882: Chapter 883: Born from a teorite 882: Chapter 883: Born from a teorite “A curse?
This thing has gotten mixed in?”
Feng Yuan was sowhat surprised.
While the exterior of the teorite was indeed sealed by so rules, he could still discern the bizarre curse power within, and it was certainly no amusing matter.
“I always feel that the teorite Museum has so subtleties, with all kinds of strange dangerous stuff.”
Feng Yuan said helplessly.
He had only been there for a short while and had already spotted quite a few dangerous items.
He glanced at Agunas and said with a strange expression,
“I an, don’t you think you should consider cleaning up those teorites?
I always feel like sothing bad is going to happen.”
“This…”
Agunas flicked his tail a bit helplessly, as he also didn’t know that these teorites contained all sorts of chaotic things.
Perhaps only He knew what the real situation with these teorites was.
“Is that curse very powerful?”
Lanadi asked sowhat puzzled, looking at the teorite while Feng Yuan gently traced his finger on the protective glass,
“It’s not that significant.
Starting from the Legendary Level, there is resistance, and at the Sacred Beast Level, it is almost useless.
Only those below this strength level will be affected.
The curse seems to be a type that continuously devours and spreads life force.”
Life force?
Lanadi was initially puzzled but instantly realized that it did not refer to the attribute of the Spirit Beasts.
Agunas flicked his tail and said,
“It indeed is quite troubleso.
If it were unintentionally released, Maomu City could be dood.”
“That’s not as exaggerated.
This thing has no resistance to ti.
Lorraine Tower could handle it just by stepping in.”
Shrugging, Feng Yuan said unconcernedly.
Agunas swept a glance at Feng Yuan and flicked his tail before saying,
“Shall I ntion it to Lorraine Tower and have it co take a look?”
“I think you guys should speak to the Alliance and go through all those teorites.
Who knows if there are other strange things in other places.”
“This indeed…”
After a mont’s hesitation, Agunas nodded in agreent.
He also couldn’t believe that Maomu City was so lucky to have collected an array of dangerous items; other cities and regions probably had plenty of dangerous things as well.
Seeing Feng Yuan looking at him, Lanadi smiled and said,
“The Mordan region doesn’t need to worry.
We don’t have many teorites falling there, and besides, Lorna has warned us not to collect those teorites but to leave them for her to deal with.”
“You see, I also don’t know what the situation is.
She’s not a Sacred Beast and is not in the Sacred Beast intelligence network; there’s absolutely no way to contact her.”
“Speaking of which, Veludante seems to be out of touch.
It hardly communicates with us either.”
Agunas said sowhat speechlessly, then glanced at Agunas as Feng Yuan said,
“You’d better check with Lorraine Tower to see if Lorna is alright.
These things can only cause so trouble, but if there’s more or say, at so particular monts, you might suffer.”
“Yes, it truly is.”
Agunas couldn’t help but agree with Feng Yuan’s concern.
This was indeed no small matter.
Generally, ordinary Spirit Beasts shouldn’t possess such powerful abilities.
A Ti-space Guardian, regardless of how it got the na, clearly indicated potent ti and space interference powers, which strictly speaking were now encroaching on the authority of Divine Beasts.
Veronia climbed onto Feng Yuan’s head, curiously looking at that teorite and apparently noticing sothing, she said,
“Can I have that thing?”
“Do you want it?”
Feng Yuan was a bit surprised; he didn’t quite understand what Veronia wanted with that thing, but since she was a Divine Beast, she probably wouldn’t create chaos.
After thinking it over, Feng Yuan said,
“We probably should ask the person in charge before leaving.
I cannot guarantee I can definitely get it.”
Nodding, Veronia moved to the front of the glass casing on the teorite and said,
“I can feel it.
The power inside can give birth to a new life, possibly bringing a new rule to this world.”
Veronia turned towards Feng Yuan and smiled sweetly.
Agunas paused and said,
“Life?
That doesn’t seem likely.”
Most Spirit Beasts rely on the power of the Creator Twin Dragon Gods for their birth, with the earliest Mythical Era being entirely created by the Creator Twin Dragon Gods during their zenith.
However, as they departed, along with that catastrophe, it led to the destruction of the Mythical Era.
Nevertheless, the prevailing belief is that the current world’s Spirit Beasts mostly evolved from those created by the Creator Twin Dragon Gods.
Could a fragnted rule from the Outer World also give birth to Spirit Beasts?
Agunas expressed disbelief.
“Is it a Spirit Beast or sothing else?”
Feng Yuan felt confused.
If it were a Spirit Beast, although the Creator Twin Dragon Gods had already endowed it with related abilities, they seed not to be particularly keen on creating new Spirit Beasts but rather let them evolve on their own.
As for other creatures, there seed to be so problems—at least currently, the extraordinary power system wasn’t quite suitable for anything beyond Spirit Beasts.
“Spirit Beast, and a special one at that.”
Veronia stared at the teorite and then, recalling sothing, looked at Feng Yuan,
“It’s a special Spirit Beast that evolved through the power of the World of Mirrors.
If it cannot reproduce soon, there might be so problems.”
“Isn’t that the ability of the Creator Twin Dragon Gods?”
Agunas looked at Veronia dubiously.
He didn’t believe Veronia had that ability, but Feng Yuan recalled sothing and said to Veronia,
“That’s a specially designated Spirit Beast, isn’t it?
Isn’t this sowhat wasteful?”
Shaking her head, Veronia looked at the teorite and replied,
“It’s not a big issue, and a Curse Series Spirit Beast has never appeared before.”
“It probably isn’t from the Curse Series; it’s more likely from the Mystic Series or the Death Series.”
Hearing Feng Yuan’s words, Veronia looked at him with so surprise and asked,
“Why?”
“There isn’t a Curse attribute among the power attributes, so naturally, a Curse Series Spirit Beast cannot be born, except for this teorite that contains the rules of the curse.
Aren’t you considering other possibilities?”
After looking at Feng Yuan, Veronia shook her head and answered,
“Nothing else is as interesting.”
The group wandered around the teorite Pavilion, discovering many teorites with peculiar rules.
As they prepared to leave, Feng Yuan took out his credentials and said to Lanadi,
“Let’s do this.
I’ll get the person in charge to co over, and after discussing these matters, we can head to the next museum?”
“No need to trouble yourselves, I’ve already called them.”
The guide who had been quietly following them spoke up.
Just then, an elderly middle-aged man ca over, looked at the young lady guide, and said,
“Are these the people you ntioned?”
Seeing the man’s sowhat hostile deanor, Feng Yuan stepped back and looked at Agunas,
“I’ll leave it to you.”
Agunas, speechless, gave Feng Yuan a look and said,
“What are you thinking?
What can I possibly do about this conceptual matter?”
“I’m not trying to argue with you.
No matter how much deductive evidence we bring forward, the re fact that you are Divine Beasts is enough,”
the middle-aged man said regretfully.
This was reality—no amount of their conjecture could replace the truth of the situation.
While Agunas’s statents might lead to a lot of invalidated research, facing facts was the sole path of truth-seekers, not defining the world through their research.
“Dad…”
Seeing the middle-aged man’s disheartened look, the young lady guide felt a pang of sympathy.
She was aware of just how impactful the truth learned from Agunas could be on current research, yet it was an unavoidable issue.
Knowing the wrong path ahead and not correcting it would only cause more severe consequences.
“It’s okay, just feeling a bit upset for the mont,”
the middle-aged man waved off and then looked at Agunas,
“Which teorite do you think has issues?
Although I have the authority to give the teorite to you, I still need to register your information, as so things aren’t so simple.”
“No need, we just want to see what’s inside one piece of teorite; as for the other…”
Feng Yuan himself was unsure how to explain; even if the rules were extracted, the shell of the teorite might not change much, and he was unsure how to handle such matters.
Thinking quickly, he handed his credentials to the man and swiftly explained what needed to be done.
After pondering it over, the man said,
“This should be fine, but if there’s any special change, I hope to set up a research recording device in advance, as every teorite harbors sothing extraordinary inside.”
If the teorites were not too variable and unusable internally, they likely wouldn’t be on display but rather ingeniously processed as their unique trump cards.
