Ling Zhenfei's figure shifted, and with the smallest of movents, he struck those who attacked him. His actions were so swift that before anyone could realize what was happening, several were knocked to the ground.
He Dalong had not expected his n to be so ineffectual. Without any significant movent, Ling Zhenfei had floored all of his attackers.
"What a bunch of trash," He Dalong cursed, throwing a punch at Ling Zhenfei.
As soone who grew up as a small-ti thug, fighting was second nature to He Dalong. His punch was swift, accurate, and ruthless—most people couldn't match him, but he was facing Ling Zhenfei.
Before his punch could land, a fist suddenly appeared before his eyes, striking him squarely in the face.
Ling Zhenfei's punch, though not very forceful, still knocked He Dalong to the ground.
Writhing on the ground, He Dalong scread in pain.
"Damn you for hitting ! I'll see that you're dead," but before he could finish, Ling Zhenfei kicked him over.
He Dalong rolled several tis before coming to a stop. Ling Zhenfei stepped on him, pinning him to the ground and rendering him immobile.
"I told you not to ss with , or you'll be dead. Believe it or not, I could knock all your teeth out."
When Ling Zhenfei turned serious, he was truly frightening. His body radiated a vital energy, sothing that couldn't be imitated or seen, but it had a profound impact on others.
"What are you going to do?" He Dalong said, sowhat afraid of Ling Zhenfei.
Looking down at He Dalong, Ling Zhenfei asked, "Tell , what's your purpose in wanting to be the village party secretary?"
With his eyes darting around, He Dalong replied, "I don't an anything by it, I just want people to be afraid of , to think I'm the toughest."
Ling Zhenfei knew He Dalong was definitely not telling the whole truth. Wanting others to see him as the toughest was one aspect, but not the most important one, there had to be other underlying reasons.
Spending so much money for just that purpose seed a bit hard to justify.
But Ling Zhenfei didn't want to linger on the matter; as a Spiritual Cultivator, he didn't want to get too entangled with ordinary people.
"I'll remind you one more ti, don't ss with , or you won't be able to afford the consequences."
After finishing his statent, Ling Zhenfei stood up and continued walking towards Xishan Manor, paying no further attention to He Dalong and his group.
Only after Ling Zhenfei had walked so distance did the others help He Dalong to his feet.
"Boss, are you alright? That kid is too powerful; I was knocked down before I even saw what was happening."

The group looked at He Dalong with a flurry of discussions, but He Dalong kept his gaze fixed on the direction where Ling Zhenfei had left.

By then, Ling Zhenfei had already returned to Xishan Manor, and it was his first visit after many days. Xishan Manor had already undergone earth-shaking changes, almost unrecognizable.
By that ti, Xishan Manor had entirely turned into a vast construction site, and many places had begun to take shape, which made Ling Zhenfei very happy.
Two more greenhouses had been put into use, and the construction speed was several tis faster than before. A path leading up the mountain had been carved out, consisting exclusively of a wooden walkway, currently under construction, and it would soon reach the mountain summit.
Currently, houses were being built on the south side of the manor by the lake, and their outlines were beginning to erge.
Even more so on the south side of the lake, where the sound of machinery thundered—Ling Zhenfei had seen the blueprints, and the project was undeniably huge, almost science fiction. He just did not know when it would be completely finished.

"Master, why don't you seem very happy? Aren't you pleased to be the village chief?" Bai Lin asked, puzzled.
Ling Zhenfei answered, "What's there to be happy about? It was expected. By the way, we have a eting tonight; you go and prepare well. Cook all the dishes you've learned last ti, I want to see how much your skills have improved."
"Right away, Master. I'll start preparing now."
That evening, the managent team of Xishan Manor all ca together, gathering around a large table, eating and chatting.
The table was laden with a feast of delicious dishes, exuding exquisite flavors and aromas, making it hard to believe they were made by a cook from a township enterprise—anyone unaware might think they were prepared by a Five-Star hotel chef.
All of the managent team was present except for Zhou Qun from the fishery base; Sun Liqing from the Planting Departnt; Zhang Duo in charge of the woods; Li Erng managing infrastructure; and of course, Zhou Yun. This constituted the core frawork of the managent team.
Ling Zhenfei put down his chopsticks and said, "We've all had enough to eat now. I've called everyone together tonight because there is sothing very important to discuss. I believe you all are well aware that this matter represents a turning point for Xishan Manor."
"Our manor's large-scale developnt begins today. We will expand our facilities, increase our staff, add more departnts, and expand our business. This ans that managing everything will beco much harder."
