Divine Sense swept over, imdiately locking onto the positions of Akiramari and another ninja; the two were sending out Sword Qi, one in front and one behind, aiming at Ling Zhenfei who was caught in the middle.
Both of them were wielding white longswords with grave expressions, especially the other ninja whose na was unknown. His strength wasn't as high as Akiramari's. With the ninja collapsing to the ground, the Sword Qi threatening Ling Zhenfei in the sky significantly decreased. Although it was a good opportunity to escape, Ling Zhenfei did not rush to flee, instead charging directly towards Akiramari.
Swinging the Dragon Tooth Dagger, he blocked the Sword Qi aid at him, but there was still too much Sword Qi released by Akiramari. His dagger couldn't possibly block all of it.

But he persisted, despite the injuries, to rush to Akiramari's side and threw a punch at him.
Of course, Akiramari had not expected Ling Zhenfei to be so formidable—to eliminate one of his n with a single move in the darkness and to quickly locate him hidden in the dark.
Upon seeing Ling Zhenfei, Akiramari, still undaunted and surprised, quickly swung his longsword in defense. The Phantom Sword's techniques were indeed exquisite; Sword Qi crisscrossed in all directions, each streak rushing towards Ling Zhenfei from all around.

Akiramari dodged to the side, but still suffered a slash on his arm from the Dragon Tooth Dagger.
"Ouch!" Akiramari cried out, knowing that the situation was out of his control. He threw sothing on the ground that exploded into a cloud of white smoke, within which Akiramari instantly vanished.
This was a ninja's way of escaping, but Ling Zhenfei had no intention of letting him off so easily. A person cannot simply disappear without a trace, and even if Akiramari was invisible to the naked eye, Ling Zhenfei's Divine Sense was able to locate him.
Ling Zhenfei had Sky Piercing Finger at the ready on his hand. With his Divine Sense, he locked onto Akiramari's location and pointed directly at him.
Thud!
"Ah!"
Akimari let out a miserable scream in the night, followed by silence and then the sound of a body hitting the ground.
Ling Zhenfei knew Akiramari was certainly dead, as no one could survive a hit from Sky Piercing Finger.
After dealing with the two ninjas, Ling Zhenfei sat down on the ground, drained of energy.
He was covered in cuts from the Phantom Sword, and he also had internal injuries, which was why he hadn't used Heaven-Splitting Ten Fists but instead opted for Sky Piercing Finger.

"Mr. Ling is truly formidable," a voice said. "To be able to detect soone in the vicinity under such circumstances."
With those words, two figures erged from the darkness in the distance—one tall and thin, the other short and fat. The stark contrast between them would have been comical under different circumstances, but Ling Zhenfei was not in the mood to laugh; he was more worried because he could clearly sense that both individuals were in the Zhiyi Boundary, albeit just at the Zhiyi Initial Stage. However, the appearance of two individuals at the Zhiyi state together was quite formidable.
"Who are you?" Ling Zhenfei asked tentatively.
The tall, thin man chuckled and said, "Mr. Ling, Li Hao. We have long admired your reputation. To see you today is indeed as impressive as your na suggests."
The Short Fatty also gave a thumbs-up, remarking, "Indeed impressive. If I had been trapped in that white fog, I definitely wouldn't have been able to make it out alive. Not only did you survive, but you also successfully killed two Japanese ninjas. That's truly admirable."
