Mindy was lying on the couch in her room back on her Earth. Her legs hung over the armrest, a bowl of chips beside her, while the screen in front of her showed one of Gaius's old mission broadcasts. She wasn't even watching seriously. It was background noise. She enjoyed the heavy tal stomps, the bolter fire, the way the giant space marines moved like living tanks. It felt like watching action movies… except it was all real.
She watched one mont in particular where Gaius and his squad launched from a drop pod and smashed straight into an Iron Warriors-held vessel. Every ti she saw that clip, she grinned.
"That part's so cool…"
The drop pod punched through a hull plate like it was paper. Then the hatch blew off, smoke rushed out, and the Ultramarines stord forward with perfect timing, bolters raised, firing in short controlled bursts, blue armor gleaming against the dark tal of the warship.
Mindy paused the video.
Then a mischievous idea surfaced in her mind.
"…What if I upload just this part?"
She knew it wasn't so huge secret, Gaius had broadcast the mission live at the ti. Anyone in the chat group had seen it. But on her Earth? Nobody knew what an Ultramarine was. Nobody knew what a drop pod was. Nobody knew what Astartes ant.
It would look like…
Like CGI from a movie never released.
The thought made her laugh.
Without hesitation, she opened her video editor and trimd the broadcast down. She cut out the parts where people talked, cut out the long tactical exchanges, cut out anything too heavy. She left only the short, two-minute sequence of:
—The drop pod entering atmosphere
—The brutal entry through the enemy warship
—The Ultramarines punching through servitors
—Gaius smashing an augnted slave's head like a lon
It was clean, fast, and absurdly cool.
She exported it, nad the file ULTRAMARINE_clip…
And then created a new YouTube channel:
ULTRAMARINE
No profile picture.
No banner.
No description.
She uploaded the video and pressed Post.
"Okay… done." She dusted her hands and stretched. "Let's see… maybe ten views? Fifty? Whatever."
She turned off her PC and went to sleep without thinking about it again.
Across her Earth, miles away, a well-known content creator nad Zion sat in his studio. Two monitors lit his face, the LED lights behind him glowing blue. He was scrolling through trending tags, looking for new videos to react to.
Baking fails.
Cody.
Drama.
News.
Nothing caught his eye.
Then one random video popped up.
No title.
Just "ULTRAMARINE" and a thumbnail of blue futuristic armor.
"What the…?" Zion leaned closer. "This looks like so sci-fi movie trailer."
Curiosity won. He clicked.
There was no intro. No talking. No text.
The video began instantly with a massive drop pod launching from a ship, fire and tal streaking past the cara.
"What is THIS quality?!" Zion said, leaning forward.
The pod slamd through a giant armored fortress in space, sparks and debris flying everywhere. The hatch blew open. Ultra-detailed armored giants stord out like living tanks.
Zion's jaw dropped.
"Bro… bro… there is NO WAY this is fan-made CGI. This looks like a legit Hollywood trailer!"
One augnted Iron Warriors slave charged at the blue armored figure in front, Gaius, though Zion didn't know the na. The Astartes didn't flinch. He swung one armored fist, eting the slave mid-air.
The head exploded like a crushed fruit.
Zion shouted, "WHAT?! THE IMPACT! The SPEED! This looks better than half the movies coming out this year!"
The bolter shots echoed. Ultramarines moved with flawless discipline. The musicless, raw sound made it twice as intense.
Then the clip cut to black.
Only 2 minutes and 14 seconds long.
Zion stared at the screen. Then he checked the uploader:
ULTRAMARINE
—No profile picture
—No banner
—Only one video
—ZERO other uploads
"Wait… what? This is your FIRST video?!" he said, shocked. "Is this from an unreleased film? A ga trailer? What studio made this?!"
He imdiately comnted:
"What movie is this from? When does it co out???"
Then he smashed the subscribe button.
And he wasn't done.
He made a reaction video instantly, him shouting, shocked, analyzing the scene, replaying the punch ten tis. He shared it to his Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Within hours, the clip started spreading.
People were asking:
"Is this Warhamr?"
"No way this is fan-made."
"Hollywood can't do CGI like this."
"This is insane!"
"Why does the armor look so REAL?"
"Is this dude leaking a top-secret movie?"
By the next morning…
The video had gone viral.
Three days later…
Mindy returned ho after a short mission with her father. She dropped her bag on the floor, turned on her PC, and opened YouTube casually.
Then she froze.
"Eh…?"
Her ULTRAMARINE channel…
Had 40,000 subscribers.
Her single video…
Had 5.2 million views.
She stared at the screen, mouth open.
"…HUH?!"
She clicked the comnts. There were thousands.
"THIS HAS TO BE FROM A MOVIE RIGHT???"
"NO WAY THIS CGI IS FAN-MADE."
"WHEN IS THIS RELEASING?!"
"UPLOADER ABOUT TO GET SUED LMAO."
"RESPECT TO WHOEVER LEAKED THIS."
"THIS IS THE MOST GRIMDARK TRAILER EVER."
"UPLOADER ARE YOU ALIVE???"
Mindy grabbed her hair with both hands.
"I didn't think it'd blow up THIS much! I didn't even edit it that well! It was just a cool clip!"
Her heart raced.
She jumped straight into the Multiversal Chat.
[Mindy]: guys! guess what!!
[Mindy]: i uploaded a clip of gaius from his old live broadcast and it reached 5 MILLION views!!
Diana was sipping tea in her Apartnt, when she saw the ssage.
[Diana]: what was the reaction?
[Mindy]: they all think it's from a movie hehe
Tony, who had just opened the chat, blinked.
[Tony]: oh… is this okay?
Mindy paused.
[Mindy]: okay what?
Tony typed slowly.
[Tony]: is it okay to upload Gaius's broadcast to your world… without his permission?
Mindy stopped breathing for a mont.
Her soul left her body.
[Mindy]: @Gaius IM SORRY I DIDN'T ASK FOR PERMISSION, I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS COOL PLEASE DON'T BE MAD
Inside his private quarters, the multiversal interface blinked open. Gaius read the ssages calmly.
He responded:
Gaius: It is fine.
Mindy slumped over her desk in relief.
[Mindy]: thank you Gaius!!
Gaius didn't mind. He had been broadcasting missions knowing they might be discovered eventually. After learning about the internet in Tony's house, he expected sothing like this to happen sooner or later.
Tony, seeing Gaius finally respond after staying quiet for days, used the mont.
[Tony]: Gaius, are you on a mission right now?
Gaius replied simply: Yes
Tony grinned behind his screen.
[Tony]: Perfect. I made equipnt for you. Rember the first ti you ca here and used as a flying carrier? I've been thinking about it ever since.
Mindy perked up.
Tony continued:
[Tony]: It's a flight pack. Connects to your back. Powered by two arc reactors. Sa flight system as my suit, repulsor thrusters.
[Tony]: Two main thrusters on the backpack, and 2–4 micro nozzles for balance.
[Tony]: High-speed flight for 30–40 minutes before heat buildup. I made it to match your weapon loadout perfectly.
Gaius read the specs silently.
Gaius: Thank you. This is far superior to the jump packs we use.
Tony smirked.
[Tony]: Of course it is. It's made by , Tony Stark.
Then:
[Tony]: Gaius, broadcast it when you use it, okay? I want to see how it performs. I tested it only in simulations.
Gaius nodded to himself.
Gaius: I will begin a live broadcast before the mission starts.
