Ling Zhenfei and Bai Ling sat on the hospital bench waiting for Xiao Kunkun's arrival. By now, the ti was getting late, and the hospital had quieted down.
"If you're here to see a doctor, please go to the ergency room or register here," a nurse called out to Ling Zhenfei and Bai Ling.
"Doctor, we're waiting for soone; we're not here for treatnt," Bai Ling replied anxiously.
Just then, Ling Zhenfei's phone suddenly rang, the sound echoing throughout the hospital lobby.
"Sir, please take your call outside. We need to keep it quiet here."
"Alright, I'll go outside to take it," Ling Zhenfei said as he walked out to answer the call.
This call was from Long Hai, and if it hadn't been for Long Hai, Ling Zhenfei would not have planned to answer it. Long Hai wouldn't call him unless it was sothing important.
"Hello, Big Brother Long, what's the matter?"
Long Hai's voice sounded very urgent, "Brother, I'm asking if you're currently in Modu?"

"Did they say if they want alive or dead?"
"It's a higher price for alive, cheaper for dead, but for a professional assassin, it's simpler to kill."
Ling Zhenfei chuckled and said, "Did you ask what price I was?"
"You're still joking? Do you realize how much danger you're in?" Long Hai's voice sounded a bit angry.
Ling Zhenfei quickly responded, "Alright, alright, Big Brother Long, I got it. Now they're in the dark, and I'm in the light. It's too late to run or be scared. I'm just afraid they will shoot from behind. I hope they want alive. Thank you, Big Brother, for this important ssage."

This news was certainly important, it at least provided Ling Zhenfei with a sense of precaution. Although Ling Zhenfei didn't know why soone would hire an assassin to kill him, it was almost certain that it had sothing to do with that incident at the Imperial Palace Club.
Ling Zhenfei silently made a resolution in his heart, that once he got back to Binyang, he would definitely have Long Hai settle this matter. If it wasn't resolved, then the Black Death Order would forever be a dark cloud hanging over him.
"What's wrong, whose call was it?" Bai Ling asked as she saw Ling Zhenfei walk back.
Seeing Bai Ling, Ling Zhenfei suddenly thought of Zhuo Yue. It was one thing if soone ca after him, but he feared for those close to him being threatened, like Bai Ling. He was an emotionally driven person, and if sothing like what happened to Zhuo Yue occurred again, he would rather be the one to die.
Rembering Zhuo Yue also brought nurous doubts to his mind; he had made a trip to the Capital City but hadn't seen Zhuo Yue's body, and then this strange woman appeared, shrouding Ling Zhenfei's mind in mystery, unable to co to a conclusion.
"It's nothing, just a friend," he said.
"What friend? Is it another woman?" Bai Ling asked Ling Zhenfei with a gaze full of killing aura.
"Even if it was a woman, what of it?" Ling Zhenfei was unsure of what Bai Ling ant.
"Hmph, playboy," Bai Ling said, then ignored Ling Zhenfei and went back to scrolling through Weibo.
"This is bad, soone already knows we've co to the Traditional Chinese dicine Hospital," Bai Ling exclaid as she read Weibo.
Ling Zhenfei hastily took the phone to look, and sure enough, soone had posted on Weibo about Xiao Kunkun being transferred to the Traditional Chinese dicine Hospital and Ling Zhenfei rushing over for a consultation overnight.
"That's impossible, we just got here not long ago, who leaked the information?" Ling Zhenfei was surprised.
"Ah, we're both so stupid, it must have been that taxi driver. Didn't we tell him not to spread the word when we got out of the car? How could he be so unreliable?" Bai Ling said angrily.
"Hey, look at this Weibo post, 'Xiao Kunkun transferred to Traditional Chinese dicine Hospital, Ling Zhenfei arrives overnight with girlfriend.' This 'girlfriend' must be referring to you," Ling Zhenfei said to Bai Ling with a smile, pointing at the post.

"No need, Xiao Kunkun's ambulance has arrived," Ling Zhenfei heard the siren of the ambulance from far away. Perhaps having received the news, many doctors and nurses from the Traditional Chinese dicine Hospital rushed out. They started preparing even before the vehicle had arrived.

After Xiao Kunkun's family had left, Ling Zhenfei chatted with Shen Songling.
