Now reading: Chapter 1796 - 1797: Tamur from Divine Beast Creator, a Eastern novel by Salted fish on a fishing rod.

Returning to the area beneath the Perpetual Spring, Feng Yuan glanced at the surrounding murals. At this ti, due to the lowering water levels, all those murals erged above the surface, and now they emitted a green glow just like the silhouette ford of light.

Feng Yuan could guess that this should be the handiwork of soone. But who exactly was it?

"Who are you, exactly?"

Seeing the figure remain in place, Feng Yuan couldn’t help but approach and ask. At this mont, Veronia also rushed over with Xiao Ji, and casually picked up the pouncing Xiao Ji. Feng Yuan’s gaze never left the green silhouette.

"I... am the Guardian. You all wish to disrupt the peace here."

"So, you’re planning to stop us?"

Feng Yuan squinted and pulled out the Black Scythe, speaking coldly. Although he wasn’t quite sure what disrupting the peace here ant, he assud it had sothing to do with this relic.

Unfortunately, the other’s response left Feng Yuan puzzled.

"No, I... want to help it."

"Help whom? Can you speak to directly as yourself? This way is very insincere."

Looking at the green silhouette, Feng Yuan said seemingly casually. Instead of responding, the figure looked towards the center of the Hu’er Ma Sha Sea and said,

"It’s it. Around you, there is the aura from the sa era. Perhaps you can help it."

Startled for a mont, Feng Yuan suddenly reacted and looked at Veronia, pointing and exclaiming,

"You’re talking about it, aren’t you?!"

"Hmm... it’s been trapped here for thousands of years. We tried to help it, but..."

"You attempted to help it? Wait, let get this straight, I want to know, who exactly are you?"

Covering his forehead, Feng Yuan interrupted, and the green silhouette paused briefly before saying,

"I have no na. I was just a Wood Sprite once saved by it. But, we happened to end up here by so misfortune and coincidence."

"Then, is your current form the Starry Treant?"

Looking at the figure, Feng Yuan suddenly realized why it didn’t appear before them in its true form. Given the terrifying size of a Starry Treant, even if it changed its form, it would still be larger than Ah Mu’s original size, and in this underground passage, where even Ah Mu requires transformation, it would be even larger.

"No, that was over a thousand years ago. It has been over a millennium since reaching the Sheltering World Trees. Ti flies so quickly..."

"Sheltering World Trees..."

Feng Yuan glanced at Ah Mu following behind Qi Chen. The Sheltering World Trees could be considered the pinnacle of Ah Mu’s evolutionary chain. Achieving a Sacred Beast Level strength was the limit for an ordinary Spirit Beast; however, now Feng Yuan was more concerned with the one within the Hu’er Ma Sha Sea.

"You said it saved you? Do you have a deep understanding of the Divine Beast inside the Hu’er Ma Sha Sea?"

Feng Yuan couldn’t resist asking, the green silhouette paused before saying,

"Are you referring to it? We only know its na, Tamur. It descended here from a ti we could not reach, the Mythical Era. But throughout, it was always a solitary existence,

with no kin, no friends, and none of similar standing who could understand it...

We once tried, near its dwelling, to create prosperous scenes, just as it helped us once. But none of it worked...

Life cannot endure the desolation of the desert, and while the forest we remodeled was lively, this liveliness was not its...

Even when we brought in human towns, they couldn’t bring it joy. Perhaps, because we and it are not of the sa era, that’s why I hope you can help it..."

"Tamur? Was there a Divine Beast by that na in the Mythical Era?"

With a hand on her chin, Veronia suspiciously muttered that, in her mory, she had never heard of the na Tamur. As for whether it was Kastantos hiding a trump card?

Please, it also participated in that final battle. If it had such a trump card, it would have used it then, long before the destruction after the final battle. But if that were the case, where did Tamur co from?

Impersonating a Mythical Era Divine Beast? She didn’t believe anyone would be that bored, and given Kastantos’ technology, how did they even master it?

"So you’re saying the order in the forest region is your handiwork?"

Feng Yuan didn’t focus on the na Tamur. After all, he didn’t recognize all the Divine Beasts from the Mythical Era. Instead, it was the implication in the other’s words that surprised him. He did not expect that the figure before them was the mastermind they were seeking in the forest region.

"No, that was the result of our combined effort. It was ant for it to see a lively world. Unfortunately, we failed."

The green silhouette glanced around and said,

"Initially, we were just weak Spirit Beasts who wandered into the desert sea. The harsh environnt of the Hu’er Ma Sha Sea nearly prevented us from escaping this desert. It was then that it appeared before us.

It created this underground cavern and drew fresh water from the earth. The outside world was covered in war. Once we had the minimum survival guarantee, we chose to stay here.

Although it never spoke to us, it didn’t drive us away either. In fact, it even rescued Spirit Beasts and humans who wandered into this desert, just like us."

As it spoke, the green silhouette slowly walked around those murals, saying,

"This place was built as a refuge along with the humans of that ti. Though there are no trees or flowers here, to us, it was like the paradise you speak of.

However, we could not, nor could we always stay here. As the external wars subsided, people and Spirit Beasts would occasionally leave, but it never said anything, rely silently protecting the refuge left for us."

"It was probably just simply providing shelter for you. This matter should..."

Looking at the figure, Feng Yuan asked in confusion. Given the other’s gratitude towards Tamur, it should have provided substantial help. Yet, only these matters...

"Perhaps you can’t understand, but for us, this was the greatest kindness we could receive at that ti."

The green silhouette was unconcerned, aware that for people of this period, it was challenging to comprehend their gratitude and thoughts. After all, the present had been peaceful for a long ti, and even during the Dynasty Era, region-wide wars weren’t frequent.

"Perhaps. But regardless, with that being the case, the investigation of the forest region can probably be set aside for now."

Feng Yuan glanced at Veronia and said, it wasn’t too hard to understand if the forest region was created by the Sheltering World Trees in gratitude to Tamur.

Moreover, that could explain why the forest area’s lifeform density was so high. It wasn’t an intentional gathering of forces to attack Hu’er Ma Sha Sea; it was purely to let Tamur see livelier scenes.

Even in the present forest area, the biological density doesn’t visually impact much. After all, they couldn’t make all the Spirit Beasts cram together; even Feng Yuan couldn’t do such a thing.

But presently, what they could do was ensure that in any given direction, one would basically see active Spirit Beasts.

The human settlents, those villages, were positioned along the edge of the Hu’er Ma Sha Sea without any obstruction facing the sea.

It wasn’t so villagers could admire the scenic beauty of the sand sea up close. Living in such a place, he didn’t think anyone would enjoy the gusts of yellow sand occasionally blowing through. But this arrangent let Tamur clearly see human life in the villages.

It’s not that Tamur had any voyeuristic desire; even Feng Yuan, if staying in such a lifeless place for long, would wish to see so lively scenes.

These were the efforts made for Tamur by the Sheltering World Trees, but Feng Yuan knew such distant viewing couldn’t dispel the lancholy in the heart. Yet, clearly, they couldn’t take Tamur away.

Thinking this, Feng Yuan placed a hand on Xiao Ji’s head and asked Veronia,

"What do you think?"

"I don’t know it, but if it doesn’t mind, I’d actually be quite happy. At least, it wasn’t just and the Little Crocodile who escaped a calamity."

Veronia shrugged off with a smile. However, her instincts told her that Tamur’s situation might not be that simple.
