Blob answered right away. His tone calm, matter-of-fact.

"A Bone Fra is the energy left behind when a Supre Expert dies."

Max didn't interrupt. He let Blob continue.

"This energy stays underground. Locked there for tens of thousands of years. Maybe more."

"And then?" Max asked.

"It condenses," Blob replied. "Turns into a crystal. Usually a smooth glass bead. That's the Bone Fra you know."

Max rembered Klaus showing him one. Small. Quiet. Innocent-looking.

"Most Bone Fras are just energy," Blob continued. "No soul. No thought. Just power. The will of the expert usually fades away long before it condenses."

Max nodded. That made sense.

"But not always," Blob said. "There are exceptions."

Max raised an eyebrow. "What kind of exceptions?"

"Sotis… the soul refuses to disappear," Blob said. "Maybe the expert was too strong. Maybe they practiced so twisted technique. Whatever the reason, their soul clings to the world."

Max frowned. He didn't like where this was going.

"Over ti, that soul doesn't just vanish. It weakens, yes. But it lingers. And one day, it fuses with the Bone Fra."

"And that creates the Sinful Bone Fra?"

Blob confird. "Exactly. It's different. Dangerous."

"How so?"

"It has a mind of its own. A weak one, but still there. It acts on instinct. It doesn't wait for soone to find it. It hunts. It kills. It absorbs the blood essence of experts to restore itself."

"And if it absorbs enough…?"

"It evolves," Blob said. "It can beco sothing far worse. A real infernal demon."

Max's expression darkened.

The scene from earlier played again in his mind.

That genius tearing his own body apart.

No fight. No resistance. Just death.

Max inhaled slowly. "Is the Sinful Bone Fra considered high-grade?"

Blob paused for a mont. "No. Not exactly. It's not the highest tier. But it's a high-level middle-grade Bone Fra. One of the rarest in the world."

He added, voice now filled with temptation, "If you can obtain it, it would help you break through the Gate of Life much faster. And… it's perfect for soul cultivation. Just holding it could make your soul stronger."

Max looked down, quiet.

"It doesn't matter," he said. "I nearly died. It's not worth it."

He knew his limits. This was too much.

Blob chuckled softly. "You're not wrong. Normally, soone at your level shouldn't even be able to touch sothing like this."

"But you're not normal."

Max turned back to him, confused.

"You have an Orange Soul," Blob said. "That… changes everything."

Max's thoughts stirred the mont he heard Blob's next words.

"The biggest difference between a normal Bone Fra and a Sinful one," Blob began, "is that the Sinful Bone Fra contains a soul."

He paused, letting that settle.

"A real soul. One that belonged to a Supre Expert. It's not just energy anymore. It's alive. And it has instinct."

Max's expression turned serious.

"After gaining its own consciousness," Blob continued, "the Sinful Bone Fra hunts. It doesn't wait around to be found like the others. It moves on its own. It finds experts. Kills them. Absorbs their blood essence to strengthen itself."

Max's eyes narrowed. The mory of the dying youth flashed through his mind.

"It's like a spider," Blob said. "It builds a web and waits. Once soone enters its trap, it strikes. Not with claws or magic—"

"But with the soul," Max muttered.

"Exactly," Blob nodded. "That fool beside you died in his Soul Palace. That's why he didn't resist. His body never got the ssage."

Max fell into thought. Slowly, he spoke, "But that doesn't make sense. I'm not strong enough. My soul force is still in the thread stage. That ancient expert must've reached a much higher level. I shouldn't be able to stand against it."

Blob's face twisted into a knowing smirk. "You're right. That expert was terrifying in his pri. His soul cultivation was likely far beyond yours. But…"

He leaned forward.

"That was hundreds of thousands of years ago."

Max blinked.

Blob explained, "Even the strongest soul breaks down with ti. Maybe not right away. But after tens of thousands of years sealed underground, that kind of will… it weakens."

"The Sinful Bone Fra still carries that soul, yes—but it's not the sa soul anymore. Not the Emperor. Not the powerhouse who once shook the world."

"What is it now?" Max asked.

"A husk," Blob said coldly. "A blood demon. All instincts. All hunger. No real thought. It devours blood essence to rebuild itself. That's all it knows."

Max clenched his fist, rembering how close he ca to death.

"So its true strength isn't even close to what it once was?"

"Not even close," Blob said. "If it had been? You wouldn't be standing here. You broke out of its trap, Max. That alone proves it. You're already on equal ground with it."

Blob's words made Max's heart stir.

If he could really capture the Sinful Bone Fra…

He wouldn't just gain a rare treasure.

He'd fulfill the final condition to awaken a unique physique.

He'd step into the Adept Rank instantly.

And his strength—

It would soar to a whole new level.

The thought alone made his breath quicken.

"How can I find it?" Max asked, eyes focused.

Blob chuckled. "Hehehe… just follow my instructions, and you'll be fine."

Then his tone changed slightly.

"But I have one condition."

Max raised a brow. "What is it?"

Blob grinned. "Once we obtain the Sinful Bone Fra… I get half."

Max didn't hesitate. "Alright."

There wasn't even a pause in his answer.

The Sinful Bone Fra was a treasure linked to soul force.

Naturally, it would benefit Blob, who _was_ a soul-based being.

Besides, without Blob guiding him, Max wouldn't have survived the encounter earlier—

Let alone considered going back in.

They were in this together.

They always had been.

Back in the temple, Blob had helped him countless tis—

In training, in combat, in comprehension.

Sharing this was fair.

Right.

"Good," Blob said, clearly pleased. "Then listen carefully…"

The thod for capturing the Sinful Bone Fra was surprisingly simple.

Not easy—

But simple.

Max morized each step.

It didn't require any elaborate formations or heavy rituals.

The key… was in the timing.

He needed to lure it out.

Let it attempt to invade his Soul Palace—

Then strike in that exact mont.

It would be risky.

Extrely risky.

But it was possible.

And that was all Max needed.

After confirming the plan, Max stood.

His steps were calm. Controlled.

The others were still resting.

So hadn't recovered from what happened.

Max didn't disturb them.

He walked alone.

Straight toward the place they had nearly died in—

Back into the heart of the black fog.

Back to where the Sinful Bone Fra waited.

But before he could fully move, soone saw him.

"Max, where are you going?"

Old Man Grey's voice rang out sharply across the camp. His eyes followed Max's figure as the boy silently walked away from the group. Toward the fog.

That fog.

The sa one that nearly killed them all.

Grey felt a chill crawl down his spine. He didn't even try to hide the disbelief in his voice.

Max stopped, slowly turning his head to the side.

"I have sothing to take care of," he said evenly. "I'll be going alone from here."

Grey blinked. "You'll be what?"
