The black mist grew thicker and even began to solidify. The faint wailing in their ears chilled everyone’s hearts. Even Qi Chen from the Different Ti couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable, despite their supposed immunity.
"These are the howls from the souls of the living. Why is there such great resentnt?"
Qi Chen from the Different Ti spoke with so confusion. Being a Shepherd Tree Person was not just a simple profession; it also ca with special abilities that others didn’t possess, including natural resonance and soul-seeing.
Therefore, in Qi Chen’s eyes from the Different Ti, these resentnts were the despairing howls of individual souls. However, what puzzled him was why this resentnt and anger were directed at the world.
"Not sure, but it seems it’s not absolutely safe either."
With a wave of a hand, a black blade burning with black flas appeared in Feng Yuan’s hand. It was a special weapon ford with Xiao Ji’s power. As they looked at the black mist demons gradually drawing near, everyone imdiately prepared for battle.
With otherworldly allies joining, Feng Yuan and his team advanced quickly. Although the number of resentnt entities was vast, they also had many on their side. Even as the resentnt entities continuously surrounded them, they maintained a steady pace in advancing forward.
Qi Chen and the others learned combat techniques from their counterparts in the Parallel World. Even if their future paths might not align, these techniques and thods suited them perfectly.
In the process of battling and learning, Qi Chen’s practical combat ability improved once more.
Qiu Hanmo seed to understand now why Qi Chen and the others were so strong in combat, not even weaker than their Red Fire Team in so contexts.
So, it was by training with Feng Yuan.
There’s no choice. Even their Red Fire Team couldn’t just challenge enemies far superior to them on a whim. But Qi Chen and the others, just seeing this battle, he could guess that they had fought many battles against stronger foes.
How enviable.
Qiu Hanmo thought to himself. Although it might put them in danger, how much danger could there be by following Feng Yuan? To them, it was less than so of their Red Fire Team’s missions.
Qi Chen and the others didn’t know what Qiu Hanmo was thinking. Those resentnt entities ca fiercely. Even with Feng Yuan blocking the front, they couldn’t just do nothing.
Though not as strong as Feng Yuan and their otherworldly allies, they had their ways.
Cotton and Xing Bo used their abilities to assist, while Ah Mu was the main attacker, borrowing temporary power from the Lantern. Qi Chen and the others were holding their ground well.
On the other side, Agunas and the others also encountered resentnt entities, but unlike Feng Yuan’s, theirs seed like strange creatures made of mucus.
If there’s anything similar to these resentnt entities, it’s likely to be Slis.
"These things are the embodint of filth."
While using her ultimate move to attack these sli-like creatures, Veronia expressed her disdain. Agunas silently used his ultimate move to clear the way. Tamur still led at the front. Around him, energy spheres orbited, bombarding any resentnt entities attempting to approach.
It wasn’t a problem, but Tamur’s way of fighting made Agunas worry. This wasn’t Tamur’s usual thod. Could Tamur have been influenced by this space?
Agunas worried but didn’t ask Tamur because, regardless of the possibilities, he didn’t think he could get an answer.
"An indestructible trait? What a strange space."
Gitalien used the power of space to slice through those resentnt entities. Unlike the fog-like entities encountered by Feng Yuan and his team, these seed to possess so undead tendency, always regrouping and continuing their attacks regardless of how they were struck.
"It’s not a world trait; rather the result of the separation of soul and body forming the undying."
Tamur’s sudden explanation startled Agunas. Looking ahead, Tamur said
"It seems to be using us..."
"We can’t keep fighting like this. These things seem to be born endlessly. We don’t have enough strength to eliminate every one of them."
After a while, Dou Yanlan suddenly spoke up. Although their advancent wasn’t slow, she noticed the total number of resentnt entities hadn’t changed.
Even though their ultimate moves could successfully eliminate the resentnt entities, they were continually replenished. If they continued fighting while advancing, they might beco exhausted before breaking through the blockade.
After all, among them, only Najia could attack, while the White Wolf Deity could hardly fight because it had to maintain the Different Ti summoning.
For so reason, Dou Yanlan thought of their earlier division of troops, wondering if she had stopped it then, maybe they wouldn’t be in this predicant.
"Rather than being born endlessly, shouldn’t we say their number is just too large? Just what in the world is their experint that has generated such imnse resentnt?"
Feng Yuan frowned as they continued to forge ahead. Due to the resentnt entities, the flow of black mist had beco difficult to discern. They could only roughly identify directions by following the flight of Fireflies.
"This reaction shouldn’t be so. We might be being used."
Qiu Hanmo from the Different Ti pointed out. Normally, such resentnt entities wouldn’t relentlessly pursue them since they weren’t the primary target.
Feng Yuan’s lips slightly curled as he said
"I know, perhaps the darkness of the Devouring World did sothing, but it doesn’t matter. If we follow its intentions, maybe it’ll jump out and flaunt in front of us at the end, and then..."
"You intend to wait for it to reveal itself before acting? But if it doesn’t, won’t we have solved a big problem for it?"
Qiu Hanmo from the Different Ti looked at Feng Yuan in surprise, not expecting such a plan from him.
Yang Hongzhi’s brows furrowed. Feng Yuan’s plan wasn’t wholly unreasonable, but he felt it might be a bit hasty. How could Feng Yuan be sure the darkness of the Devouring World would reveal itself?
Even though he didn’t know what effect this resentnt would have on the Devouring World’s darkness, he could guess it certainly hindered its actions. Now, would eliminating it...
"It doesn’t matter, we’ll have to deal with it anyway. Even if we don’t handle it now, when we reach the core, we’ll still have to deal with it. It’s all the sa."
With a shrug, Feng Yuan said indifferently. Their mission was to thoroughly solve the entire Parallel World. Whether it’s the darkness of the Devouring World or the resentnt entity, they were part of the Parallel World, and couldn’t be left behind. As for keeping it to constrain the Devouring World’s darkness?
Feng Yuan couldn’t be bothered with such complications. Moreover, driving away tigers and devouring wolves could lead to unforeseen troubles.
Hearing Feng Yuan’s explanation, everyone felt sothing was off, but Qiu Hanmo from the Different Ti and Qiu Hanmo used this to make further conjectures about Feng Yuan’s abilities, yet that was all.
"But this thing blocking our path is quite a nuisance. Well, let’s be more efficient."
Looking at the endless congregation of resentnt entities, Feng Yuan expressed his headache. He didn’t mind being used by the darkness of the Devouring World in resolving these resentnt entities, but he didn’t want to waste too much ti here.
After so thought, Feng Yuan tossed a pitch-black Ancient Book towards the White Wolf Deity, pointed his finger, and the black-robed shadow behind him raised its weapon towards the direction where the black mist gathered.
The mont the White Wolf Deity made contact with the pitch-black Ancient Book, it let out a loud howl, and dark flas rose from its claws and shoulders, as if cloaked in black fla-made armor.
As the black-robed shadow moved, six rune bands shot forth, forcefully cutting a path through the resentnt entity mass.
Howling, the White Wolf Deity spewed icy-blue flas from its mouth. The flas swept through the rune band’s path, forming a glass-like barrier amidst the bands.
Now, the resentnt entities in the path of the rune band were cleared. The outer entities continuously attempted to break the barrier but were scorched away by the flas.
"Go, this won’t hold for long."
Seeing the path ford, Feng Yuan shouted to everyone and led the charge into the rune’s path.
Qiu Hanmo eyed Feng Yuan’s back, suspicious of the synergy between him and the White Wolf Deity.
