After so idle chatter, the young man and his parents turned to other areas to converse with the top twenty awardees. Veronia looked at Feng Yuan with a peculiar smile and asked

"What do you think?"

"Hard to say, but she promised him to attend the Skyship’s maiden flight together, and now she’s skipping out on him. He must be feeling quite down~"

Thinking of sothing, Feng Yuan looked in the direction of the young man and said with a peculiar smile. Veronia shook her head helplessly and said

"Your focus is still so peculiar. Since she didn’t participate in the competition, naturally, there’s no chance for her to join the maiden flight either. As for the possibility of livestreaming, that’s uncertain."

Her gaze swept over the guests present, and Veronia suggested, their presence makes everyone hesitate to start a livestream for fear of accidentally capturing sothing they shouldn’t.

In such settings, indeed not everyone dares to casually start a livestream or video call. Feng Yuan found it unsurprising, most of those of equal status acted out of respect, while the young ones, like the boy, wouldn’t dare. Facing those people, even knowing they wouldn’t act rashly, the disparity between the sides was just too overwhelming.

A simple unconscious act from them could land others in imnse trouble, making any risky attempt out of the question under such circumstances.

Aside from the young man, Feng Yuan, thanks to his distinct attire, managed to chat with all the competition awardees. As the banquet neared its end, Feng Yuan yawned and glanced at the increasingly empty banquet hall. With guests leaving, the servers began slowly cleaning the now unattended dining tables.

Qi Chen and Dou Yanlan had already left, though Feng Yuan didn’t know why he stayed behind. Tamur circled around Feng Yuan with a puzzled look and asked

"What’s worrying you?"

"I’m pondering what this intuition points to. Oh well, any useful information left wouldn’t be significant..."

Rubbing his chin, Feng Yuan glanced at the remaining people and stood up to leave, realizing that this crowd mostly consisted of familiar small groups inviting each other to enjoy Linhai City’s nightlife later. The information he hoped for likely wouldn’t appear here.

Just as Feng Yuan was about to head back to his room, Veronia pulled him out of the Autumn Night Pavilion. Though he didn’t quite understand when Veronia beca interested in nightclubs, he didn’t find it particularly aningful.

Considering he was with two Divine Beasts and Xiao Ji, Feng Yuan felt visiting a nightclub was asking for trouble. Yet, he couldn’t easily refuse Veronia’s request.

Led by Veronia, Feng Yuan followed her to a tavern situated on a cliff edge. The sound of waves below added a unique ambiance to this tavern. Though located within the city, the surrounding area was presumably bought by the owner, leaving only the tavern’s parking lot and a large area of woods.

"In a place like this, it’s not surprising if sothing strange happens."

Feng Yuan said with a smirk, observing the old tavern that seed isolated in the wilderness, even though a bustling city was just nearby. It gave a desolate feel as if misfortune could strike at any mont. He was puzzled by Veronia’s suggestion to co here.

Turning to Feng Yuan, Veronia snorted discontentedly and said

"Aren’t you very focused on the restaurant’s ambiance?"

"But I don’t like drinking, and this isn’t a restaurant."

Said Feng Yuan, speechless, glancing at the guide who seed to understand his aning and began introducing the place. As he had guessed, the desolate feel was deliberately crafted by the owner, and the tavern’s interior was actually very lively.

Moreover, since the tavern was set up by several direct descendants of a prominent family in Linhai City, there were certain requirents for entry.

Of course, they wouldn’t dare to obstruct Feng Yuan from entering. After all, guides from Entertainnt World Company could sotis represent the company, and they naturally had to show them respect.

Following Veronia into the tavern, Feng Yuan noticed many guests he had seen earlier at the banquet. They were now reveling with won they had sohow found.

This noisy environnt wasn’t Feng Yuan’s preference. He glanced at Veronia, shrugged, and transford into a Little Husky, lying on Big Cat’s head. Seeing this, Veronia knew she had to clarify her purpose, or Feng Yuan might truly beco upset. Surveying the surroundings, Veronia said

"There’s a legend you can see glowing pink whales here. Moreover, these pink whales appear at fixed tis. Aren’t you curious about what they are?"

"Pink whales? Glowing? Probably so special Spirit Beast."

Yawning, Little Husky squinted and said disinterestedly about red or pink whales. Tamur pondered and asked

"Do you suspect it’s so kind of special phenonon?"

"More or less, at least, to completely negate all human detection thods, I can’t find any other possibility for now~"

Glancing at the Little Husky whose eyes had opened again, Veronia said, jumping down from Big Cat’s head and reverting to original form. Feng Yuan looked at Veronia and pursued further

"Are you certain it’s a unique natural phenonon? Besides, according to you, could it be related to the Autumn Night Pavilion incident?"

After a brief reflection, Feng Yuan intuitively connected it to the Abnormal Space incident at the Autumn Night Pavilion. After all, Veronia wasn’t like Agunas, who kept an eye on the whole world. Veronia, following him closely, knew about as many events as he did.

"I can only speculate on this possibility. After all, glowing pink whales are not typical Life forms, let alone things that can evade human detection. It can be pretty much ruled out as human-made."

Crossing her arms, Veronia tilted her head and said to Feng Yuan. As one of the core cities of the Great Xia, Linhai City naturally had strong research capabilities. If it were man-made, even if they couldn’t find useful clues, they would at least discover hints.

Based on the situation known, all investigative results have attributed it to unknown natural phenona, which is evidently abnormal.

Of course, for humans, this sounded reasonable because they understood only a few natural phenona. However, for Divine Beasts like Veronia, it was a different story.

Unusual natural phenona are how Divine Beasts assess if sothing troubling is occurring in an area. To Veronia, the regularly appearing pink whale seed like a clear-cut unusual natural phenonon.

"Where can it be seen?"

Feng Yuan didn’t doubt Veronia’s words, as she wasn’t prone to joking. Since Veronia said so, there likely was sothing extraordinary taking place.

What Feng Yuan didn’t expect was that apart from him, many others were also interested in the pink whales. Without the guide, they couldn’t even approach the sea-facing corridor.

From the observation platform arranged by the tavern, Feng Yuan gazed toward the pitch-black sea and asked

"How much longer?"

"It’s already here."

Without waiting for Veronia’s response, Tamur suddenly spoke. Surprised, Veronia checked her phone and said

"It seems we can confirm that this place is also influenced by the Abnormal Space. This ans we can push back the appearance ti of the Abnormal Space significantly. That’s going to be a big problem~"

"What big problem?"

Agunas, wondering if it had sensed sothing wrong, shifted focus and realized they were in an unusual place—a bar? It didn’t seem like sowhere Feng Yuan would typically co.

Tamur nodded and circled around Feng Yuan, saying

"The Abnormal Space is approaching and is doing so in a regular pattern. I’m not sure if sothing special is drawing it in."

"Does the thing have its own consciousness?"

Veronia asked in surprise, and Tamur swayed gently, silent for a mont, and said

"No, but it has animal-like instincts."

"Abnormal Space?"

Agunas furrowed its brows, unable to sense the presence of that thing. It didn’t expect that, being a Divine Beast of the era, Tamur would possess such a unique ability.
