Chapter 1224: Chapter 1225: Qiyun Mountain
Seeing Chen Xin co back with a small bag of sothing, Qi Chen thought she had grown closer with Feng Yuan. However, Dou Yanlan pulled at the eager Qi Chen and shook her head. Although puzzled, Qi Chen did not press forward.
Bai You saw the trace of disappointnt on Chen Xin’s face and naturally understood. But then again, wasn’t there no hope from the start? With regards to this, she didn’t feel there was anything to be concerned about—Feng Yuan was too mysterious. His background, his strength, and his actions… she did not hope for anything real between Chen Xin and Feng Yuan. But then again, that was Chen Xin’s own matter, and Bai You did not feel it was her place to interfere.
Moreover, she understood that her ability to remain calm about Chen Xin’s affairs was simply because they did not concern her personally. But what if it were to involve her directly? Bai You couldn’t help thinking—she had never thought about restraint because it was aningless to do so. Letting things take their natural course—that was her philosophy.
“I’m a bit confused about you… what exactly are you thinking?”
From within the crowd, Qi Chen whispered to Feng Yuan, patting Xiao Ji on the head. Feng Yuan, hugging Xiao Ji, looked at Qi Chen and said,
“I can’t make promises to anyone. What do you think?”
Agunas swung its tail and looked at Feng Yuan, saying,
“You can, moreover, if you were that indifferent, then what about it? Do you truly not care about it?”
Xiao Ji looked bewilderedly at Agunas and then at Feng Yuan, not really understanding what was happening. Rubbing its head against Feng Yuan, Xiao Ji let out a soft cry, seemingly comforting him. “You… don’t go doing anything too risky, really, if there’s a problem, they should be able to solve it.”

Divine Beasts generally only have a human form, could it be that his appearance as a dog is his true form? That seems utterly implausible.

Dou Yanlan spoke from the side, understanding that they surely wouldn’t be allowed up the mountain. Unless the locals were crazy, they would not do such a thing. Considering the high value of top-grade Yun tea, they wouldn’t dare to take risks, but if it’s at the foot of the mountain, there wouldn’t be so much hassle—as long as they are cautious. And amongst Beastmasters who appreciate Yun tea, there are quite a few who might also wish to visit Qiyun Mountain. Surely, it couldn’t be completely off-limits?
“There’s a resort there too? That’s odd.”
Scratching his head, Feng Yuan was also sowhat puzzled. That place doesn’t seem to have anything interesting enough for a resort holiday. Is the environnt really that good? Unable to figure it out, Feng Yuan didn’t bother to ponder any longer; they would understand when they got there. Besides, there must be sothing distinctive about it.
“Indeed, there is such a resort, but it is not open to the public. Even locally, not everyone knows how to stay there. Choosing that place is a bit unexpected to .”
Zhong Liuyan spoke up, saying that the place wasn’t exactly hidden, it was just that due to the lack of public promotion, only people with status knew of and visited the place. As for whether to worry if he would get lost, that wasn’t much of an issue, not to ntion that Feng Yuan had a phone, and even if he did get lost, weren’t Agunas and the others there?
They also followed Feng Yuan and didn’t ride in the car; after all, no matter how fast Xiao Ji flew, the speed was just so, and it wasn’t difficult for Agunas and its companions to keep up.
Little Ice Cream sat dissatisfied on Big Cat’s head, very unhappy about being left behind again.
