Max nodded slowly, absorbing her words. "I see. Makes sense. Nobody gives away priceless information without getting sothing in return."

Lyra inclined her head slightly in agreent before pointing toward one of the many corridors branching out from the circular hall. "Go into any of these corridors, and you’ll find soone waiting for you. Each path leads to a private chamber where you’ll et a representative of the Order."

Max cast a quick glance around before choosing a corridor at random. His footsteps echoed lightly against the polished floor as he walked deeper into the tower. The air seed to grow quieter, heavier, as though the walls themselves were listening. Eventually, he stepped into a small, sparsely furnished room.

The design was traditional and almost minimalist—there was only a single low cushion and a small table before it. Yet the arrangent carried a sense of deliberate formality, as if every detail served a purpose.

A thick curtain of heavy fabric hung from the middle of the room, dividing it into two equal halves. Max stood on one side, while on the other, the faint silhouette of a seated figure could be seen. The dim light cast just enough shadow to hide details, but he could tell from the outline that it was a woman. She sat with perfect poise, her presence calm yet strangely commanding.

"Young Master Max... or should I say... White Death?" The voice that ca from behind the curtain was smooth and lodious, like a gentle lody carried on the wind. Yet despite its beauty, it sent an unmistakable chill racing down Max’s spine.

He froze for a heartbeat, his expression hardening. How did she know? The last ti he had co to the Battle Realm, he had used the alias "White Death"—an identity known only to a select few. He had never openly revealed that it was him, and he had been careful enough to ensure no one could connect the dots.

The fact that she had addressed him so casually, as though she had known all along, made it clear—this woman’s knowledge was no ordinary thing. The Obsidian Order truly lived up to its reputation.

Thinking over everything she had just revealed about his identity, Max took a quiet breath and stepped forward, lowering himself onto the cushion before the low table. His posture was calm, but his mind was sharp, already turning over the implications of the Obsidian Order knowing so much about him. Without wasting ti, he voiced his purpose.

"I want to know the location of a Dark Elf who most likely appeared sowhere in the Middle Domain within the last half year," Max said evenly, his gaze fixed on the silhouette behind the curtain. "Her current strength should be at the peak of Legend Rank, and her na, as an elf, was Lenavira."

On the other side, the woman fell silent. The stillness stretched for several monts, enough to make the quiet hum of the tower’s interior feel heavier. Then, her lodic voice ca again—smooth but carrying an underlying weight of authority.

"One thousand PQ for this information," she began. But before Max could respond, she continued, "However... Master has given explicit instructions. Any information that Young Master Max wishes to know shall be delivered free of cost. The only condition is that the information must not pertain to the Obsidian Order itself."

Max blinked, montarily stunned. Even knowing how vast and unfathomable the Obsidian Order’s influence was, this went beyond what he expected. They were a force so secretive that even the Four God Nation tread cautiously around them, and yet, here they were, granting him free access to their resources—a privilege that in the Middle Domain was practically unheard of.

This wasn’t just a small courtesy; this was a direct favor of imnse value, one that others might be willing to pay fortunes for.

As Max sat there in silent disbelief, still weighing what this ant, the voice on the other side returned. "The Dark Elf you seek appears to be in the Greenwood Region."

Max’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Greenwood Region?" He rembered it well—it was one of the territories controlled by the Void Soul Tower.

The woman’s tone softened, but there was an edge of warning in her words. "A piece of advice for Young Master Max—this information about the Dark Elf... it is likely being intentionally circulated across the Middle Domain."

Max’s expression darkened, his brows drawing together. The fact that the news was being deliberately spread ant there was a purpose behind it—likely a trap or so sche ant to draw attention. "Thank you for the warning," he said firmly, aning it.

But he wasn’t done. Since this unique opportunity allowed him to request anything without cost, he leaned forward slightly, his tone shifting. "Since I have this privilege, there’s sothing else I want to know. Tell where I can find locations of extre temperatures—places of such intense cold or searing heat that even Divine Rank experts could die if they are not careful."

After a brief silence, the woman’s voice flowed through the curtain once more, calm yet carrying a weight of warning. "There is a place of extre heat located within the Phoenix God Nation. It is known as the Phoenix Rebirth Abode. The environnt there is unlike anywhere else—temperatures so intense that even Divine Rank experts can be reduced to ash if they are careless. However... that place is not sowhere one can simply walk into. It is heavily guarded, shrouded in restrictions, and strictly off-limits to outsiders."

"Phoenix Rebirth Abode..." Max repeated under his breath, committing the na to mory. His mind was already moving ahead, weaving this into his plans. In half a year, he would be heading toward the Four God Nation anyway.

Once there, no matter the obstacles, he would find a way into the Phoenix Rebirth Abode. Even if it ant breaking rules, slipping past restrictions, or clashing with those who stood in his way—he would make sure he entered that place at all costs.
