But their frantic protests hung in the air like smoke dissipating on a breeze, for neither Thunder Lord nor Tower Lord Mathew spoke up in their defense this ti; both n stood silent, their expressions dark and brooding, because as experts who had long stepped into the Divine Rank, they possessed senses sharp enough to cut through illusions and hidden strength.

They could see with absolute certainty that Max’s aura held no deeper layers, no hidden fluctuations—it was precisely and only the aura of soone at the 8th level of Master Rank, pure and unembellished, leaving them caught in a web of contradictions between their own instincts and the words of their subordinates.

Just then, a voice like a cannon blast split the tense air, echoing off the invisible boundaries of the vast sky above Misty City as a powerful, commanding tone shouted, "Alright, let’s end this facade for now!"

Heads snapped around as two groups moved forward in perfect unison through the air, the insignias of the Hunter Association and the Obsidian Order gleaming on their robes and banners, their combined presence radiating a formidable weight that instantly commanded respect and silence, and at the front of this unified advance floated President William, the venerable leader of the Hunter Association, his tall figure radiating calm authority as his sharp eyes swept across the crowd.

The mont his words fell, a hush spread over the entire gathering like a blanket dropped from the heavens, smothering the rising murmur of voices as thousands of experts from every overlord force fell into watchful silence, aware that this was no ordinary intervention.

Even Thunder Lord and Tower Lord Mathew fell quiet, though their eyes burned with lingering fury as they turned to cast Max dark, threatening glares, silent promises of vengeance glinting in their gaze, before they finally withdrew several steps, retreating toward the ranks of their own forces.

"Master, it is true that it was Max who killed June," Frank whispered urgently, leaning closer to Tower Lord Mathew, his voice trembling just slightly despite the savage conviction gleaming in his eyes.

Tower Lord Mathew’s cold eyes flickered over to him for a mont, his lips curling into a sneer as he shook his head with quiet disdain, replying in a low voice that thrumd with dark satisfaction, "You don’t have to worry about Max. His presence here is obviously connected to the secret domain, and if he dares to enter it—he will never co out again."

His expression twisted into sothing sinister, the lines of his face shadowed by the glow of the swirling purple portal, as he continued his words via voice transmission, sending the lethal promise straight into Frank’s mind, a silent ploy to ensure Max’s death inside the domain where no external laws or politics could save him, and where battles and bloodshed were as common as breathing.

Frank’s lips parted into a vicious grin as he nodded fervently, replying through the secret channel, "Leave it to , Master. I’ll go and tell the senior brothers and sisters about this so they’ll be ready."

And as he drifted back toward his group, his eyes glead with the cold fire of vengeance, lingering for one last heartbeat on Max’s figure before he disappeared into the ranks of the Void Soul Tower mbers, already plotting how best to lure Max into a fatal confrontation.

anwhile, a nearly identical undercurrent rippled through the ranks of the Thunder Monarch Hall, where Thunder Lord, towering and broad-shouldered, leaned down slightly to speak in a voice as low and lethal as the rumble of distant thunder, his eyes narrow slits of ruthless intent as he commanded, "Just kill him in the secret domain. At that ti, I want to see if Hers will dare to stand up for him."

His words dripped with a cruel certainty, because although he still struggled to reconcile how soone with the strength of rely an 8th-level Master Rank could have possibly slain both a 3-star genius and a Heaven Grade genius, he refused to believe his own mbers would fabricate such a monuntal lie, and he’d decided that if Max had truly accomplished such impossible murders once, he was far too dangerous to leave alive.

Josh, who stood at his side, nodded grimly, his mouth tightening into a cruel smile as his eyes glowed with murderous purpose, and he shot a look filled with quiet promise at Max before turning away, murmuring, "I’ll inform the senior brothers and sisters about this," before striding back to rge with the sea of Thunder Monarch Hall disciples, his entire deanor humming with silent threats.

Max, anwhile, his face cold and eyes sharp as he watched the subtle, venomous glances being exchanged among his enemies, and though he noted the sneer curling across Josh’s lips, he did not allow it to linger in his thoughts for more than a fleeting mont, for he could sense the shifting tides of intent pressing in around him from all sides, and he knew he’d just beco a marked man the mont he stepped into the secret domain.

With a small exhale, he drifted over to stand beside Princess Lyra, who regarded him with eyes dark and probing, her expression complex as countless emotions swirled behind the calm façade she presented to the watching world, and she tilted her head ever so slightly as her voice slipped quietly into his mind through a private voice transmission, gentle yet edged with steel, as she asked, "Did you really kill them?"

Max t her gaze without a single flinch, his voice equally calm and utterly unrepentant as he answered via the sa silent channel, "Yeah. Both of them tried to kill first, but they failed. So I killed them instead."

His eyes didn’t waver, his words delivered like cold facts rather than confessions, and though Princess Lyra said nothing imdiately, her silence seed to crackle with a thousand questions unspoken as she continued to study him.

Princess Lyra was visibly shocked, the slight widening of her eyes and the subtle parting of her lips betraying the fact that, although she had strongly suspected Max had indeed killed Julio and June, hearing him admit it so bluntly, without even the slightest hint of remorse, was an entirely different matter that struck her like a sudden gust of icy wind, leaving her montarily speechless before she finally found her voice and let out a quiet exhale, murmuring under her breath, "Damn, you are truly a monster."

Her words were half awe, half admonishnt, as she studied the young man standing so calmly beside her, his posture relaxed and his expression unbothered, as though admitting to the deaths of powerful geniuses was no more significant than comnting on the weather.
