Noticing that the next auction item failed to capture Feng Yuan’s attention, Veronia couldn’t help but curiously ask Feng Yuan,
“Does that thing have sothing special? Could it be a treasure map?”

“Are you joking? If they haven’t figured out the exact nature and structure of those things, how could they use them in custom devices? Do you really think others are willing to buy an undeveloped defective product?”

It’s not because they’re worried about mistakenly wasting precious materials. It’s because a chanical device would never allow materials of unknown nature to be used as raw material. Otherwise, if those materials exhibit special behaviors in certain environnts, wouldn’t that be a disaster?

“Are you waiting for soone here?”

The person smiled at Feng Yuan as they spoke. They couldn’t risk saying anything too excessive since that item was sothing they had brought in for auction. It wouldn’t be right for them to do anything just because Feng Yuan seed to detect a possible treasure. However, they were genuinely curious about what mystery it might be hiding.
There was no way around it; all the items at this auction were carefully appraised by them and the experts at Jin Sheng Auction House. If there were any doubts about an item, they would involve more people to verify it, ensuring that the grand auction of the day would proceed without any mishaps. Unfortunately, even with these precautions, issues still managed to arise.
“Oh, you want to know the secret hidden in those tal plates? Actually, I’m also just guessing, but I think if it really is sothing like a treasure map, I would probably ask the Great Xia officials to help .”
Hearing what they said, Feng Yuan didn’t mind sharing. Their curiosity wasn’t surprising. Seeing their conflicted expressions, Feng Yuan chuckled as he said. He really wasn’t worried about others seeing the treasure map, for if it really was a treasure map, as long as he contacted Captain Yang and his team for assistance, who else would dare to steal a march on them and secretly pilfer the treasure?
Thinking about Feng Yuan’s relationship with Great Xia and the permissions granted to him by the two Divine Beasts by his side, the high-level officials finally sighed in relief. Feng Yuan laughed as he said. Although he thought it was most likely a treasure map, he wasn’t entirely sure. There remained other possibilities for the item—it was just that a treasure map seed the most probable.

The missing parts looked as if so portions of the drawing had been dug away. Yet, when Feng Yuan placed the last tal plate, everyone was astonished to see that the tal plates vaguely ford a complete pattern, but due to the sizable gaps, they couldn’t decipher exactly what it was.
“Is this thing missing parts?”
Veronia couldn’t help but ask Feng Yuan, who smiled and shook his head. Borrowing power from Xiao Ji, he injected it into the suspected location of the eyes. At that mont, beams of light erged from between the tal plates, linking together to complete the picture.
