Ling Zhenfei left the small courtyard and headed straight to the Xi Shan Group's office.

After entering, Ling Zhenfei walked towards Xue Mingtang's office.

On the way, people greeted Ling Zhenfei as they saw him.

Ling Zhenfei nodded and then reached the door of Xue Mingtang's office.

After knocking on the door, he pushed it open. At this mont, Xue Mingtang was on the phone, discussing sothing unknown.

Seeing Ling Zhenfei, Xue Mingtang waved at him and continued the call, said a few words, and then hung up.

"When did Boss Ling return?"

Ling Zhenfei said, "I just arrived as well. How are things now, anything happening?"

Xue Mingtang said, "It's normal for a group this size to encounter so issues. Recently, it seems like soone is trying to deal with Xi Shan Group, causing trouble everywhere. I'm looking into it."

Ling Zhenfei asked, "Any leads?"

Xue Mingtang said, "The investigators just called; it seems the competition is responsible."

Ling Zhenfei was startled, saying, "We have competitors now?"

Xue Mingtang said, "Calling them competitors isn't exactly accurate; it's so catering companies that can't compete with us. Seeing our business doing well, they want to stir up trouble."

Ling Zhenfei asked, "Any solutions?"

Xue Mingtang laughed and said, "Since they're sabotaging from behind, it ans they know they're not a match for us. They're just clowns."

Ling Zhenfei said, "Even though they're clowns, they're good at using public opinion to pressure. We still need to be cautious; if they stir up public opinion against us, it'll be troubleso, even if our business reputation is good."

Xue Mingtang said, "You're absolutely right. I've prepared for it. Since they're using public opinion against us, I'm holding a press conference at Xishan Manor tomorrow."

Ling Zhenfei was surprised, asking, "What's the purpose of the press conference?"

Xue Mingtang said, "They claim we're not environntally friendly and destroy the environnt. The conference will focus on establishing an ecological manor and farm.

We'll first show them how much we value environntal protection at our manor. Then, we're investing heavily to enhance environntal protection, aiming to turn the entire Xi Shan Group into a green enterprise."

Ling Zhenfei laughed, saying, "You're really sothing. With this move, they'll probably be dumbfounded."

Xue Mingtang said, "I initially planned to be the one setting the stage, but since you're back, naturally you're the best spokesperson for the conference."

Ling Zhenfei said, "You're the one in charge now, you should do it."

Xue Mingtang said, "To keep Xi Shan Group in the spotlight, I think it's better if you do it. You've been absent for quite so ti; it's ti for you to appear."

Ling Zhenfei said, "Alright, I'll follow your lead."

Xue Mingtang said, "Didn't you say you were going far away? How co you're back so soon?"

Ling Zhenfei said, "The timing changed; I haven't left yet. I expect to leave soon."

Xue Mingtang said, "Director Zhou and I have agreed, and the location is chosen, just waiting for approval. Since you've decided, let's finalize it now."

Zhou Yun evidently knew Ling Zhenfei had returned.

Ling Zhenfei shook his head, saying, "Technically, I haven't left yet."

Zhou Yun said, "You shouldn't have returned then, causing double worry."

Ling Zhenfei said, "Look at it this way, I'm easing your mind a bit."

Zhou Yun said, "My mind will only ease if you stay put. Don't think I don't know; I asked Chunyu, she said where you're going is dangerous."

Ling Zhenfei said, "You're trusting the words of a child like Chunyu? I'll have a good talk with her."

Zhou Yun said, "Why not? Chunyu's not a child, she's grown up enough not to deceive ."

Ling Zhenfei said, "You're calling Chunyu grown-up? Maybe she should get married."

Zhou Yun said, "Stop changing subjects. Can you not leave this ti?"

Ling Zhenfei said, "I have to go, just to check things out."

Zhou Yun sighed deeply, clearly worried about Ling Zhenfei.

At this mont, the lunch bell rang. Zhou Yun said, "Let's go eat together."

Ling Zhenfei said, "I'm having lunch at Elder Lu's place. We'll dine at ho tonight."

Zhou Yun said, "Alright, if Chunyu's away all day, you'll bring her ho for dinner tonight."

Ling Zhenfei left the company, and a crowd hurried towards Xi Shan Group's restaurant.

Ling Zhenfei returned to Lu Tao's house, and before entering, he heard Chunyu speaking.

Upon entering, he saw Chunyu talking to Lu Tao, with Murong Liuqing sitting across from them.

Seeing Ling Zhenfei enter, Lu Tao said, "Zhenfei, you better manage your sister."

Chunyu saw Ling Zhenfei and left Lu Tao to run towards him, jumping right into his arms.

Though Chunyu is ten years younger than Ling Zhenfei, she's grown physically, reaching his shoulder at over 1.6 ters tall, not short for a girl.

"Brother, you're finally back. Old Man Lu bullied ."

Ling Zhenfei listened with amusent, pushing Chunyu away, saying, "Tell how Elder Lu bullied you."

Chunyu said, "He told that the cultivation technique he taught could beat Sister Lu, but I tried it this morning and it didn't work at all."

Lu Tao laughed heartily, saying, "This girl is unreasonable, thinking she could beat Yunshang who's studied for over ten years, after just a month's learning—like a snake swallowing an elephant."
