Now reading: Chapter 1942 - 1943: Examination from Divine Beast Creator, a Eastern novel by Salted fish on a fishing rod.

Feng Yuan explained the existence of Sky Manor while flipping through various dical devices piled in the corner, not treating himself as an outsider.

From the wear and tear on these devices, Feng Yuan roughly gauged Patrolman Zhou Qi’s level in terms of treatnt skills.

"It seems you haven’t formally studied spirit beast treatnt. But that’s understandable; most Beastmasters generally spend little ti on such research. The person who equipped you with this gear, though, knows so things," Feng Yuan muttered, stroking his chin. Perhaps it was familiarity from spending ti with the group; the Fluffy Dog no longer avoided Feng Yuan but curiously approached. Qi Chen, standing nearby, overheard Feng Yuan and warned him with a glance.

However, given Zhou Qi’s keen hearing, there was no way he hadn’t overheard Feng Yuan. He laughed and said,

"You’re right. That’s why the equipnt they gave is all fully automatic and easy to use. Yet, in their eyes, I’m probably not much different from those professionals who specialize in healing spirit beasts."

"Not just that. The person who provided you with this equipnt is very skilled. Although these are user-friendly devices, in the hands of soone knowledgeable, they can be turned into a fully functional temporary aid station in manual mode. This requires a certain professional capability, you know," Feng Yuan said, shaking his head slightly. Given that the purpose of the equipnt wasn’t imdiately clear to Zhou Qi, it was normal; after all, most people wouldn’t take the ti to learn about spirit beast treatnt equipnt. Naturally, they wouldn’t know that so of these devices are compromises to achieve dual functions simultaneously.

In other words, so automated diagnostic equipnt has better alternatives, but those alternatives either lack a manual mode or the manual mode cannot cover the required treatnt needs, leading them to be discarded.

Hearing this, Zhou Qi was taken aback, unsure if Feng Yuan was making things up. After thinking it over, he said,

"I recall this equipnt follows nationwide standards; they never ntioned anything like this."

"There’s no need to ntion it, after all. Those who understand will grasp it upon seeing the equipnt. For those who don’t, knowing is useless. Manual mode and automatic mode are completely different in terms of usage. Nonetheless, if every patrolman’s hut nationwide is equipped this way, it might be an arrangent to ensure sufficient ergency aid in the wilderness," said Feng Yuan, stroking his chin. It is only in outdoor areas like these that these devices are necessary. If an accident occurs here, the doctor responsible for ergency response may not need to bring a lot of equipnt.

With a light chuckle, Feng Yuan picked up a dical device and said,

"We’re relatively free, so why don’t I show you another way they designed to use these? This device can perform quite a thorough examination~ Let’s gather all the spirit beasts here, and I’ll give them a thorough check-up~"

Looking at Feng Yuan, Zhou Qi recalled his special credentials and eventually agreed to Feng’s proposal. Without that credential proving he was trustworthy, not even following a Divine Beast would persuade Zhou Qi to agree.

Because many spirit beasts inhabited the wetland, understanding the situation through observation alone was difficult for most people. However, a comprehensive examination of spirit beasts would an Feng Yuan would gain detailed data on the wild spirit beasts here. Without the credential proving he was on their side, Zhou Qi would never agree to this.

If the data were leaked, it could pose a significant threat to the wild spirit beasts living in the wetlands.

Veronia glanced at Feng Yuan, snorted, and said,

"That’s going to consu quite a bit of ti. Did you forget about them?"

Qi Chen scratched his head and said,

"Well, we’re not in a rush. Actually, Yanlan and I haven’t decided what type of second Beast Tar we should choose."

"Then let’s wait and see if any co by chance~" Feng Yuan said, beginning to sort through the equipnt. Because Zhou Qi only utilized the automatic mode, many devices had low usage.

Noticing the networked data among them, Feng Yuan roughly understood it wasn’t as simple as it seed, but it didn’t matter to him. After all, this data was transmitted to Great Xia’s hands, and he wasn’t bothered about their purpose.

Soon, Zhou Qi communicated with the spirit beasts in the wetland about the arrangent. Given that usually, Zhou Qi helped when these wild spirit beasts couldn’t handle certain ailnts themselves, they didn’t strongly oppose the examination.

Returning to the hut, Zhou Qi was surprised to see the devices seemingly transford and said,

"These things can be used like this? Why didn’t they ntion this in teaching?"

"Of course, they wouldn’t ntion it. This thing, though it looks simple, can’t be well-handled by soone without specialized training because, in this mode, there’s no automatic program assistance," Feng Yuan replied casually, adjusting the equipnt slowly. He wasn’t surprised that Zhou Qi and his companions had undergone related training. The automatic mode of these devices covers most common injuries and ailnts among wild spirit beasts. However, this doesn’t an one can just use them without understanding; at the very least, you need to determine which equipnt to use for diagnosis and treatnt, right?

As for sothing more advanced? Feng Yuan probably wouldn’t teach that; it’s too ti-consuming.

Hearing Feng Yuan’s words, Zhou Qi paused as if understanding sothing but did not pursue it further. Dou Yanlan stroked her chin, observing Feng Yuan at work, while the Fluffy Dog beca his first examination target.

Seeing the familiar devices transford into strange forms, the Fluffy Dog was inevitably a bit nervous. Only after being comforted by Feng Yuan did it manage to relax, eting Feng Yuan’s not-so-pleasant expression.

"Hmm, strange, this Fluffy Dog... it’s really not your spirit beast?" Feng Yuan asked, looking suspiciously at Zhou Qi. With Feng Yuan’s statent, Zhou Qi paused, sowhat worrying, he asked,

"Is sothing wrong with it?"

"No major issues. Here’s the test report. The only strange thing is, how does a wild spirit beast have a condition like obesity?" Feng Yuan said, casting a peculiar glance at the Fluffy Dog. Hearing this, it blushed and whimpered, curling up behind Zhou Qi.

Qi Chen, surprised, asked Feng Yuan,

"Are you sure there’s no mistake?"

Obesity in spirit beasts doesn’t simply refer to being overweight but is derived from comprehensive data analysis. Essentially, it ans the spirit beast’s body has accumulated a large excess of energy, which might not be visible in its weight or shape, but significant energy is indeed stored within, akin to human obesity.

While this might not exactly be considered a disease, the impact depends on the type of energy stored. If it’s incompatible with the spirit beast, it poses a serious ailnt. But if the beast has rely consud too much energy without an imdiate outlet, it’s not particularly concerning.

Zhou Qi coldly glared at the Fluffy Dog trying to appear cute and said,

"Excessive accumulation of water and wood energy? What have you been doing?"

The Fluffy Dog whimpered softly, holding its head in its front paws and putting on a pitiful appearance. Qi Chen, puzzled, glanced at the Fluffy Dog. If it were thunder energy, it’d be understandable, but water and wood? These energies have nothing to do with the Fluffy Dog. Thinking of the wetland, though, even Qi Chen could guess the cause.

Feng Yuan, amused, said,

"It’s not a big problem. It’s likely just overeating spirit fruits here. Just refrain from eating them for a while, as the energy hasn’t reached a harmful level yet."

While excessive energy intake not matching its type in spirit beasts gradually manifests as disease characteristics, fundantally, it’s not a severe issue. Normally, spirit beasts can naturally expel unnecessary energy. However, when they consu too much, sotis they can’t imdiately get rid of it all, resulting in fluctuations like what the Fluffy Dog is experiencing.

With a stern face, Zhou Qi stared at the Fluffy Dog and said,

"I’m going to talk to your father about this."

The Fluffy Dog trembled, whimpering defensively as if begging for rcy, but Zhou Qi ignored it. This fellow had been too reckless. Without Feng Yuan’s tily intervention, if this continued and manifested as specific symptoms, it would have beco troubleso.

Disregarding the Fluffy Dog still playing pitiful, Feng Yuan continued with the other spirit beast examinations. Only now did Zhou Qi understand why so much printer paper was provided initially; the automatic mode couldn’t have required it.

He hadn’t expected that paper to be used for printing manual-mode diagnostics reports. Witnessing the comprehensive reports akin to hospital examinations, Zhou Qi was sowhat excited.
