Although he had discovered the Divine Runes, Feng Yuan still didn’t dare to be sure this definitely had to do with the Kashantuosi Remnants. After all, there was still a tiny chance it wasn’t.
"Have you checked on the Dominator of All sealed in the Cave of Garomar?"
Looking at Agunas, Feng Yuan asked. He hadn’t found any useful clues here. Although the Divine Runes existed, none of them could confirm what those runes actually did; the only thing they could be sure of was that these Divine Runes were the kind that had once been usable.
Because Divine Runes that couldn’t be used wouldn’t interfere with Veronia’s Mirror Space in any way.
Feng Yuan suspected this thing might be related to the Dominator of All sealed here. After all, that thing’s abilities really were pretty outrageous.
"No. To enter the depths of the Sealing and investigate, we’d need to summon most of the Divine Beasts. If it isn’t necessary, we don’t want to do that."
Agunas flicked its tail as it spoke. Sothing this dangerous wasn’t sothing one or two Divine Beasts could unseal. To undo the Sealing, at least a large group of Divine Beasts had to be present.
Otherwise they could only consider using brute force to destroy it, but doing that would just be asking for trouble, wouldn’t it?
"In theory, the Sealing should be intact, right? Then what exactly did they co here to do?"
Rubbing his chin, Feng Yuan was a little puzzled. After thinking for a mont, he decided to go take a look at the Sealing area first. Although in theory the Sealing should be intact and undamaged, it was hard to say what the situation was actually like.
The Sealing area was beneath the Cave of Garomar. Without a Divine Beast that had participated in the original Sealing operation to lead the way, they might not have been able to find it.
Not only was there no road leading directly to this area, but the rock layers concealed large amounts of Divine Beast’s Power that would guide anyone who strayed in by mistake off in other directions.
Even for the Divine Beasts that had participated in the Sealing, it took so effort to bring Feng Yuan and the others to the Sealing area.
The Sealing area wasn’t small. Here, traps set by many Divine Beasts had been laid down. Even with layer upon layer of Sealing blocking it off, Feng Yuan could still feel the powerful strength contained beneath this Sealing area.
"It really is a top-tier Divine Artifact. However, the Sealing doesn’t seem to show any signs of damage, so what exactly is their goal?"
Releasing his Divine Sense to carefully scan it once over, Feng Yuan was a bit confused. Agunas glanced at him and said,
"Do we need to investigate the Dominator of All more deeply?"
"No need. From here I can already understand the general situation of this Sealing. However, intact is intact, but it seems like there’s been a constant Energy leak."
Feng Yuan looked sowhat puzzled at the Divine Beast that had led the way. The other nodded and said,
"That’s right. For so unknown reason that thing’s Energy keeps leaking out. If we kept it completely sealed with no release at all, this place wouldn’t be able to withstand it and would blow apart."
"So we deliberately left a channel for the Energy to spill out, to avoid that happening. Do you think they might have gone in through there?"
"Not very likely. I’ve seen that thing too. The defensive asures you set up are still intact. They’re not very likely to have gone through there."
"Alright, let’s head back. We’ll look around the other parts of the Cave of Garomar."
Sighing, Feng Yuan looked helpless. The outco was good—nothing had gone wrong with the Dominator of All—but their current problem still couldn’t be answered. What exactly were those guys trying to do?
Back in the passage of the Cave of Garomar, the Divine Beast that had led them took its leave from Feng Yuan. Veronia thought of sothing, looked at Feng Yuan, and said,
"I think we should investigate how they managed to master those Divine Runes in the first place."
"That’s not easy to investigate. After all, that sort of thing is unlikely to be recorded in any texts. Tamur can’t track sothing so completely clue-less either, right?"
Rubbing his chin, Feng Yuan spoke as he looked at Tamur. Although they knew the Kashantuosi Remnants had obtained Divine Runes from various nations, Feng Yuan didn’t know how they had gotten their hands on them.
This stuff had already been a secret back in the Mythical Era, let alone after the Mythical Era was destroyed—trying to reconstruct it now was even harder.
"I don’t know."
Swaying its body slightly, Tamur spoke. It truly couldn’t see through those people’s movents, nor did it know where exactly they had gotten the Divine Runes data from.
"Speaking of which, Veronia, do you have any impression of this? Mirror Patterns should be your specialty, right?"
"I don’t know. In theory, they shouldn’t be able to co into contact with this kind of thing at all."
Veronia was just as troubled. This stuff wasn’t so common commodity. Where exactly had they gotten it from?
The Big Cat, seeing everyone’s gloomy expressions, let out a few whimpering sounds, trying to ease the heavy mood. Veronia looked at the Big Cat in surprise and said,
"Repeat what you just said."
The Big Cat let out a questioning "woo," looking at Veronia in confusion and spreading its wings. It didn’t seem to think it had said anything offensive, right?
"What? The Big Cat shouldn’t have been targeting you, right?"
Agunas looked at Veronia suspiciously. Although it hadn’t really paid attention to what the Big Cat was saying, it didn’t rember the Big Cat saying anything bad about Veronia.
"It’s not about targeting . What it said reminded that there might really be such a possibility."
Tilting its head in confusion, the Big Cat whimpered as it tried to repeat what it had said earlier. Since Feng Yuan couldn’t understand the Spirit Beast’s language, he could only stand to the side and watch.
Flicking its tail, Agunas looked at Feng Yuan. This was sothing probably only he could confirm.
"Why are you looking at like that?"
Not understanding what that strange look in Agunas’ eyes ant, Feng Yuan scratched his hair and spoke. With a flick of its tail, Agunas said,
"There’s sothing I need to confirm with you. The Big Cat just said that perhaps these Divine Runes were obtained by them mixing in with the Mythological Remnants and getting the data from the Yin World. Do you think that’s possible?"
"Mm... that’s really hard to say. Although the Yin World can’t recreate the Mythical Era, related materials do actually exist."
"They actually do?!"
Agunas and the others looked at Feng Yuan in shock. In theory, the Mythical Era was already an irretrievable lost age. Even using the Ti River, it was difficult to obtain much information about the Mythical Era.
And now, besides Tamur, the Yin World also had data from the Mythical Era?!
"Of course. After all, the Yin World is the world’s final backup chanism. You could say that the information from every single era is recorded in full in the Yin World. But for certain reasons, that data was supplented all at once from a certain point in ti onward, so there may be so errors."
"But in theory, it should all be the true history recognized by the world, so there’s essentially no difference."
Feng Yuan spread his hands as he spoke. The Yin World would obviously have complete data about the Mythical Era. Otherwise, when rebuilding the world, wouldn’t the related history get thrown out?
One had to know that the Yin World was one of the few chanisms that could cover the Ti River within a rebuilt world.
"Mm, put like that, it really is possible they got the data from the Yin World. But what are they actually trying to do?"
"Break into the Yin World just to get Divine Runes data? Or did they obtain a huge amount of data related to the Mythical Era?"
"But if you say they’re trying to stir up trouble—if sothing hadn’t gone wrong on the Mythological Remnants’ side this ti, we might never have discovered their tracks."
Feng Yuan just felt a headache coming on. The actions of that group of Kashantuosi Remnants were simply too hard to guess.
Flicking its tail, Agunas said,
"This is troubleso. Unlike the Mythological Remnants, if they get ahold of massive amounts of Mythical Era data, there’s no telling whether they might actually stir up sothing huge. It’s just—if they didn’t co here for the Dominator of All, then what did they co for?"
In Agunas’ eyes, the threat level of the Kashantuosi Remnants rose another notch. And yet it still couldn’t figure out what those guys were trying to do.
It wasn’t as simple as just lurking in the shadows. They were causing trouble everywhere, but there was no way to connect all these incidents together. What on earth were they doing?
"Could they be trying to recreate the Mythical Era? But if that’s the case, then The Old World Continent should also be one of their targets."
Veronia spoke, having thought of sothing. Rubbing his chin, Feng Yuan thought for a mont and said,
"Not sure, but I feel like that’s probably not it. After all, if they really wanted to do that, they wouldn’t be sabotaging things in the Parallel World. If it weren’t for them, the problems in the Parallel World probably wouldn’t have been discovered so soon."
Honestly, if the Kashantuosi Remnants hadn’t created that Darkness of the Devouring World ss, they really might not have noticed that place.
But what exactly were they trying to do?
Help the Mythological Remnants, and then turn around and make trouble for them?
No matter how you looked at it, it all seed like the work of lunatics.
