The first star entered his left hand, and the second entered his right. The third star sank into his spine, the fourth entered his eyes, and the fifth merged with his heart. The sixth star wrapped itself around his bones, the seventh burned its way into his blood, and the eighth spread across his flesh.
Finally, the ninth star formed a brilliant crown of starlight above his head before sinking into his body like a divine seal.
Orion’s aura changed pletely.
Until this moment, he had been a long-range star cultivator whose attacks descended from above and overwhelmed his enemies through their numbers, their angles, their speed, and their celestial pressure.
But now, with his Pseudo Cosmic Path fully open, the power of the stars no longer hung far away from him. It gathered into his body and transformed him from a distant mander of stars into a supreme genius of close bat.
His fingers glowed with lines of starlight, his bones released faint celestial hums, and his very steps fell into rhythm with a starry sky. The entire arena could feel the difference.
Orion Starfall was no longer using stars. He had bee the vessel of his stars.
His voice rang across the stage, calm and clear.
"Pseudo Cosmic Path. Nine Star Sovereign Body."
Boom!
A wave of majestic star pressure erupted from him, and the central stage trembled. Above his head, an enormous illusory star palace took shape. It stood among galaxies, encircled by nine vast stars, and at its center rose a throne forged from condensed starlight.
The throne did not look tyrannical the way Aurelian’s Heavenly Luminance Divine Dominion did, and it did not feel suppressive like Rosaline’s Dawn Sovereign Sanctuary. Instead, it felt grand, noble, and nearly immeasurable, as though Orion had borrowed the ancient authority of the starry heavens and set that authority directly into his own flesh.
Across the Divine Realm, countless spectators rose from their seats, and at the Nine Star Court, the disciples and elders erupted into roaring cheers.
"The Nine Star Sovereign Body!"
"Senior Brother Orion has revealed it!"
"That is one of the strongest Pseudo Cosmic Paths in the Divine Realm!"
"It is no ordinary star technique. Once he enters that state, every star he controls bees part of his body!"
"Long range, close bat, movement, defense, and suppression all bee star power!"
Inside the Eternal Hourglass, every one of the top geniuses grew serious.
Damian Voss’s gaze sharpened. "So that is his path."
Kaiden Voidmere narrowed his eyes. "The stars are no longer traveling toward Revona. They have already converged into him, and that changes the very nature of the attack."
Ervin studied Orion with a deeper gaze. "It turns a long-range star cultivator into a close bat monster."
Rakan Thorne grinned as his battle intent visibly climbed again. "Good. That guy was hiding something fun."
Morgana Starveil’s eyes flickered. "The Nine Star Court truly raised a terrifying genius."
Max watched in silence. He had always known Orion was strong, yet this Pseudo Cosmic Path still managed to surprise him. The Nine Star Sovereign Body was not flashy in any shallow sense. Its majesty came from the fact that it solved the greatest weakness of a star-based long-range fighter.
Orion’s ordinary methods could be erased by Revona’s Void Origin Eyes before they ever arrived, but once the stars entered his body, every punch, step, elbow, palm, and knee became a star attack delivered through direct physical contact.
Revona could nullify attacks that traveled toward her. But could she erase a star that had already bee part of Orion’s body? That was the real question.
Revona’s Void Origin Eyes shone brighter. "You chose a good path," she said calmly.
Orion smiled faintly. "I had no choice. A person of the Nine Star Court is supposed to mand the stars from above, but I never liked having only one way to fight."
Revona raised one hand. "Then e."
Orion vanished. He did not move the way a normal body cultivator moved. His movement resembled a shooting star crossing a stretch of night sky. One moment he stood at a distance, and the next he appeared directly in front of Revona with his fist wrapped in condensed starlight.
Revona’s eyes locked onto that fist, and the starlight around it dimmed, yet it did not vanish pletely. Orion’s fist still arrived. Revona slid sideways, and the blow brushed past her shoulder. The star force packed inside it struck the air behind her and detonated into a brilliant ring of light that set the barrier trembling.
Orion’s eyes brightened. "So direct star force can be weakened, but it cannot be erased instantly."
Revona gave no answer. Her eyes flickered, and a ripple of void spread toward Orion’s chest. Had that ripple touched him, it would have tried to nullify the star power converged within his body, but Orion had already stepped clear.
The third star in his spine flashed, and his body cut away along a sharp diagonal, trailing a brief streak of blue and white light behind him.
He attacked again. His palm, his elbow, his knee, and his finger strike each carried a different star. The palm bore the crushing pressure of a dead star, the elbow carried the sharpness of a meteor, the knee burned with solar force, and the finger strike moved with the pressed speed of a et.
Revona’s Void Origin Eyes worked without pause. Wherever her gaze fell, the star force weakened, distorted, or dimmed. Yet the attacks no longer disappeared as easily as they once had. Orion’s stars were not beams crossing open air anymore.
They had already fused into his body, and by the time Revona’s gaze reached them, they had bee part of his movement, his flesh, and his martial rhythm.
The battle accelerated. Orion circled Revona like a living constellation, while Revona stayed posed, stepping back, turning, and raising her hands only when it became necessary.
Her Void Origin Eyes still erased a great deal of his force, but she could no longer stand motionless the way she had beneath the Thousand Star Rain. Now she had to move, she had to predict, and she had to decide which part of each attack to nullify first.
