him also frowned deeply, but unlike Edwin, he quickly ca to a decision.
"Very well," he said coldly. "This matter will be settled once we leave this secret domain."
His eyes were filled with dark resolve.
In his heart, he had already decided that the mont they escaped, he would summon powerful elders from the Sword God Palace to counter the War God Palace's protection.
Anyone who humiliated the Sword God Palace could not be allowed to live, and Max had gone far beyond re insult.
He had reduced their Young Miss to such a miserable state.
That offense, in the eyes of the Sword God Palace, was punishable by death.
Seeing the old man withdraw, Edwin reluctantly followed, though the murderous intent in his gaze remained unchanged.
Only after they stepped back did the elders of the War God Palace begin to relax.
The heavy atmosphere eased slightly.
Tamara turned her eyes toward Max and studied him for a mont before speaking.
"You are surprisingly calm for soone who was just monts away from being surrounded by the Sword God Palace."
Max smiled faintly.
"I knew they could not do anything to here," he said in an unhurried tone.
Tamara shook her head, though there was a trace of helplessness in her expression.
"Then for your own sake, I suggest you disappear as quickly as possible once we leave this secret domain."
Max nodded calmly.
"That is exactly what I intend to do."
Just as Max was about to say sothing further to Tamara, a primordial warrior descended from the sky and landed before the gathered group.
The primordial's expression was stern as he glanced over the humans assembled there.
"What are all of you doing here?" he muttered, his tone filled with impatience.
He stepped forward and shouted, "If you humans have enough ti to stand here idly, then go and guard the Ascension Tunnel instead of wasting yourselves in this place."
Several mbers of the group exchanged uneasy glances. One of them was just about to respond when everything changed in an instant.
A terrifying force ca crashing down from above.
The impact was so sudden and violent that most of the people present did not even see what had descended. All they sensed was a deafening explosion that shook the ground beneath their feet.
The primordial had no chance to react.
A cloud of dust and shattered earth erupted into the air, obscuring everything from sight.
For a mont, silence gripped the entire area.
Then, as the dust slowly began to settle, the first thing that beca visible was a radiant golden ring suspended in the air. Its brilliance pierced through the haze, glowing with such intensity that it dominated the battlefield even before the figure beneath it could be seen.
Gradually, the dust cleared away completely.
A man stood there.
At first glance, he resembled a human, yet his presence made it instantly clear that he was sothing far beyond ordinary. Above his head floated the glowing golden ring, radiating an almost sacred light, while two pure white feathered appendages extended behind his back.
He wore brilliant red armor that glead as though forged from molten sunlight itself, and his clean, sharply defined face carried the appearance of a man in his early thirties.
Yet none of that was what filled the group with horror.
What truly froze their blood was what lay beneath his feet.
The primordial who had spoken to them monts earlier was gone.
In his place remained only a mutilated ruin of flesh and blood. His body had been crushed so completely that nothing recognizable remained except torn flesh, shattered bone, and exposed organs spread beneath the stranger's boots.
The sheer brutality of it made several people instinctively recoil.
Then the man turned.
The mont his gaze swept toward the group, an overwhelming pressure descended upon them.
It was as if the heavens themselves had collapsed onto their shoulders.
The force struck them all at once.
Bodies trembled violently as knees buckled under the unbearable weight. One after another, people were forced down onto the ground, their legs unable to support them. Even powerful cultivators struggled desperately to remain upright, but the pressure gave them no rcy.
Many dropped to their knees.
So weaker mbers of the group could not endure it at all.
They collapsed outright, their bodies slamming into the earth as consciousness fled from them under the sheer terror of the oppressive aura.

It felt as though invisible hands were tightening around their throats, squeezing the air from their lungs. Every breath beca a struggle, every movent unbearably heavy.
Even Tamara, Edwin, and the elders present found themselves trembling under that force, their expressions filled with shock and dread.
Max's eyes narrowed as he resisted the crushing pressure, his entire body tensing. At this mont he also realized his Primordial title had once again lost its effect here and realizing this, Max knew the figure before him was no ordinary man.
This was no ordinary enemy.
The presence of this being carried a terror so absolute that it made everyone feel as though death itself had descended before them.
The figure calmly surveyed the kneeling crowd, utterly indifferent to the suffering he caused.
Then, in a voice smooth and composed, as though he had rely stepped into a quiet garden rather than a battlefield soaked in blood, he spoke.
"Now then… where is the Ascension Tunnel?"
