Now reading: Chapter 198 Crimson Havoc from Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100, a Fantasy novel by ShinGotLost.

Max caught the scroll and read its na.

"Crimson Havoc Fist: Sevenfold Slaughter Technique."

The mont he held the scroll—

He felt it.

A cold, eerie aura pulsed from within it.

Max's eyes narrowed.

"What's so dangerous about it?"

His voice was calm, but he was genuinely curious.

The blob's expression remained grave, its liquid body shifting uneasily.

Then, in a solemn tone, it spoke—

"Master ntioned that this fist technique requires one to possess Slaughter Aura before even attempting to practice it."

Max's brows furrowed.

The blob continued—

"If soone doesn't have Slaughter Aura but still tries to practice it… then they will inevitably lose themselves to the technique."

Max's grip on the scroll tightened.

"They will go mad—controlled by the slaughter aura inside the technique, losing all human emotions."

Max felt a chill run down his spine.

"In the end…"

The blob's voice was eerily quiet as it delivered the final words.

"They would beco nothing more than a puppet—one that only knows how to slaughter. A puppet of pure destruction."

Max's eyes widened in shock.

"A Technique That Controls the User?"

He had never expected that a technique could be this dangerous.

And now, he was holding one in his hands.

A technique so deadly, it could strip a person of their mind, emotions, and will—turning them into a mindless slaughtering machine.

His voice was filled with disbelief as he looked at the blob.

"How could a technique control soone?"

A short pause—

Then, he added—

"That sounds absurd!"

The blob shook its head, its expression grim.

"There is nothing absurd about it."

Max listened carefully, sensing the weight behind the blob's words.

"Slaughter Aura is one of the many forbidden auras in this world."

A short pause—

Then, the blob's voice deepened.

"It is born from the accumulation of endless bloodshed and carnage."

Max's eyes narrowed.

The blob's form trembled slightly, as if recalling sothing unpleasant.

"It is very dangerous because it gradually corrodes the wielder's sanity, pushing them into an endless thirst for bloodshed and destruction."

Max felt a chill.

"The more one relies on it, the more it seeps into their soul—"

"Turning them into little more than a mindless beast driven by slaughter."

The blob's voice grew colder.

"Those who cannot resist its influence eventually lose themselves."

Max remained silent, absorbing every word.

"They beco nothing more than war-driven monsters—unable to distinguish friend from foe."

A long pause.

Then—

"Therefore, there are only a handful of people in history who have ever comprehended Slaughter Aura."

The blob's eyes darkened.

"And even they were… more or less had gone insane."

The blob turned to Max, its liquid body rippling.

"But there is a 99% chance that anyone who tries to comprehend this aura will go mad—never to recover again in their life."

Its eyes turned sharp adding—

"And this technique… possesses the Concept of Slaughter itself."

Max's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Concept of Slaughter?"

His voice was quiet, but the shock in his tone was unmistakable.

He understood better than anyone—

An Aura was powerful.

But a Concept…

A Concept was an entirely different realm of power.

'It's like comparing a vast ocean of water… to a single drop.'

Simply uncomparable.

Max had seen what Auras could do.

He had witnessed firsthand how powerful Lightning Aura, Fla Aura, Sword Aura, and even Space Aura could be.

Yet even the strongest Aura was only a fragnt—

A re shadow of what a Concept could beco.

His fingers tightened around the blood-red scroll.

If just Slaughter Aura could drive people to madness…

Then what would happen to soone who grasped the Concept of Slaughter?

Max shuddered at the thought.

Would their very soul beco a vessel of endless bloodshed?

Would they even remain human?

Max had always pushed himself toward strength.

But this…

This was sothing beyond just power.

This was power that would devour the wielder whole.

A technique so cursed that even the previous owner of the temple—a man powerful enough to stand above countless warriors—

Refused to practice it.

Max took a deep breath, his eyes flickering between hesitation and temptation.

"If one does not already possess Slaughter Aura…"

The blob's voice dropped to a whisper—

"And they try practicing this technique…"

"Then the Concept of Slaughter inside the technique will consu them—"

"Turning them berserk… forever."

Max took a deep breath, staring at the blood-red scroll in his hands.

He understood now.

This wasn't just a powerful technique.

It was a cursed technique.

A technique that tempted its wielder with overwhelming strength—

At the cost of their very sanity.

'A strong technique but at a risk.'

Max's mind raced.

The Crimson Havoc Fist: Sevenfold Slaughter Technique was without a doubt an insanely powerful technique—

But it ca at a terrifying cost.

Would he take the risk?

Max exhaled slowly, calming the storm of thoughts in his mind.

'I will think about it later.'

This wasn't a decision he could rush.

For now—

He would keep the technique with him.

After all—

Both the Voidborne Edge: Sevenfold Sword Technique and Crimson Havoc Fist: Sevenfold Slaughter Technique were Epic Rank techniques.

No matter how dangerous the second one was,

Max couldn't simply leave them behind.

"I'll keep them for now."

His voice was firm as he glanced at the blob.

The blob glared at him, its liquid form rippling with discontent.

Then, in a stern tone, it warned—

"Don't get greedy. Otherwise, you won't even have the chance to regret it."

Max nodded solemnly.

"I understand."

His voice was serious.

He wouldn't risk his life for power.

Not recklessly.

Not without fully understanding the consequences.

For now—

These techniques would remain sealed away.

And when the ti ca—

He would decide whether he had the strength to wield them…

Or whether they were better left untouched.

Max shook off his thoughts and focused back on the task at hand.

"Let's continue our search."

His eyes swept across the overwhelming piles of treasures as he resud digging through them.

The blob, too, went back to rummaging.

Max noticed sothing amusing as he worked—

The blob's expressions constantly changed depending on what it found.

Sotis it would frown in disappointnt.

Sotis it would chuckle greedily, as if it had found sothing valuable.

And sotis—it would just eat the treasures outright.

Max smiled, shaking his head.

'This guy just love treasures.'

As he shifted through various scrolls, his eyes caught sothing interesting.

A skill scroll titled—

Lightning Steps.

A movent-type skill that utilized lightning to enhance speed and reflexes.

Without hesitation, Max picked it up.

He didn't even think twice and learned it on the spot.

'Good, with this skill, my speed on the ground will increase even more.'

With that satisfaction in mind, he continued searching, hoping to find even more useful things.

Ti passed quickly as he and the blob dug through the endless wealth of artifacts, scrolls, and weapons.

Eventually—

They left the treasury room, both wearing satisfied smiles.

The blob chuckled, its liquid body shifting as it spoke.

"I didn't know you had almost infinite space in your storage artifact."

It shook its head in mock frustration.

"Otherwise, I would have asked you to take everything away at once!"

Max shrugged, his expression relaxed.

"Yeah… but it's good that we inspected almost all the treasures inside first."

He gave the blob a knowing smile.

"That way, even if they're all with … I know what treasures I possess and what I don't."

The blob paused, then nodded in agreent.

"True."
