"Who is it?" Ling Zhenfei didn't show much interest, but he casually asked.
He never expected Fatty's reply would truly surprise him, "Boss, let tell you, the one cooperating with us this ti is Old Qiao!"
"What? Old Qiao? Which Old Qiao are you talking about?"
Upon hearing this, Ling Zhenfei felt a great surprise. The only elderly person with the last na Qiao he knew seed to be just one!
"Hey, who else could it be but Old Qiao!" Fatty said with a laugh, "The partner I've found for us is definitely soone we both respect. He's the director of Rende Hospital, Qiao Zhengyi, Old Qiao!"
So it was the elder Qiao Zhengyi!
Hearing that Fatty had brought in Qiao Zhengyi as a partner, Ling Zhenfei was indeed overjoyed.
He, of course, knew of Old Qiao's character, who was absolutely a trustworthy and upright individual. Furthermore, he rembered that Old Qiao was a die-hard ornantal fish enthusiast with decades of experience in fishkeeping.
It could be said that Old Qiao's research in ornantal fish was in no way inferior to his dical arts.
Looking at it this way, Fatty really did choose the right person for this partnership!
"How about it, boss, I knew you wouldn't have any objections to choosing Old Qiao as a partner!" Hearing the surprise in Ling Zhenfei's voice, Fatty sounded sowhat smug over the phone.
However, before Zhenfei could respond, Fatty went on, "Old Qiao has already invited us for a detailed talk, but I've been out of town these few days. Boss, if you have ti today, why don't you go see Old Qiao. He usually sees patients at Rende Hospital, and it's very easy to find him."
"Hmm, it just so happens I'm free today, so I'll go to the city and talk to Old Qiao!" Upon hearing this, Ling Zhenfei nodded and agreed, then hung up the phone.
After breakfast, Ling Zhenfei thought since he had nothing to do at ho, he might as well ride his electric trike into the city, heading straight for Rende Hospital.
Rende Hospital was a private hospital funded and established by Old Qiao. Although its scale could not compare with that of a large top-tier hospital like Binyang Hospital, its capabilities should not be underestimated.
Plus, with Old Qiao, a highly respected and skilled practitioner of traditional Chinese dicine, holding consultations there, and considering that the treatnt costs were more than half lower than in ordinary hospitals, it was no wonder that patients were constantly streaming into Rende Hospital.
Because Old Qiao was a practitioner of traditional Chinese dicine, Rende Hospital was mainly focused on traditional Chinese dicine, with Western dicine as an auxiliary.
About half an hour later, Ling Zhenfei arrived at Rende Hospital riding his trike.
Just as he reached the hospital entrance, a security guard seeing his scruffy appearance and the fact that he had arrived on a trike, was just about to stop him.
Ling Zhenfei, having anticipated this, quickly took out the Platinum Card Old Qiao had given him last ti and flashed it in front of the guard, saying irritably, "I am a friend of Old Qiao, here to see him for sothing important!"
This Platinum Card was specially prepared by Old Qiao for VIP clients of the hospital, and unless the relationship was particularly close, one could not possibly possess it. Moreover, not to ntion anything else, the Platinum Card itself held considerable value.
The security guard was good at judging people based on their appearance, initially thinking Ling Zhenfei was just a nobody. However, as soon as he saw the Platinum Card Ling Zhenfei presented, he was taken aback and didn't dare obstruct any further, promptly stepping aside with respectful courtesy and a smile.
Ling Zhenfei couldn't be bothered to waste words with a security guard. After pocketing the Platinum Card, he headed straight for Old Qiao's office.
When Ling Zhenfei arrived at Old Qiao's office, he found to his surprise that Old Qiao wasn't there. Instead, there was a young doctor, about 27 or 28 years old and wearing a pair of gold-rimd glasses, sitting in consultation.
Outside the office, a long line of patients waited their turn. It was clear that they had all co to seek Old Qiao's expertise. Even though Old Qiao was not present, since there was a doctor on duty in the office, everyone's expectations weren't high; they still patiently queued up, waiting for the young doctor to treat them.
However, although the patients had patience, the young doctor seed to have very little of it, along with a bad temper.
The young doctor sat in his chair, looking absent-minded, constantly smoking a cigarette in his hand, as if he had so heavy thoughts on his mind.
When it ca to the patients' inquiries, the young doctor was extrely impatient, giving half-hearted responses.
If the patients beca too insistent with their questions, he would show a face of disgust, and would start yelling at them, causing all the patients to feel extrely embarrassed.
Ling Zhenfei stood in the corridor the whole ti, and when he saw what was happening, he found it very hard to understand.
After all, this was the Director's office. Since Old Qiao had asked this doctor to take over his consultations, it was apparent that the doctor's dical Arts and quality should have been approved by Old Qiao!
But now, looking at the doctor's quality, it seed to be sowhat lacking!
"Hey, beauty, who is this doctor? Why is he so irritable as if he's eaten gunpowder?" Ling Zhenfei wondered to himself, and imdiately pulled over a nurse to ask.
"Oh!"
The nurse turned back to glance at the young doctor, sighed, and said, "He is our hospital's Director Doctor Qin Fanghuai, also Old Qiao's nephew.
Director Qin is very skilled in dicine and is usually quite amiable, but recently, sothing seems to be bothering him. Just now, Director Qiao went out on a call, and asked him to fill in for a while, but in just a short period, he's beco absent-minded."
Having said that, the nurse shook her head with a sigh and walked away.
Qin Fanghuai, Old Qiao's nephew and also a lead physician?
Hearing the title of the young physician revealed by the nurse, Ling Zhenfei couldn't help but take a few long looks at the said Qin Fanghuai, noticing that he indeed seed very preoccupied, hardly concentrating on treating the patients.
Afterward, Ling Zhenfei asked so of the nearby patients about this Doctor Qin Fanghuai.
So regular patients told Ling Zhenfei that their accounts mostly matched what the nurse had said; everyone thought that Qin Fanghuai was not usually ill-tempered, but quite approachable. In terms of dical Arts, he had also received so authentic teachings from Old Qiao.
The reason for his current abnormal behavior could very likely be due to so recent, insurmountable setback, leading to his frustrated performance.
Seeing that Doctor Qin Fanghuai was not a bad doctor, Ling Zhenfei decided to confront him. At the very least, he needed to tell him to cheer up during work hours and not to bring any negative emotions into his work.
Because they are doctors, responsible to the patients, responsible for lives—it is the dical ethics and professional conduct that a doctor must adhere to.
"You scoundrel, I asked you to watch this place for , and you've made a ss? What on earth are you trying to do? At least seven or eight patients have called to complain, saying you're prescribing dications haphazardly, and that your attitude is extrely rude!"
Just as Ling Zhenfei was about to squeeze into the crowd to enter the office, an angry roar could already be heard from within the people.
