Seeing Long Boduo’s casual attitude, Feng Yuan shook his head and simply packed the materials away. As for what to make, that could wait until they returned.
After taking a good rest, the group dove back into the water. This ti, following Delong Tower, they toured the unique underwater world. Unlike their imaginations, the seascape below was vastly different from the land.

“You wouldn’t be—”
“I’ll be leaving shortly. Delong Tower, could you take them on a tour of the Black Sea? If it gets dull, they could head over to Oilia instead. The visas are all sorted, aren’t they?”
Feng Yuan smirked with pride at the end of his words. Normally, tourist visas need to be applied for individually by country, but with Agunas’ help, he managed to handle everything under the Alliance’s terms. As long as those countries remained part of the Alliance, they had to accept the general visas granted by it.
With those Alliance-granted visas, Qi Chen and the others could easily enter most Oilia nations. However, since the visas were applied through Divine Beasts, technically speaking, border crossings would require the appearance of a Divine Beast.
Still, with Delong Tower leading their tour, this wouldn’t truly pose an issue. Although, to begin with, this arrangent was more of formality than necessity.
“Leaving? Border issues, right?”
Yang Hongzhi’s cheerful smile faded as he gazed at Feng Yuan. After spending a joyous day with Najia, he had almost forgotten about the border matters. He hadn’t expected Feng Yuan to be heading out so soon to deal with them.
“Be careful out there.”
Dou Yanlan looked at Feng Yuan and couldn’t help but remind him. Though she understood Feng Yuan’s strength, border incidents were unpredictable. No one knew what might happen in the end. Even the strongest warriors could fall in unexpected circumstances.
“Don’t worry~”
Feng Yuan waved his hand, signaling that he understood. Agunas flicked his tail and said,
“I’ll accompany you to check out the situation.”
“As for … Naturally, I’ll head back to Maomu City to protect his friends~”
In her human form, Veronia saw Agunas looking at her and waved her hand with a soft laugh. Qi Chen and Dou Yanlan couldn’t help but glance at Veronia, who turned around and said,
“Don’t mistake this for doing a favor for you. It’s just—quite frankly, the underwater world isn’t all that fascinating~”
“Kong Qing, Big Cat and the others will be left in your care.”
Feng Yuan smiled slightly and addressed Kong Qing. If not for the sake of his face, Veronia surely wouldn’t have taken the initiative to propose this. If this underwater world truly bored her, why had she been so engaged earlier? As for persuading her to stay longer here? Feng Yuan decided to abandon the thought.
Though theoretically speaking, the location he’d be stuck at was the border, Maomu City lying deeper in wouldn’t likely encounter trouble. Still, no one could predict what Nierlat might attempt. If the opponent decided to lose sanity and attack Maomu City with the intent of holding him back, that would be rather frustrating.
At the very least, Feng Yuan didn’t want his friends’ loved ones to be dragged into things because of him. As for Kong Qing and the others, he wouldn’t take them with him either. Besides Xiao Ji, none of his Spirit Beasts would be involved in the border trip.
Even Xiao Ji was only accompanying him due to its unwavering loyalty—it simply wouldn’t leave his side. If not for this, Feng Yuan wouldn’t have taken any Spirit Beasts along.

Watching Feng Yuan depart, Qi Chen sighed and looked to Dou Yanlan, who let out a soft sigh of her own, saying,

They couldn’t do anything to help. This border incident excluded not just themselves but even Yang Hongzhi and Liao Yu from playing a role. With Divine Beasts essentially intervening directly, if not for Agunas’ company, they’d have questioned whether Feng Yuan could handle the situation at all.
Delong Tower looked at the three but stayed silent. After all, it wasn’t unfamiliar with this sense of powerlessness, much like their recent struggles against Odinis. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t entirely destroy Odinis, and if not for the Golden To Page bolstering their side, their conflict against Odinis and its forces might have remained at a stalemate even now.
“Looks like it hasn’t begun yet.”
Perched atop a tree, Feng Yuan folded his black wings as he gazed into the distance and remarked. Agunas flicked his tail and replied,
“At the mont, Nierlat has remained completely silent; it likely doesn’t care about intelligence circulating in the Divine Beast network.”
“Makes sense. Things have progressed this far—expecting them to turn back now isn’t realistic.”
Watching the soldiers installing equipnt in the distance, Feng Yuan sighed. With equipnt distributed to various nations, it was now almost impossible to halt everything, even if Nierlat wanted to.
Those nations wouldn’t listen to Nierlat anyway, and besides, it was unlikely that it would try to stop them.
Looking up at the sky, Eclipse coldly observed the world through the barriers separating realms. It was waiting—for Feng Yuan to signal it into action. Though Eclipse could erge at any mont and crush the enemies in a single strike, it couldn’t act preemptively as long as the opposing side hadn’t made their move.
Perhaps selfishly, not all Divine Beasts wished for Eclipse to manifest in the real world. Acting too early might even allow the opposing faction an opportunity to turn the tables.
“What a headache… We have to make them initiate first. Otherwise, just wiping them out straight away wouldn’t be so troubleso.”
Sitting atop the tree trunk, Feng Yuan sighed deeply. Agunas flicked his tail and said,
“We could summon other Divine Beasts here. If they witness what’s happening, they’ll undoubtedly agree to let Eclipse act.”
“And then? Force Eclipse to intervene directly? Do you even realize how many Mythical Era relics that lot has at their disposal?”
Giving Agunas an exasperated look, Feng Yuan replied irritably. If it were that easy, they’d have done it already. While Feng Yuan wasn’t exactly sure of Nierlat’s ultimate goals, its constant ambition to occupy the Great Xia, bolstered by Xingchan, had always been apparent. What made Nierlat most concerning to Feng Yuan was its ability to resurrect relics from the Divine Land Region’s ancient tis. Although most Mythical Era relics had been lost to the Starlit Sea, Feng Yuan couldn’t risk assuming Nierlat had none left.
If even one such relic existed, who knew what disaster might ensue? Mutual destruction with Great Xia wasn’t out of the question. Feng Yuan’s intent wasn’t simply to annihilate Nierlat but to prevent it from launching against Great Xia—anything beyond that would be aningless.
“Guess I’ll just keep watch from here…”
With his hands clasping the back of his head and leaning against the trunk, Feng Yuan muttered in frustration. He had no choice but to monitor the situation without provoking Nierlat into rash action—otherwise, things could spiral out of control.
