"The path should not be outside."
Glancing at the outside balcony, Feng Yuan turned to the group and said, although there was accumulated water on the balcony, theoretically, it was possible to pass through it and enter the next area again, but Feng Yuan felt it was unlikely.
Using the sa chanism repeatedly wouldn’t be interesting, especially with the heavy rain outside; those spirit beasts who didn’t like rain would suffer.
The designer of the Maze of Mirror couldn’t have ignored the feelings of this type of spirit beast. As for putting them into the Spirit Beast Space, that’s true, but generally speaking, such a thing would be pre-advised, lest so spirit beasts dislike the Spirit Beast Space and it leads to problems.
They didn’t receive any warning, so this place definitely wasn’t the kind that the Fluffy Fire Wolfhound cannot go to yet has to go.
"Let the rainwater in?"
Dou Yanlan didn’t doubt Feng Yuan’s judgnt; she thought similarly. The balcony probably wasn’t the way forward; thinking of the chanism in the banquet hall earlier, she wasn’t sure if it would be the sa solution.
"The door is open, the rain doesn’t drift in, and the form of the rain doesn’t seem right; it’s like so kind of malicious trap."
Looking at the jelly-like accumulating water slowly flowing from the balcony into the banquet hall, Feng Yuan said.
Although at first glance it seems quite normal, the water gives a feeling similar to jelly, not quite liquid, but a strange state between liquid and solid.
It neither retains a fixed shape like a solid nor spreads out directly like a liquid; even though it’s trying to mimic normal liquid flow, its material properties already determine that it can’t disperse fluidly.
Dou Yanlan stepped forward to close the door, and the liquid disappeared in an instant.
"Definitely sothing wrong."
Qi Chen said in surprise, puzzled why his battle instinct didn’t react, but it wasn’t strange; if the thing posed no threat to him, it was normal for battle instinct not to react.
"Plenty of things ant to scare people, but... mirrors, there don’t seem to be any here."
Feng Yuan said as he headed to the main door and pushed it open, surprisingly discovering the sa banquet hall behind it, and not only that.
Curiously moving a step to the left, the "Feng Yuan" opposite did the sa action; reaching out his hand to pat, the opposite and Feng Yuan’s actions synchronized completely, with a slap, Feng Yuan seed to hit a giant mirror, shaking the entire space behind the door.
"Is this a mirror?"
Qi Chen walked over inquisitively, observing with amazent at the synchronized actions of himself opposite; this mirror was really clean, at least he couldn’t see the existence of a mirror.
"Sothing’s amiss."
Dou Yanlan suspiciously examined the doorway, though it felt like a mirror, intuition told her it wasn’t simple; that thing wasn’t quite ordinary.
"This thing can only be said to resemble one."
Nine small shields condensed into a greatsword, Feng Yuan said as he stepped forward and swung the greatsword, with the opposite side reacting in kind, both greatswords clashing at the mirrored position, sparks flying.
The mirror even cracked heavily, but soon the fissures faded away.
"Interesting, quite the trick."
With a cold laugh, Feng Yuan opened his left hand and gripped forcefully, several clock shadows appeared and slowly faded, Feng Yuan swung the sword again at a speed exceeding normal ti flow.
This ti the image opposite couldn’t react, the greatsword striking the mirror image Feng Yuan, making it disappear into black mist.
"Ti acceleration?"
Agunas looked at Feng Yuan and flicked its tail, unsurprised that Feng Yuan utilized the Ti Series ultimate move, even if Xiao Ji didn’t have the ability, Feng Yuan himself did.
As for why the mirror image didn’t use it, that was expected; the Data Domain doesn’t replicate Ti Series ultimate moves easily, requiring sothing akin to Authority, not just anyone can reproduce Ti Series ultimate moves via the Data Domain.
Of course, opponents generated in arenas who can use Ti Series ultimate moves don’t require permission, or in places like arenas, they inherently have authorization for nearly all common ultimate moves.
The Maze of Mirror clearly isn’t in an arena, seeing as this thing isn’t really for competitive matches, using arena resources here would be a waste.
The designer likely didn’t foresee this Data Domain flaw; no, it can’t be considered a flaw, rely an additional limitation.
In normal circumstances, this issue isn’t significant, considering not everyone can bypass action sync limitations using ti acceleration.
Even using ultimate moves might result in mirrored actions, with the power of the ultimate move identical too.
Such replication easily misleads people to think the mirrored reflection is themselves or, even realizing it, lack a thod to break the blockade.
The designer didn’t put a path here intentionally, or perhaps this is just an Easter egg; only Beastmasters who can overco synchronized states and actions can see the Easter egg.
But they didn’t anticipate soone like Feng Yuan bypassing the difficulty using special ultimate move limits.
"Hehe, I wonder what’s behind here."
Since Feng Yuan’s mirror image vanished, the remaining mirrors weren’t his match, or put it another way, Qi Chen’s and their mirrors wouldn’t follow Feng Yuan’s actions, otherwise what type of mirror would they be?
Faced with unresponsive targets, Feng Yuan showed no rcy, soon defeating all those mirror images, clapping his hands he said
"Alright, let’s go check out what’s here."
At this mont Feng Yuan realized this likely wasn’t the path forward, considering that mirror wasn’t easy to deal with for general people; not to ntion realizing it’s not a real mirror, even knowing it, defeating the mirror image might be impossible.
Totally synchronized actions and ultimate moves of mirrors, if not for Feng Yuan’s trickery earlier, might not have been easily solved.
Such difficulty isn’t unreasonable, only Feng Yuan felt it unfitting in a Maze of Mirror amusent project.
"Feels no different, wait, what’s that golden door?"
The banquet hall behind the door appeared identical to the one they were in earlier, except without the storm outside, almost identical.
Except here, Feng Yuan saw a golden patterned door, opening it, nurous gold coins surged like a flood from behind, subrging Feng Yuan instantly.
"Feng Yuan!"
"Ah Mu! Rescue!"
Not standing beside Feng Yuan, Qi Chen and Dou Yanlan avoided calamity, Qi Chen urgently shouted at Ah Mu, but before Ah Mu acted, the flood of coins spread and revealed a stunned Feng Yuan.
What’s going on? A trap? But this trap feels odd.
"No, this is... a reward?"
Seeing the golden dal in hand, Feng Yuan realized this door might be a hidden reward room, unexpected for the Maze of Mirror to have such a feature.
"A reward?"
Qi Chen and Dou Yanlan curiously gathered; they didn’t expect a reward room existing here.
"Seems so, look, handed out according to our numbers and spirit beast count."
Picking up a gold dal, Feng Yuan noticed these coins only had collision volu when initially spilled out, now they seed to exist in a different dinsion.
So Feng Yuan easily fetched the golden dals from the pile.
On the dal’s front was the Maze of Mirror’s activity pattern, while the back had their avatars, not completely identical due to simplicity, but recognizable.
Furthermore, Xiao Ji and their dals were naturally included alongside Feng Yuan’s.
Hanging Xiao Ji’s dal around its neck, Feng Yuan muttered
"Don’t know if it’s newly made or a fake Data Domain creation, though it feels like a Data Domain forged counterfeit."
"Leaving the Data Domain, this thing might vanish, unsure if entering Data City later allows retrieval."
Xiao Ji happy with its dal suddenly felt down hearing Feng Yuan’s remark; this thing couldn’t be taken away.
"Surely there’ll be sothing else, just granting virtual rewards seems odd."
Dou Yanlan uncertainly stated, feeling there should be other rewards though unsure, Feng Yuan shrugged and said
"Who knows, let’s see if there’s anything else here."
