"Tsk! Be careful, although the Coming of the Future lasts a long ti, you may not necessarily adapt to the Legendary Level power, you’d better bring out all your Spirit Beasts now."

As everyone was walking, a suddenly appearing light barrier separated the group. Holding the shocked Xiao Ji, Feng Yuan imdiately shouted. At this, Liao Yu and Huo Feng quickly released their Spirit Beasts from the Spirit Beast Space. After all, being forcibly separated, and with Feng Yuan giving such a serious warning, they couldn’t ignore it.

With a long howl, the White Wolf Deity unleashed the Coming of the Future. Aside from Xiao Ji and Kong Qing, only Little Ice Cream remained unchanged. Veronia glanced at Agunas behind the light barrier and said,

"Be careful yourself. Although your strength is the sa as mine, you might not survive as well as I do."

Swishing his tail, Agunas ignored the remark. At this mont, under the influence of the Coming of the Future, everyone’s Spirit Beasts transford into their Legendary Level forms. However, except for Ah Mu and Cotton, the others were struggling to control their power. Feng Yuan didn’t find this surprising, as a sudden surge in power, combined with the interference to the White Wolf Deity’s power in this area, made this situation expected.

"Be careful. Although the mastermind is unlikely to cause you serious harm, it’s best not to fall for any traps."

After giving this advice, Feng Yuan moved forward with Xiao Ji. He could indeed break the light barrier, but for now, he saw no signs of injury risk. In such a situation, Feng Yuan didn’t want to break the established rules unless he sensed any ill intent from the other party.

If he broke the rules from the start, Feng Yuan was unsure of what might happen. The other party might even resort to harming people, which was why Liao Yu and the others hadn’t asked if Feng Yuan could breach the barrier.

"A Crystal Tower? Hope you all remain safe..."

Looking at the photos and ssages on the phone, Ye Hanlei murmured. If it weren’t for needing to organize materials and investigate the city area, she might have joined them.

Sadness only lasted a mont. Ye Hanlei quickly dismissed the negative thoughts and focused on the map displayed on the screen. With more information coming in, they gathered considerable data on the anomaly. In Maomu City, nearly all encounters involved Snake Won, who generally used a peculiar mini-ga to trap people.

The Defense Corps had to deploy Commanders to avoid the Snake Won’s traps. According to Liao Yu’s report, the corps confird that they could solve the Snake Won’s puzzles with another team to release those previously trapped.

It seed that the anomaly, aside from causing chaos, posed no other dangers. Yet, everyone rembered that they were in a different space and, despite appearing safe, unknown lethal threats might lurk anywhere.

As for the Crystal Tower, other teams were also investigating. Maomu City’s Crystal Towers numbered three, and the one Feng Yuan’s group was probing was temporarily left alone. This was because they trusted Feng Yuan and his Divine Beasts to handle that tower, while the Defense and Special Duty Teams dispatched mbers to check the other two. However, the situation remained grim.

When nearing the tower, they again encountered the Snake Won. This ti, the Snake Won were harder to deal with. Although their power capped at Legendary Level, they could weaken Spirit Beasts’ powers, downgrading even those above Legendary Level to Legendary or lower.

Why Feng Yuan’s group hadn’t encountered those Snake Won was unclear to Ye Hanlei. She just recorded and reported the information, leaving the analysis to the Defense Corps Commanders or the main command in Shangjing.

"And there’s still fog, this is truly, awful."

Navigating through the maze-like paths ford by the crystal light screens, Feng Yuan remarked with a headache, observing the thin mist around him. Only Xiao Ji and the Big Cat accompanied him; even the White Wolf Deity was separated into another area. The Big Cat owed and flapped its wings, while Feng Yuan patted its head and said,

"Your Ultimate Move might not be effective against this fog, but you could give it a try."

He didn’t believe the mist could be dispelled by Big Cat’s Ultimate Move, but seeing Big Cat eager to try, Feng Yuan didn’t stop it.

Upon hearing Feng Yuan, the Big Cat owed and flapped its wings, sending a gentle breeze over Feng Yuan. Though seemingly weak, the breeze shifted the blinding mist slightly. Unfortunately, once the Big Cat stopped its Ultimate Move, the mist quickly returned to normal. Seeing this, Big Cat wailed disappointedly as Little Ice Cream, perched on its head, cheered it on. Shaking his head, Feng Yuan said,

"Alright, since it didn’t work, let’s keep moving. Although it’s a hassle, at least this thing isn’t shifting constantly."

Though the mist obscured vision, Feng Yuan mapped the routes in his mind. Checking against the areas traversed, he confird that the paths didn’t continuously change, otherwise, they’d be unable to find a way out.

"Hmm, what’s that?"

Feng Yuan paused as he noticed a floating red crystal ball ahead. How could there be such a strange thing at the end of this dead end? Just then, the red crystal ball transford into a sword. With a wave of his hand, nine small shields ford a Giant Shield, blocking the red crystal sword’s slash. Xiao Ji screeched in anger, flapping its wings to stir a windstorm as Big Cat and Kong Qing supported with their Ultimate Moves.

"This wall, could it have chanisms?"

Glancing at the sketch she drew on her phone, Dou Yanlan frowned slightly. The red crystal wall looked like a closed door, not fitting with the surrounding light screens. Yet, during her path, she hadn’t found any chanisms. Could she have overlooked sothing?

As Dou Yanlan pondered, the red light screen shattered like glass. Seeing this, Dou Yanlan frowned, thinking of sothing as she sent a group ssage to Feng Yuan and the others. After a while, she received a thoughtful reply.

"I see, can each person unlock others’ doors on their paths?"

Staring at the shattered crystal ball, Feng Yuan touched his chin and said. Xiao Ji was angrily stomping on the fragnts. Feng Yuan walked over and patted Xiao Ji’s back, saying,

"Let’s go, we shouldn’t delay and make others wait for us."

"A yellow crystal ball? Quite to my liking."

With a wave of her small hand, Veronia watched the yellow crystal ball ahead. As space twisted, the crystal ball shattered instantly, and the yellow barrier blocking Qi Chen also crumbled. Ah Mu, already prepared, imdiately took action.

Vines ford a wall blocking where the yellow barrier once stood. The Seistal Stele erged beside the deep purple crystal ball, gathering energy. In no ti, the Seistal Stele exploded, instantly shattering the still-transforming crystal ball.

Everyone took turns destroying the crystal balls in their respective areas. Although occasionally delayed by complex paths causing others to wait, progress remained swift. As the barrier ahead broke, Feng Yuan continued for a while, realizing he had exited the tunnel. Looking around the empty plaza, Feng Yuan scratched his head and said,

"Strange, where are the others?"

"Feng Yuan! Watch out!"

Looking in the direction of Qi Chen’s shout from above, Feng Yuan saw Qi Chen standing at a height. Or rather, the plaza he stood in was a sunken area, and what was that bizarre machine beside Qi Chen? Not having ti to think, the ground trembled continuously as a giant statue slowly approached Feng Yuan.

"Tsk! Do we have to break the statue together?"

With a wave of his hand, nine small shields circled Feng Yuan, and a black scythe appeared in his hand. Staring at the giant statue, Feng Yuan said,

"Not sure how exactly to deal with you, but I believe the constraints aren’t that rigid."

As he swung the scythe, black vines extended towards the giant statue, and in an instant, a sea of black vines covered its feet. Though the giant statue attempted to break free with barbaric force, the swiftly growing vines quickly enveloped it entirely.

"He... thank goodness it’s him standing there."

Seeing Feng Yuan subdue the statue, Qi Chen breathed a sigh of relief and looked at the turret beside him.
