"How did you think to call ? It's like the sun rising from the west," Zheng Tingting said with evident joy in her voice.
"Haven't you also not called ? So people even said they'd co to Binyang to see , but that never happened."
"So what's the reason for your call today? Have you co to Provincial City?" Zheng Tingting seed to have realized sothing.
"Exactly, I'm at the train station now. Co and pick up," Ling Zhenfei replied unapologetically.
"Hold on, I'll be there soon!" Zheng Tingting's voice sounded very excited.
After hanging up, Ling Zhenfei waited outside the train station's entrance. Not knowing when Zheng Tingting would arrive, he casually strolled around the nearby area.
Though it was the Provincial City, the area around the train station was always a hub of chaos, where swindling and deception occurred daily. Having been around the block a few tis, Ling Zhenfei was quite cautious at the station entrance, making sure to look but not touch, not buy.
At that mont, a little girl begging not far from the train station caught Ling Zhenfei's attention. The girl, who looked about eleven or twelve, was dressed in battered clothes. She was kneeling on one leg, with the other leg positioned behind her, seemingly broken. In front of her was a small iron basin containing a few coins.
Beggars with disabilities or illnesses are a common sight near train stations, where many con artists pretend to be disabled to garner sympathy from passersby.
However, a girl of such a young age begging drew Ling Zhenfei's attention. Her leg appeared to be severely injured, and without saying a word, she just kneeled there. Whenever soone threw money into her basin, she would bow her head, her face devoid of any expressions, displaying profound numbness.
What drew Ling Zhenfei's attention to this girl was his unique ability—"Perspective Eye"—which allowed him to discern who among the beggars genuinely needed help and who were faking their condiotions. This girl's leg was genuinely broken and had beco infected due to lack of proper treatnt, threatening amputation if not addressed soon.
Moreover, her body bore nurous bruises, clearly from being beaten. Ling Zhenfei was shocked. How could such a young girl be subjected to such brutal treatnt? How had her leg broken? Why hadn't it been treated? And how had she gotten those bruises? Who had beaten her?
Ling Zhenfei was contemplating this when suddenly, three people approached—two n and one woman. The n were in black suits and sunglasses, each over six feet tall, their muscular bodies stretching their clothes, clearly not to be trifled with.
The most striking was the woman. Tall, with auburn hair and a sharp, delicate face, she wore a T-shirt and loose capris with sneakers on her feet.
This girl was in her twenties, and Ling Zhenfei took one look before ntally labeling her as a beautiful woman—stunning, but a bit cold.
"Little beggar, when will you ever stop? Why have you co here to beg again?" the woman sternly shouted at the little girl.
The little girl said nothing, keeping her head down in silence.
"Oh, you still won't talk? Alright, I'm starting a live stream right now to expose the faces of you professional beggars to everyone online," the woman said, taking out her phone and launching an app to begin live streaming.
"Hello everyone, I'm Heroine Bai Ling. Today I will show you the professional swindlers here at Provincial City Train Station Square. I, Heroine Bai Ling, aim to expose these frauds and drive them out of our Provincial City, making it more beautiful," she said as she aid her phone at the little girl, filming her.
"Look at this, everyone. This young girl, instead of learning good habits, pretends to be disabled everyday at the train station. I've seen her do this many tis. Today, we will ask her who brought her here to swindle, whether she's part of an organized scam."
By now, many people were drawn to the scene, all curious to see what the beautiful woman was about to do.

"Young girl, who told you to pretend to be disabled, your parents?"
"Little girl, you're having troubles, aren't you? Speak to us if you are."
Despite being bombarded with several questions, the little girl remained silent, her expression calm as if all of this had nothing to do with her.

The two n behind Bai Ling were clearly tough; they approached the little girl, ready to manhandle her. Ling Zhenfei was alard, seeing how seriously injured the girl's leg was. If she were thrown out harshly, she might be beyond saving.
"Stop right there!" Ling Zhenfei shouted, halting the n's actions and then walked up to the little girl.
Everyone was shocked, looking at this man who had suddenly appeared, unsure of what he intended to do.
"Who are you, and why are you stopping us from doing a good deed?" Bai Ling asked Ling Zhenfei with a puzzled look.
"I'm nobody special, but this young girl's leg is injured, and I can't let you throw her out."
Bai Ling laughed sarcastically and said, "Are you stupid? It's clear that people like this are scamrs, fake disabled just to swindle money. Don't be fooled. Step aside and let us throw her out."
Upon hearing this, the two n in black approached Ling Zhenfei. He said, "How do you know the little girl is faking? What if it's true?"
"Are you stupid? There's no way it's real. The person we're throwing out has nothing to do with you. Look, even the fans online are asking if you're in cahoots with this little girl," Bai Ling scrutinized Ling Zhenfei, seemingly trying to discern any connection between him and the girl.
"I have nothing to do with her; I'm just a passing doctor who can't stand by and watch you bully a patient."
Upon hearing this, Bai Ling's two bodyguards were not pleased, "Kid, what's wrong with bullying soone? If you don't step aside now, we'll throw you out too. Believe it or not."
Ling Zhenfei snorted coldly, "You're being far too high-handed. This little girl is rely begging; it's none of your business. If this isn't bullying, what is?"
