Ling Zhenfei naturally recognized him; it was Watanabe Goryu.
Seeing Ling Zhenfei, Watanabe Goryu fud, intending to challenge Ling Zhenfei when the ti ca, but was surprised Ling Zhenfei ca up ahead.
Upon reaching the arena, Ling Zhenfei laughed genuinely, heart full of glee, realizing Watanabe Goryu was easily duped.
"Brother Watanabe, what's up? You couldn't grab any candy below, and ca up to ask?"
Saying this, Ling Zhenfei pulled out so candies offering to Watanabe Goryu.
Watanabe Goryu fud, "Who wants your lousy candy, I ca to teach you a lesson."
After saying so, Watanabe Goryu raised his hand to strike, forcing Ling Zhenfei to jump aside.
Ling Zhenfei shouted at Kato Taka beneath the arena, "Great Judge Kato, isn't he acting improperly? You haven't declared the start yet."
Watanabe Goryu said, "There's no need to wait, it starts now."
Saying this, Watanabe Goryu flew towards Ling Zhenfei, delivering a palm strike.
Ling Zhenfei tossed candies from his hand towards Watanabe Goryu.
Though seemingly candies, they actually could serve as concealed weapons, especially when charged with Northern Spiritual Energy; getting hit wasn't pleasant.
The candies indeed thwarted Watanabe Goryu's attack, prompting Ling Zhenfei to shout to Kato Taka, "Great Judge, say sothing!"
Kato Taka replied, "It's already begun, so let the fight proceed."
Ling Zhenfei retorted, "That won't do, according to rules, Watanabe Keiai should be the first to fight."
Watanabe Goryu retorted, "You're already in battle; it doesn't matter, in the end, you'll still be defeated by ."
Saying this, he charged at Ling Zhenfei once more.
Ling Zhenfei scattered the remaining half-bag of candies over Watanabe Goryu like Celestial Maiden scattering flowers.
At the sa ti, Ling Zhenfei shouted at Watanabe Goryu, "Very well, in that case, send the next person first while I deal with you."
Watanabe Goryu fud, "You think you can handle ? Watch how I teach you a lesson."
Saying this, Northern Spiritual Energy burst forth from his body; he soared into the air, with arms motioning, conjuring two Spirit Energy Swords aiming to slash at Ling Zhenfei.
Ling Zhenfei currently could transform Northern Spiritual Energy into objects visible only to himself, others couldn't yet see. But Watanabe Goryu's Realm was evidently stronger.
Strangely, however, Ling Zhenfei and Watanabe Goryu shared a peak in the Dawen Realm, yet Ling Zhenfei couldn't achieve the sa. It wasn't due to Watanabe Goryu's excessive strength.
Perhaps it's due to Watanabe Goryu's cultivation technique being more specialized.
Watanabe Goryu wielded two swords, appearing as if crafted from ice sculptures.

Ling Zhenfei swiftly drew his Dragon Tooth Dagger and struck against Watanabe Goryu's swords.
The Dragon Tooth Dagger had a unique ability to absorb Spirit Energy, storing it within itself.
Hence, Ling Zhenfei's Dragon Tooth Dagger could counter Watanabe Goryu's Spirit Energy Swords.
But this sword's Spirit Energy was exceedingly strong, so the dagger's Spirit Energy absorption didn't quite suffice.
Ling Zhenfei wouldn't back down; his Dragon Tooth Dagger was well-practiced; as it struck, a tallic clinking resonated.
After only a few exchanges, Watanabe Goryu laughed loudly.
